Waves are a four piece alternative rock band from the Isle of Wight. Formed in the summer of 2012, Waves have gone on to play some of the most prestigious venues on the south coast of England, including Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms, Isle of Wight Festival and Southampton Joiners. Their debut self-titled EP was released in the summer of 2013 at a hometown show, to a sold out crowd. 2014 promises big plans from Waves as they are set to release more music and play shows all around the United Kingdom.

***ANNOUNCEMENT*** - We're excited to reveal that our brand new EP, titled 'YOUNG HEARTS' will finally be released April 10th! We are also doing a little run of shows to coincide with the lead up to our EP LAUNCH live at The Blacksheep. A little update...

It's been a little while since we've done one of these, just thought it'd be nice to update you all on what's currently going on behind the scenes right now!

We're currently in the process of writing our second EP, with a view to being released towards the start of next year, we've also got some really awesome plans for spring that you'll find out about very soon! We've just done a brand spanking new promotional photoshoot, where we're all pulling horrendously serious faces, pictures can be viewed on our Facebook right now!
