Elen sĂla lĂşmennâ omentielvo! she/her, but I won't mind they/them. Send me an ask even vaguely related to LotR or Star Wars, whether it's a question or opinion, and I guarantee I have an answer. You can find me on AO3 at witchofpumpkinspice.

MY REQUESTS ARE CLOSED AT THE MOMENT, BUT FOR WHEN THEY'RE OPEN, READ MORE HERE.
About Me:
Call me Witch! You can find me over on AO3 here. I currently have 72 works on AO3, with more in the pipeline. I write mostly for LotR and the Hobbit, but you'll find the odd fic for Star Wars and a few others. My favorite LotR character is Faramir, whom I will happily talk about in great detail if asked, but I'm always down to discuss Tolkien (or Tolkien-related) things! Please share your headcanons and thoughts!
As previously stated, I love Faramir the most â so you'll mostly see content including him, Boromir, and Ăowyn here, and that's what I tend to write, too, so mainly Gondor-related content. If you have lots of opinions about Denethor, are a huge fan of Ăowyn, or if you could just pontificate about Faramir and Boromir's relationship for days, come yell at me!
That being said, Thranduil, Tauriel, and Legolas are great as well (not to mention Bilbo and Thorin ... yes, I love Bagginshield). I would be more than happy to be yelled at about them, too!
And Star Wars. Where do I start with Star Wars? I love all the nine movies in the Skywalker Saga. Anakin is my favorite prequel character; Luke, originals; Poe, sequels. Although, for the odd Clone Wars era, I love Anakin & Ahsoka.
Actually, I'll just make a list of all fandoms I'm down to discuss!
Lord of the Rings
The Hobbit
Star Wars (just the Skywalker Saga)
The Hunger Games
Pirates of the Caribbean
Pushing Daisies (TV 2007)
The Fall (2006)
Indiana Jones
House Rules:
I have no DNI! Please just keep hate/ship wars out of my blog. The only thing I'll say is that I'm proship, meaning that while I'm not a fan of certain darker themes in fanfiction, I'm never going to start harassing someone over them (proship not in the sense of "problematic ship," but that I support your right to ship problematic stuff even if I don't like it). Ship and let ship.
Everyone is welcome here. That's it. I hope this blog is cozy and safe for everyone.
As of right now, the only tag specific to me is #witch's fanfic, but that may change. Thanks for looking at my blog!
blood being frequently described as having a "coppery smell" in fiction is kind of funny considering that there is a metallic component to blood and it's not copper
in fact if your blood smells or tastes like copper you probably have more urgent things to worry about than it being outside your body. it's probably better that it's not inside you anymore actually.
story where blood is described as smelling or tasting "coppery" and it's actually early foreshadowing that all the characters are suffering from heavy metal poisoning
okay itâs me again. Iâm finally back! My sincerest apologies for saying I was going to send in a request and then straight up forgetting about it, exams are distracting lmao
anywayssss would you be willing to write a platonic fic of anakin x younger sister reader? Maybe heâs about 16-17 and sheâs around 14-15 ish and theyâve snuck out of the Jedi temple for a day to relieve some stress and just go wandering about coruscant for a few hours, popping into shops and such. if this doesnât feel like something youâre interested in writing feel free to disregard /gen :]
you had my back, I had your back
Of course you may, Anon! This was so fun to write, and I hope it's just as fun to read <3 My apologies for the delay! Had a bunch of life stuff going on, but I love sweet platonic fluff like this.

Right now, my requests are currently closed. That means that you can send me a request, but I make no guarantee as to how fast I'll answer; it could take me anywhere from weeks to months. But hey, the cauldron is always brewing!

Fic below the cut!
"Keep your voice down," Anakin hissed. "We can't let anyone hear us!"
"No one cares about your whining over Master Obi-Wan, Ani," you retorted, trying not to roll your eyes â at least, trying not to roll them too hard. "They're all here for actually important reasons, which we do not have. Who's here who can somehow tell him what we're saying?"
"Oh, you're such a stiff. This is even more important." Anakin pointed to an alleyway, and you squinted, trying to see through the crowds of people who made up Coruscant's Uscru District. "Come on, this way."
This time, you did roll your eyes, but didn't protest as you followed your brother towards the side street. "Remind me again why you suggested this?"
"Look, don't you want to have fun? This is fun."
"For you, maybe."
"I'm the one who got you here in the first place. I should have the first pick of where we go to, Padawan."
"Like you're not a Padawan, too?" you muttered.
"What was that?"
"Nothing."
On the other hand, though, the street around you was certainly something. Vendors of anything and everything from spare parts to street food hawked their wares to the hundreds of passerby, and behind them were smaller, run-down shops. There was music playing in the distance. There was laughter. There was joy. And, if you were Anakin, there was fun. "Not another mechanic's shop, Ani!"
"I won't be long." Anakin disappeared behind a curtain of metal beads, and it was all you could do to follow him through. "I'll buy you a snack afterwards. How's that?"
"How do you even have credits?" At this point, he was too busy examining a pile of metal that looked like speeder parts, which seemed like an awfully convenient excuse for him not to answer you. But that was no matter. You'd caught him sneaking out of the Temple to bet on street races before; it was a good thing you hadn't told anyone about that, otherwise you wouldn't be here today. Of course you'd threatened telling Obi-Wan, but never followed through.
Although it was hard not to feel annoyed as Anakin took his sweet time in examining every little nut and bolt in the decrepit hardware store. Each part had a myriad of uses, you knew that, but was it really necessary for him to scrutinize each one? What would he even use them for, anyway? The Order kept all of its machinery, everything from droids to starfighters, in near-perfect condition; nothing needed fixing.
Logically, that meant you could only come to one conclusion; this was fun.
Well, it certainly wasn't fun to you. To Anakin, maybe, but you would beg to differ. You were actually considering leaving on your own, maybe meeting him later â but no, that would be neither fair nor safe. After all, how would he be able to navigate the busy streets of Coruscant without you there? No, you would have to wait.
After what seemed like an age, Anakin's conversation with the owner of the store finally wound down, and he turned back to you. "I'm ready."
"I was ready ten minutes ago."
"I said I'd buy you something, didn't I? Come on, let's go."
You didn't need to be told twice as the two of you headed out once again into the busy street, the scent of smoke and frying food curling in the air around you. "So," you said, trying not to let a smile slip onto your face, "I have a question."
"Do I want to know what it is?"
"How come you have the credits to buy things?"
Anakin didn't freeze, or any of the somewhat-reasonable reactions that people in holodramas were always having, but his face did start to match the red of his stolen maintenance jacket.
"After all," you continued, "it's not like we're allowed to have any possessions. Which includes money. So â"
"Do you have a question, or do you just want to antagonize me?"
"I just want to know how you came into possession of money. It's the third time I've asked you, dear brother."
Rolling his eyes, Anakin didn't turn back to face you. "Well, little one, if it's benefiting you, why ask?"
"This is true," you had to admit, nearly bumping into him as he came to a sudden stop in front of one of the food stands. "Wow, puffed grain?"
"Well, you can't exactly get that in the Temple." Anakin stood up on his heels, trying to read the menu past the tall Quermerian in front of you both. "Regular or sweet?"
"Do you really think I'd want regular?"
Reaching down, he tugged your Padawan braid. "Too much sugar isn't healthy," he stated, doing a poor imitation of Obi-Wan's posh Coruscanti accent.
"Well, Master, maybe that's only true for someone of your age," you replied, trying to deepen your voice to sound like your brother; it was even worse than his mockery of Obi-Wan's voice, but Anakin laughed anyway as you moved up in line.
"I do not say that!"
"Pretty sure you do, Ani."
"Listen, I'm the one buying you a snack. You want to be nice to me."
"It's not just for me. You're going to end up stealing half of it anyway. So it's actually me you want to be nice to."
You didn't think he was going to respond â at this point, he was already ordering from the vendor â but apparently, wonders never ceased. Right after he took the cone of deliciously sweet-smelling puffed grain, Anakin turned to you with a smirk. "I don't steal. I liberate."
It was hard to keep a glare on when you couldn't help but smile, but you tried anyway as you snatched the cone of sugary grain from him. "Well, you'll understand when I liberate this, then."
Indeed, the snack was soon gone as you wandered through the market, occasionally stopping to check out other stalls â thank the Force Anakin didn't want to stop at any more mechanic's shops. And that was only the beginning. After all, where was the fun of sneaking out when you didn't even do that much?
No, you and Anakin would stay out for much longer. And, hopefully, you wouldn't incur Obi-Wan's wrath.
video game and film fandoms will come and go for me but the Silmarillion fandom will never die. because that book came out like 50 years ago and we're all still trying to figure out what the hell is going on there.
Star Wars really said "Anakin Skywalker had issues rooted in childhood trauma that was not his fault" but also "Anakin made his own choices as an adult for which he alone is responsible" but ALSO "In spite of the truly evil things he chose to do Anakin was still capable of being loved and redeemed" and I think that's important.
#he was traumatized but he still had agency at the end of the day#nobody forced anakin to side with darth sidious. he did that out of his own free will#regardless of how he felt about the jedi order
The Hobbit movies would have been vastly improved by going the same route as the The Princess Bride movie
Just constant cuts to the future with Frodo chiming in as Bilbo tells the story to be like âthatâs not how you told it when I was little!â and âwait, you never mentioned these orcs chasing you!â
And Bilbo hems and haws like âwell, I didnât want to scare the childrenâ etc and we see the same scene get replayed multiple times with slight variations as Frodo and Bilbo bicker about the details of what actually happened
(And then we can do an extra gut-punch at the end where Bilbo tells the little kids âyeah, the dwarves were all fine, nobody died, they recovered from their wounds and went on to rule the kingdomâ and maybe we get a glimpse of a universe where that happened⌠but Bilbo turns away as soon as the children are gone and stared out the window while he relives the truth all over again đ)
plus we could have seen the original version where Gollum just gave the ring to Bilbo as the prize in the riddle contest, and then have Frodo say "That's funny because Gandalf told me...." and then the true version, at which point Bilbo clears his throat awkwardly and looks at the ceiling.
picks up your ill and injured whumpee who has been left to sleep on the ground, regardless of how they ache to their bones and struggle to draw breath, and tucks them into a clean soft bed supported by plenty of pillows. btw
whatever it is you need good luck for, i wish you good luck. tests, job, home life, social life, mental health, physical health, love life. you name it. this post is wishing you good luck on all of that.
