I’m currently on S5 of 9-1-1 and it’s so funny to me how Eddie is panicking about Ana and this being like a serious relationship so at the end of very exhausting shift, he comes back home and literally tells her to go home 😭 my boy would never be annoyed or would have his social battery running out, if it was a Buck…. just saying.

I'm pretty sure the only time Stiles smiles in the first half of season 5 (the season where Derek left Beacon Hills) and shows any softness at all is when he sees the D.H. signature on the book shelf. He gets so soft & his eyes flutter & and he finally fully RELAXES for two seconds when he's been so so so wound up and paranoid and clearly struggling so much with taking on Derek's role and filling that absence in the pack dynamic. Shoving people into walls for information, making threats not out of cleverness or wit but out of survival, an unhealed anger fueling him out of self-preservation when he's lost one of his greatest protectors in canon. That boy does not want to be Derek. He wants Derek.

Stiles, terrified of being possessed again, cannot bare to sleep alone. He's tried restraints but they're practically impossible to get a good night's sleep in. He starts sneaking into his dad's bed to start but the man pulls to many nightshifts and can barely restrain Stiles let alone any supernatural being in his body so he climbs into Scott's window. Scott, however, is a teenage boy, so after one too many times walking in on Scott and Allison in various states of undress Stiles has to concider his options.

Issac cannot handle the weight of someone on top of him without flashbacks, nobody wants to deal with the rumors that would come from Stiles being at Lydia's house at night, Kira has actual parents that might protest to him sleeping in their teenage daughter's bed, Peter is unfortunately kinda evil and no one knows where exactly Erica and Boyd live.

All in all, Derek is completely unsurprised (having received some very concerned phone calls from Scott after several nights without seeing Stiles) when he wakes up to an exhausted body falling on top of him in the middle of the night.

Stiles wakes up well rested for once only to find himself instead of fully clothed, shoes on, on top of the covers like he went to sleep, but in soft pajamas with washed hair and tucked against a very firm werewolf chest. And I mean thats practically permission right? Stiles eventually stops sneaking in and just shows up at Derek's with dinner in hand and if he starts sleeping in Derek's discarded shirts that's his business.
