Nox is a parasite from another dimension. It slipped through the tears of reality and found itself on earth. There, it fell in "love" with a terminally ill woman. Fueled by obsession and hunger, it courted the woman and surprisingly, the woman fell equally in love with Nox. She matched it's obsession and gave permission for Nox to own her body after death. Now Nox roams within her body, treating it like a shrine, tearing apart anything or anyone that threatens to tarnish it's lovers skin. (It has literally ripped open a man's ribs because it felt like he dirtied it's body by leaning against it too much on the bus)
