She/Her || 19 || Absolute Idiot and Proud || ADHD || This is my Wings of Fire sideblog. My main and other side blogs are pretty inactive, so I won't bother linking to them. I mainly post (very bad) art, memes, and incorrect quotes. I have read all the books so far except Dragonslayer. I will tag anything to do with The Dangerous Gift: Dangerous Gift spoilers. If you want me to spoiler tag anything else, please let me know! This blog will probably be a bit of a mess, courtesy of my ADHD, but feel free to say hi, I don't bite!
SkyWings believe that wearing feathers from certain types of birds gives them good luck or skill in different aspects of their life.
Eagle for courage or leadership
Falcon for strength, agility, speed
Owl for intelligence, wisdom
Sparrow for productivity, creativity
Bluebird for charm, joy, friendliness
Swan for beauty, romantic success
They’re commonly given to dragonets by their parents, or between friends. They can be worn as necklaces or earrings, and some SkyWings like to sew them into clothing.
Fuck it. I'm GOING to be excited for the WOF show. You know why? Because I deserve to be excited for something. This year has been ever loving hell and I haven't had anything to look forward to in so damn long. Yeah it might suck- yeah it might be 3d animated instead of 2d animated. Yeah it might have bad voice actors, or making stupid story decisions or cut really awesome characters. But you know what? I don't care. It isn't out yet. And until I see a trailer, I am going to be so damn excited because it could be awesome. It could be amazing.
Netflix has made She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Loop and the Age of Wonderbeasts, Hilda, The Dragon Prince, and a whole lot of other amazing animated kids TV shows that had incredible story telling, character development, world building, and mature elements. And Marner Bros has made their own fair share of incredible adaptations of things including the Harry Potter franchise, which I believe are some of the greatest film adaptations of a book series I've ever seen. This isn't godamn Disney, (who made the Percy Jackson, Eragon, A Wrinkle in Time, and Artemis Fowl adaptations) these are companies and people who have at least given me the TINIEST BIT of good content.
So I'm going to be excited. I'm going to be so, so, so excited. And I'm going to get ready for a brilliant show. Will it suck? Maybe. But I am emotionally capable of handling being let down. You can have whatever opinions you want, that's totally cool. But for me? I'm just really really excited. :)
