Sorry itās taken me so long to respond š I was wondering if benga boys was maybe an autocorrect mistake for bnha. If not, Iām not sure who youāre talking about. Iād really love to write about this trend though bc I think itās honestly really cool.
Authors Note: So I saw this idea with another anime on tiktok and even though iām sure there are probably ones for Haikyuu!! I wanted to do one anyways. I only did some karasuno but if anybody wants to see other characters just request!
Kageyama
- He had braces throughout middle school and his first year of high school
- Hinata didnāt realize bc he never really smiles and he has clear bands
- When he does find out he thinks itās hilarious and wonāt let Kageyama forget that he has better teeth

- Much to his demise he gets braces before his second year of high school
- Everyone who saw him making fun of Kageyama is sure to bring up his braces
- He doesn't try to hide them like Kageyama
- He actually enjoys picking colorful bands everytime he goes back (he will never admit it though)
- He gets red, grey, and black bands most often but he has had pink ones before
- Everytime he gets hit in the face his mouth bLEEDS
- And he gets hit in the face a lot
- The team carries a separate bag filled with first aid items just for his mouth

- So like unpopular opinion but I like to think he has braces well into his third year

They were the visiting team so you weren't familiar with the school. You wandered for a few minutes before you found doors labeled āboys changing roomsā. You stood outside waiting for someone to exit. The door opened and you looked up at the boys who had come out. Recognizing none of them brought you to the conclusion that this was the team they had just played, the Johzenji high school boys team.Ā
Despite just losing they all wore smiles. You figured it would be safe to ask them where the other locker room was, it being their school you were in. āExcuse me, would you be able to give me directions to the other locker rooms,ā you asked walking closer to the few boys who lingered.Ā
āHmhh, I havenāt seen you around before, what's your name beautiful?ā The boy with the bleach job who had answered moved closer towards you. Ignoring his question you repeated, āI was just looking for the other locker rooms.ā āHey thereās no need to play hard to get,ā he said while placing an arm over your head. You attempted to see over his shoulder looking for anyone from Aoba Johsai, but you couldnāt see past his broad shoulders. He was much taller than you, as are most volleyball players. You knew this would make it difficult to shake him off.
