About me
need to beam this tweet directly into everyone's minds right now
having a job is very weird bcos by and large your coworkers will be a variety of ages and you will not all be at the same stage of life. your coworker will be like, well I’m off home to spend time with my husband & child, what are you going to do with your evening? and you’re like, well, I plan on playing Rollercoaster Tycoon for as much as it as possible
And you are older than them
"what if someone regrets transitioning" if you are 18 or over in free country usa you can walk into any tattoo parlor and ask for a tattoo that will be on your body forever and ever and ever and they will give it to you with the understanding that if you dont like the result or you regret it later that's your fucking problem and not theirs
There is no damage more irreversible than death. Let trans people transition.
yk what I've realized as someone who has been both a queer girl and a queer guy?
when gay girls flirt its usually a little shy, like they're afraid of being too bold too quick, and you can barely tell if they're flirting bc it'll be like "omg you're soo pretty" "thanks but youuu" "aww stopp"
and gay guys are just like "lemme get in that butt, boy" and I'm just like "yes sir :3"
🤷🏻♂️
Idk if its just me but
I have a hard time being able to tell whether I genuinely can't do something because I'm disabled or if I'm just giving up on myself. Which things should I accept that I simply can't do and which things do I keep trying to do until I can?
MEXICO WIN!!! FUCK AI!!!
I fear a lot of people learned to take good care of library books as children and instead of internalizing "leave shared community items as you found them as much as possible, because other people will use them too" they internalized "printing and binding a book imbues it with sacred energy and if you dog-ear a mass-market paperback you're desecrating the entire concept of written language"
I love used books that are highlighted, dog-eared, and have little notes written in the margin. It's so cool to see which parts spoke to someone.
reblogging is very funny. like i went through your blog, i like this, this and this one too, but yk what? i love this one the most so i am going to take it and keep it safe in my own blog, bye thank youuuu.
Stupid people piss me off. Why are you being that dumb near me?
This is the ideal male body type. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.
also shoutout to my really tired old white guy gynecologist who when i said "i want a hysterectomy" did not push back at all and instead sighed, and without looking up at me from his tablet went "We'll have to do a bunch of stuff for insurance because it's a scam and otherwise they won't approve it" and then after laying out the plan walked me out and i dont know if we made eye contact once after shaking hands, which is exactly the kind of medical care i want in this day and age.
Unpopular opinion, but when someone gets an abortion, the person who got them pregnant is allowed to grieve too. No one's getting abortions willy nilly. It's usually a hard decision, and when its not a hard decision, its usually still hard to go through. Many people who get abortions grieve what could have been, even if they know they made the right choice. And the people who got them pregnant are allowed to grieve what could have been too. I don't mean people who try to control others and force them into pregnancy for selfish reasons. I mean people can be 100% pro-choice, support the decision to abort, and still feel complicated emotions about it. So many people act like the person who got them pregnant is evil. They're a person too. It wasn't their choice because it wasn't their body, but they were still involved in the situation, and they're often not going to be completely indifferent about it??
God, I can't wait to be a therapist. It baffles me how many pro-choice people think the person who got them pregnant doesn't deserve to have any feelings about it. Human beings have fucking feelings!! And you don't get to choose what those feelings are or when you have them!! Everyone deserves to have feelings!! I'm not saying they should be allowed to control someone else's body because of those feelings, I'm saying they should be allowed to talk about their feelings without being crucified!😀 Fuck, people are so insane sometimes.
Telling someone to shut the fuck up when they're going through this is so heartless.
The person who got the abortion isn't evil. The person who got them pregnant and is grieving the loss of potential parenthood is not evil either. It's just a complicated situation full of complicated feelings.
Your feelings are ALWAYS valid. It's your actions that are not always okay. For example, being sad or conflicted about your partner getting an abortion is okay. It's normal. Attacking them for the choice they made is NOT okay. You can support their decision and still have complicated feelings about it.
I just saw some guy on reddit talking abt how his FWB had an abortion and he fully supported her decision but was struggling with his feelings about it. The comments were HORRIBLE. I can never understand how someone could treat another human being that way. There were 2 types of comments, both different extremes. There was the "Its understandable that you're upset, she MURDERED YOUR BABY" Which is just... we all know those people are fucked up. And then there was "You expected her to be your human incubator? You're a disgusting piece of shit and you treat women like objects and use them for their bodies!" Which was just fucking insane because he wasn't saying that AT ALL😭 HE SUPPORTED HER DECISION!!! HE STRAIGHT UP SAID HE DIDN'T THINK HE SHOULD'VE HAD A SAY IN IT BECAUSE ITS HER BODY, NOT HIS!!! He was simply venting because he didn't know what to do with his feelings about it. And those comments probably made him feel 10x worse in every way possible.
Normalize pro-choice spaces for EVERYONE involved in these situations. They all need it.
Someone who gets an abortion may have a grieving period, and that doesn't mean they regret it or made the wrong decision. So why can't we understand that the person who got them pregnant can feel the same way? They can grieve and it doesn't mean they didn't support their partners choice.
i think this is the funniest possible image that could be used to illustrate this subject
OK FUN FACT i also thought this picture was hilarious when i encountered it a few months ago, so i was curious how it ended up on wikipedia
it turns out the uploader is in fact the woman in the photo (she's uploaded a few other pictures of herself to other articles) and she ran an extremely web 1.0 site on the topic of bondage
this was apparently a long-standing fantasy of hers and she in fact did an entire video plus accompanying photoshoot about it, which was run in a bondage magazine in the 90s and did in fact take place on an abandoned train track. they committed to the bit hard enough that there's even a shot of the sinister villain looming over her with a big document labeled DEED and a pen
the best part is that according to this page, there were two "villains" involved (the woman's two partners, apparently), and the other one was dressed as a gorilla. sadly there are no images of the gorilla kidnapper because that sounds like. even funnier.
anyway i thought this whole thing was kinda cute, lol
Objectively the funniest (and only memorable) time I've been blocked on any website was when Jordan Peterson posted "nobody knew about transgenderism five years ago" on twitter and I quoted it with "you've been saying this for ten years"
found a snake on youtube that legit gets angry and strikes at its owner's laptop whenever markiplier is on the screen
I’m subscribed to that channel. The owner has played multiple other YouTubers to see if the snake just hated Markiplier or was just hostile towards men. Turns out he was fine watching all the other YouTubers he just hated Markiplier specifically 😂
The snake with other YouTubers:
Vs the snake with Markiplier
Tofu the snake! the owner has been running several various experiments based on people's thoughts/theories in the comments, like showing an edited image of Mark (it took Tofu a few minutes to recognize him, but once they did they immediately started trying to attack him) and even bringing in other snakes to see if they react too (none did). so far the consensus is that Tofu just really fucking hates Markiplier
