I wil, eventually, shut up about this but like

It was so smart of Agents of Shield to have Daisy fall in love with Sousa during the loops. Because, with him, you could see the inflatuation become something deeper during their captivity and by the end of it he’s fallen super deep into it... but Daisy was mostly unconscious through most of it and while we saw last episode that his rescue moved something inside her, it would’ve made no sense to have her had the same development while in that state. The loops give her time to know him and fall for him at her own pace. It also eliminates the possibility of her just being inflatuted with him due to his rescue. It’s not the captivity that gets to her, it is the constancy and gentleness he shows her loop after loop.

I just think it’s nice narratively and they pulled it off so well. It’s also probably why after only 6 episodes of buildup the kiss feels earned instead of rushed. Both of their developments just make SENSE.
