Proving that the 118 isn't just a number. That they're at their best and most capable when they're all working together. Every last one of them. And that they're a family through and through no matter what.

jean and his lil peach has me emotional
I feel like I'm now fully convinced something is going to happen to Christopher with the pool at his grandparents house (maybe the reason he finally comes home?) Hot Priest asking Eddie if Chris is safe and he goes "of course he is, he's with my folks" like idk that feels like foreshadowing to me?? Also the kid falling down the pipe because a pool is being built??

the transition from people needing each other to wanting each other is literally one of my greatest weaknesses that shit makes me want to walk into the sea and sit on the ocean floor for a thousand years
like. characters whose entire self worth is based on how useful they can be to others, who think that they're going to be abandoned as soon as they're no longer necessary, being told by someone that they want them to stay and realizing that they have value to people in and of themselves and not just for what they can do for them will never fail to completely unmake me. like on a molecular level.
it's about the moment dependence becomes devotion
Avra Helvaci 🤝 Sam of Wilds = being the world's funniest little shits that I would protect with my life.
MAY MY QUEEN MY BELOVED HOW I MISSED YOU
one thing eddie diaz will do is look at evan buckley fondly ♡ for anon ♡
Not Buck mentioning karaoke TWICE in the beginning and being the WHOLE point of the bachelor party and then the producers/editors deciding THAT was the scene they needed to cut??
I am Jean Moreau. My place is at Evermore. I will endure. I am a Raven. My place is at Evermore. I am a Raven. If I am not a Raven, what am I?
- The Sunshine Court (Nora Sakavic)
It's so funny seeing the Trojans response to learning more and more about Evermore and the Ravens as outsiders with zero knowledge about the mafia involvement because they're all just like "yeah that's definitely just cult?? Are they okay over there??" Because it's such a normal response from normal people. While the Foxes (being all from broken homes with trauma) and knowing about the mafia involvement are like "yeah that tracks, they're still crazy but makes sense".
You know, it makes sense that a lot of the characters in 911 are queer in some way considering queer people tend to gravitate towards each other unknowingly and end up traveling in packs.
With all the talk of ships that were lost in the war of queerbaiting (destiel, merthur, johnlock) after 9-1-1 WON the war (half way, we're still getting there) I'd like to pour one out for the oft forgotten but maybe worst queerbait of them all (imo at least)

911 season 7, Episode 4: Buck, Bothered and Bewildered and Bisexual
We finally get to see two macho men being queer and open to dating each other without pretenses or this idea of it being wrong. This has been what I wanted for years now. And the fact that ABC did it no questions asked speaks volumes to me.
Buck kissing Tommy (a character who is literally a direct parallel to Eddie!!) is so funny because it's very much "he a little confused but he got the spirit" energy.
