I hate the way some of the fandon treats JJ, when they act like Hayden is Ally #1. Like, I understand the way JJ reacted wasn't the best, but I also partly understand his reaction. There's so many people who act like he's irredeemable, but he's just a guy upset that one of his best friends lied to him. Hayden (well, Jackie) guesses about Ilya and was told the truth. JJ wasn't exactly right but guessed similar and Shane let him believe that instead of trusting him with the truth. I understand you don't owe anyone a coming out, but I feel like JJ would have been on board as soon as he realized without the hurt to cloud his judgement.

Also, the clear winner of Ally #1 is Carter Vaughn, and I think that the only two reasons he doesn't get the same recognition is 1) people who have just watched the show and hasn't read the books and 2) racism.

I'm also convinced JJ would 100% encourage Shane to talk about his sex life and try to get him out of his shell and Hayden would pretend to be busy with something else because it would make him uncomfortable.
