The Good

1. Kamen Rider OOOs (Complete) - 10/10 best fckn season ever

2. Kamen Rider Build (Complete) - Solid fucking season load of fun actually watched the movies and they were so good lol

3. Kamen Rider Fourze (Complete) - I (did not think this would rank so high for me but I loved Gentarou's look and his whole vibe and I adored the Kamen Rider Club in the end Also one thing about me? I love a consistent season and storyline lol) Overall fun toned season and enjoyed watching it.

4. Kamen Rider Zero-One (Complete) - First One I ever watched. loved the premise loved the season even though it could've been stronger

5. Kamen Rider Den-O (Complete) - Loved the show, hated the movie bullshit which took up like 10 eps 😮‍💨 for a not good movie? But a super fun show that I enjoyed a lot.

6. Kamen Rider W (Complete) - Loved the genre play and the show was fun to watch but the whole Sonozaki family bullshit fell flat for me and didn't make any sense at all. Left me with more questions than answers. But I'll forgive them because they brought me Phillip.

7. Kamen Rider Ghost (Complete) - Could've been better but I really enjoyed it. Thanks to the love of my life Alain 😍

8. Kamen Rider Drive (Complete) -This one is a hard to place cause I didn't care much for the premise but was very impressed on how cohesive the whole season was and I loved all the side characters. points off for ill fates for my fav characters 😭

9. Kamen Rider Zi-O (Complete) - Fun show but like complete nonsense? But it introduced me to a bunch of seasons I wanted to check out.

10. Kamen Rider Revice (Complete) - Listen was it technically good or well executed? No. But I liked the premise and it was a fun ride. And of course points for the lesbians 🥺 (but they weren't gay you might say, well they were to me ☺️)

The Bad

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid (10 eps - On Hold) - ugly outfits and I hate all of the Kamen Riders. You'd think a game based season would also have better games? 😔

Kamen Rider Gaim (16 eps - Dropped) - It's fine but I probably won't finish it doesn't seem like it's going anywhere interesting. This is one of those shows where I don't vibe with its concept of Kamen riders unfortunately.

Kamen Rider Geats (28 eps - Dropped) - just not my style. don't like the premise. I personally hate competition and reality tv shows so this was never gonna hit for me.

The Ugly

Kamen Rider Saber (13 episodes) - I'm not mad just disappointed ☹️. I think the thing that pisses me off more is the friendship rhetoric despite none of them being friends. it's ridiculous you have to build up to those things.

Kamen Rider Wizard (23 eps) - ...... why is the lead so boring? like what happened? Other people seem to like this season but god it's horrific to get through and just really boring.

Unranked:

Kamen Rider 555 (10 eps - prob won't finish); Kamen Rider Kabuto (5 eps and I don't remember a single thing about it so 😬); Kamen Rider Kiva (3 eps, not that interested)

Dropped:

Kamen Rider Gaim at 16 episodes;

Funny that the stereotypical cynic is an idealist who aged out of it. In my experience, the reverse is true. I was an extreme cynic as a teenager and then I noticed how profoundly limiting it was, and also that "cynics are cool and smart" was a message that was being constantly reinforced by corporate media for some reason.

I really think we should stop saying "kid-friendly" and start saying "ad-friendly". We shouldn't indulge these companies and their excuses anymore. I also think that continuing to pretend that this is about "protecting the children" pushes a lot of the blame onto kids and teens, who don't have the political power to push through any of this censorship legislature. Corporations and governments are to blame.
