Please don’t spread the name and face of the Charleston shooter, call him a white terrorist because that’s all he is, don’t give him the respect of learning his name or recognizing his face. 30-Day Kill la Kill Challenge Day 6: Favorite Pairing - Ryuko and Senketsu

Lately, Ryuko had been feeling ill. She thought it was some sort of flu virus that was going around, until she began to cough up blood and was in immense pain when the red claret appeared. Alarmed by the crimson liquid, she forced herself to go to the hospital, mainly due to how worried Senketsu had became. Convincing him to stay behind, the girl went on her own, not wanting to ruin whatever plans he had for the day. She went through many scans shortly upon arrival, yet they all came out clean. With the doctors confused by their discovery, they proceeded with blood tests in a room next door. A single needle pierced her flesh and entered her vein, and she bit down on the towel they offered to muffle her screams. Her fear of needles was still present, even to this day. After taking a sufficient amount, they bandaged up her arm and told her they would call once the results were in. Leaving the hospital, her own suspicions arose.

“There’s more to this, something’s wrong...”

Knowing what her past held, she immediately knew who to contact. Pulling out her cell phone, she unlocked it before searching through her contacts. “I, o, r, i,” she spelled out, and the phone highlighted the man’s name. Tapping the green button, she held it against her ear, impatiently waiting for him to answer. The phone then beeped, and another voice was heard on the other line.

“Hey, I need your opinion, well, help with something. I’ll be over in 30 minutes.”

A few hours later.

She came home, completely drained. No emotions could be read if anyone were to analyze her face. When the door closed, she was relieved when no one greeted her return home. It would give her a chance to bounce back from the news, though he came to mind immediately, which made her stomach churn.

“I can’t tell him...”

Her mind flooded with past memories, of their life together, everything they ever went through. She would be insane if she told him. Ryuko was almost positive that he would break upon hearing the news. She couldn’t cope with these sudden thoughts. It hurt like hell. It was like her heart was being ripped out again. Not wanting to deal with the pain, her mind turned towards the consumption of alcohol. She wasn’t one for drinking a lot, yet with her current state of mind, it sounded sort of pleasing. Forcing herself to the kitchen, she opened the fridge and pulled out a bottle of shōchū. It didn’t take her much time to open the concealed bottle, finding it rather easy. Leaving the wrapper and cork on the floor, she pressed the rim to her mouth and took a swig. It had a nutty aftertaste, which wasn’t so bad. Pulling it away, she walked over to the bedroom, wanting to be in comfort while drowning the pain away.
