Someone should make a disco elysium spiritual successor that takes place in a maze and follows a protagonist who has to eat all the dots in the maze whilst avoiding several ghosts
you can actually homebrew this in d&d 5e
Actually been getting to play 40K games recently, breaking out the lads and getting curbstomped repeatedly has been an absolute delight
I got a copy of Alice Isn't Dead a summer ago and absolutely loved it, so I decided to do a small visual development projected for it after receiving a character design assignment to create designs based on a book!
I caved. I got Balatro. I have done nothing but gamble for thirteen consecutive hours. Help.

I don’t care if anyone else made an audio YTP of this legendary post before me
Meanwhile this was what various medical professionals in that reddit thread had to say about it.
They do not, in fact, love it.
In the UK the NHS will recommend Reiki, acupuncture and even aromatherapy but will start on a good rant if you mention chiropracty
everyone knows someone for whom chiropracty was a miracle, that it did something and it made everything better, but every doctor knows someone fucked up by chiropracty
they will recommend snake oil if it takes the pressure off the nhs but will not recommend chiropracty when they have physiotherapists right there that do not break your back, crush your spinal cord or a hundred other scary ass things

learning that addiction is a progressive narrowing of the range of things that make one happy was kinda life changing for me. i apply it to everything not even just addiction i am always checking to ask if i am narrowing my range of happiness or widening it
always good to check whether your coping strategy has become something that needs its own coping strategies
Laarthyr and Cogg must get along just great. Observe the evidence:

im having feelings about the uffington white horse again
so essentially there’s this cool horse drawn into the hills in england made out of chalk and it’s like 3,000 years old.
people carved trenches 3,000 years ago and filled them with chalk in the shape of a horse but what’s interesting is that if you fail to maintain the horse by adding new chalk regularly, it will disappear. for 3,000 years, we’ve been filling in chalk in this horse so it doesn’t disappear.
we’ll never know what the purpose of the horse was originally. we’ll never know if it had ritual or spiritual significance or if it was just art. but we do know that people maintained it then, and, even though the meaning of the horse has long been lost to time, we continue to maintain it now.
the people who made this horse are long dead, but they live through us still, don’t you think?
couldn’t agree more we’re best friends now
