About Me

Hello!! You can call me LabRat. I am in my late 20's, a trans man, and I am bisexual. I exclusively use He/Him pronouns.

So I mainly write and post about emotional whump, aftermath of whump, captivity, kidnapping, and conditioning. Though I am also a huge fan of pet whump, Master/Slave, and (from what I’ve seen) the Box Boy Universe. 

Non-whump specific fanfic stuff I also enjoy are A/B/O, (all 18+) large age gap relationships/pairings (e.g.: someone in their 20s being with someone in their 50s), Fluff, and angst.

I have MANY OCs I’ve been wanting to post short stories with them for a while, and I do plan on eventually pulling them out to play with on here, but honestly life has been a mess and I have really been struggling to write. So who knows when that will happen.

My Whumpee’s and Whumpers are always going to be AT LEAST 18yrs of age, mainly because I often lean heavy towards NSFW content in my stories, and I refuse to write stuff like that with an underage character. That and personally, even if it was SFW whump, I just don't feel comfortable nor enjoy writing underage characters.

So, if I neglect to mention a Whumpees age, you can rest assured that they are a legal adult. Often at the youngest in their 20's.

I am very much a “you do you” kinda guy when it comes to writing, meaning that I am not going to fight you on what you decide to write or ship. That doesn’t mean I am okay with or comfortable with all ships or stories. Simply that I am not here to argue about people’s ships or the stories they write.

Trigger warning: OCD Whumpee is subjected to relentless, unpredictable abuse and begins to develop irrational, obsessive compulsive thoughts and behaviours as a result. They're constantly looking for patterns to try and predict what's coming, and developing little rituals as a way to try and exert some control over their situations

'I always double-knot my laces. Yesterday I didn't and she was in a bad mood all day. Now I double-tie them, untie them and then tie double tie them again to make sure.'

'He's angrier when he eats out of the red bowl for breakfast, I'm sure. I need to hide it and only serve his meals in the black bowl.'

'The beatings are less bad when I take an even number of steps when I'm walking towards them.'

'They're happier with my chores when I clean everything with my left hand first, then my right'.

'If I blink ten times before I go to sleep, it means they're more likely to let me sleep the whole night.'

'They don't get as mad if I only breathe through my nose'

I have a soft spot for whump so subtle that onlookers don't notice. The characters themselves might not notice, and even the reader might miss it at first. Someone's psyche is being destroyed right before our eyes and we're not aware until it's too late.

1 Whumper X Multiple Whumpees, but Whumper has a favorite Whumpee.

Fav!Whumpee who gets extra food, more rest, more water, preferable sleeping conditions, just more perks in general. Fav!Whumpee feels immense guilt for getting these things knowing full well how the other whumpees are being treated, despite knowing this Fav!Whumpee is too scared of Whumper to dare try to do anything to make themself not Whumper's favorite anymore. Fav!Whumpee knows that falling out of Whumper's favortism means a far worse fate than just becoming another Whumpee again.

Fav!Whumpee being forced to help Whumper torture the other Whumpees. Fav!Whumpee being forced to be the one to execute any of the other whumpees. Because of this Fav!Whumpee doesn't believe they deserve to be saved, they come to believe that they deserve all the torture Whumper inflicts on them.

At least some of the other whumpees see Fav!Whumpee as a Whumper. If Fav!Whumpee heard this, they'd agree, they stopped seeing themselves as a victim of this treatment a long while ago. They've convinced themself that the torture and abuse Whumper puts them through is just karma for the things they've done.

Being Whumper's favorite doesn't save Fav!Whumpee from Whumper's sadism, if anything they get some of the worst treatment of all the whumpees, their bruises and scars are just hidden under soft long sleeves, their bruises hidden under expensive makeup.

Fav!Whumpee is scared of rescue, because Whumper loves to remind them of all the things they've done to the other whumpees, and likes to tell Fav!Whumpee that they'd be going to prison just the same as Whumper for their participation. That no one would ever believe them in a court of law that they (Whumper and Fav!Whumpee) aren't a partnership, and that any court would believe that Fav!Whumpee is equally as guilty for the things Whumper did. Sometimes Whumper will (half jokingly) say that they'd insist that it was actually Fav!Whumpee who was the mastermind behind everything, this terrifies Fav!Whumpee.

Fav!Whumpee was once the most hated of Whumper's Whumpee collection, they were the weakest, slowest and as far as Whumper saw them, comepletely useless. There was infighting between the Whumpees (All the Whumpees are kept in a single cell with mutiple beds) and Fav!Whumpee was forced to kill another Whumpee in self defense, their method was particularily brutal (literally bashed their skull fully in), but only because Fav!Whumpee had no other options, and was fighting for their life, they knew this would only end with one of the two dead.

Despite how Fav!Whumpee insists that they didn't want to kill, Whumper refuses to believe them (or they fully know Fav!Whumpee is telling the truth, but chooses to insist otherwise), and instead claims they saw a "murderous passion" in Whumpee's eyes (Whumper had walked in at the tail end of the attack), and that Fav!Whumpee must've really enjoyed the act of killing. Eventually Fav!Whumpee is worn down, and begins to question if Whumper is actually right, that maybe Fav!Whumpee did enjoy killing.

Fav!Whumpee had always imagined (hoped, & prayed), that if rescue ever came, that they'd be shot and killed alongside whumper during the rescue because they don't believe they deserve rescue, but they know Whumper has to die, and they NEED to know whumper is fully dead before they themself die.

When rescue comes, Fav!Whumpee is the only surviver (this was by Whumper's design, Fav!Whumpee still blames themself for this).

Whumper may or may not have died in the explosion that killed the other Whumpees, the uncertianty of this eats away at Fav!Whumpee.

Part of me wants to actually write this story, but also that means taking on an entirely NEW story while I already have SO FUCKING MANY WIPs, with that being said, I doubt I'll be able to resist writing at least SOME scenes of this story because there's SO MUCH potential for whump here!!

I love the idea of Whumpee and caretaker being strangers when they meet post whump, caretaker never intended to be a caretaker, but they have to step up to the plate to defend and help Whumpee heal. Whumpee has no idea who this person is, they only have Whumper as a reference point as to how they [Whumpee] is supposed to be treated. Caretaker has to undo so much damage that Whumper did, all while having no real idea on how to take on such a monumental task, and with little to no outside guidance or support. So they have to figure it all out on their own, while hoping and praying that they don’t cause more harm.

Whumper using Whumper’s phobias against them. Afraid of the dark? Your punishment is being kept in a room with no light. Afraid of spiders? I’m forcing a tarantula to crawl on you. No matter what Whumpee is afraid of, Whumper will find out. And God help them when they have to be punished.

Whumpee is given to a friend (or relative) of whumper for a few days. Whumper and this friend haven’t always been on the best of terms, but it seems things have been getting better so whumper trusts them.

It’s not even an hour after Whumper leaves that their friend orders Whumpee into the back seat of their car and drives for miles with barely a word. Whumpee is tense, it’s likely they’re being stolen from Whumper, yet this could also be their chance at freedom. It’s only when the car pulls over on the side of an empty highway that Whumpee understands: Whumpers friend is releasing them, not out of kindness, but simply revenge against Whumper. Whumpers’ friend didn’t care if whumpee was safe, just that whumper lost their precious captive/pet/slave.

As whumpee watches the car drive away, they battle with the fact that even their freedom wasn’t their choice.
