Hello there- I saw your response to my ask. My reasoning for keeping my anonymity is for safety reasons. I’ve just gotten over a long period of depression and I don’t want to risk re-triggering it with hate.
I would like to clear up some misunderstandings. First of all, I didn’t ask anyone to change their mind; my intention was, in an argument, trying to get the other person to consider the opposite side, to I guess have empathy.
I’m also curious- why do you view trans people as misogynistic? All we’re doing is going by different pronouns/names and changing our bodies as we please, nothing that affects women. Being trans is a natural phenomenon, as animals can be trans just as they can be gay. There is much scientific evidence to prove the existence of trans people. I’m just curious why by us being our natural selves we are being misogynistic.
That’s all I have to say on trans people, now if you would excuse me, I must complain about calculus. (Like, seriously, why the fuck do I need to waste eight pages on one problem? Math is my strong suit, I just like complaining.)

I'm sorry you're going through this period and hope you get through it as soon as possible. Depression sucks.
I should probably clarify right away that my comment about the "experiment"—saying that if you tried to defend even one gender-critical radfem you'd get a huge amount of backlash and might even be called a TERF yourself—was meant to show you something. That "TERF" can become anyone who doesn't meet the standards set by the trans community, and those who speak out against the "sisters," as TIMs sometimes call themselves. I'm not insisting that you write asks to me or other radfems non-anonymously. A lot of people do it that way.
It might be precisely because you possibly perceive "TERFs" or radfems as your arch-enemies that the fact we radfems actually feel empathy and/or compassion for TIFs seems foreign to you. TIFs (females who identify as non-binary, agender, men, and so on) are female, which means they fall directly within the circle of radfem interests. I first learned about the situation of trans "men" being oppressed by trans "women" in a subreddit dedicated to all trans people from the radfem side of Tumblr. I have no negativity towards you personally, if only because I don't know you that well. So, if your initial plan was to get empathy from radfems, well, you've already achieved your goal.
I think it's worth saying that radfems fight against misogyny, against the patriarchy, and against any infringement of women's rights, and for securing their rights and freedoms. The patriarchy gave birth to gender ideology. The right-wing ideology is that what makes a woman a woman is how feminine she is and how well she performs her "female role." But then something happened, and the left-wing gender ideology was born, which states that anyone who wants to be a woman can become one. In both cases, these ideologies presume to define what a woman is. You probably know examples of right-wing gender ideology, but not left-wing. So I'll give a few of my favorites:
- Hunter Schafer: "My gender was so influenced by a need to be used by men. My sexual orientation was not gay, it was not straight, it was an attraction, is an attraction, always to misogyny. Not feeling femme enough w/o being a victim of rape. The idea of being eaten used to arouse me."
- Andrea Long Chu: "At the centre of sissy porn lies the asshole, a kind of universal vagina through which femaleness can always be accessed. Getting fucked makes you female because fucked is what a female is."
- As well as quotes from other famous trans "women" like Jacob Tobia, Grace Lavery, and so on.
- Men think that breasts are direct proof of their womanhood; A popular Reddit post where a TIM tried to prove to his father that he was a woman by taking off his bra in front of him.
- Men who get aroused by being forced to do things women are forced to do (A popular Reddit post where a man felt "gender euphoria" because his mother made him wear a bra when guests came over).
- The existence of things like forcefem for men.
And if we change the biological definition of the word "woman" to this, then I don't want to live in this world. If we change the word "woman" to mean something else, then we have to control our language, stay silent about our reproductive organs, and of course not say anything bad about men, we haven't to say that lesbians are attracted to women only
Besides this, it's worth noting that there have been cases where women were raped by trans-"women" (convicted rapists of women) in women's prisons. When a man, at any convenient moment, can declare himself a woman and be granted additional privileges due to belonging to the trans community, he will take advantage of it. And I don't want that.
Gender is a social construct built on sex stereotypes. That's why animals can't be trans. A female cat can't one day think, "My God, I'm a male cat!" and then... I don't know... wear a blue collar? If we're talking about, for example, clownfish, they are hermaphrodites. Meaning their sex change happens naturally. They don't take hormones, they don't ask a clownfish doctor to remove their penis. Hermaphroditism is built into their life and is part of the biology of ALL clownfish. So it's not changed by some outcast fish, but by all of them. Besides, they have a specific sexual division into males and females. So I'd like to ask, are you a fish too? Or are you actually a human?
For a human, it is not normal to take alien hormones and cut off healthy body parts. Hormones are part of our body's life support system. And you risk developing illnesses as a female by taking testosterone.
Glad you like math! I like it too, but I'm also into biology and social science, which is precisely why I'm a radfem.
