A completely submissive and terrified whumpee, unless he has someone to protect.
"Please, please, don't hurt them. Take me, please!" He knows it's the right choice, he's used to pain, he can handle it better than them... but he can't help but shaking and step back when Whumper approaches him with a terrible, anticipatory smile.
"Oh?" Whumper raises an eyebrow. "I thought you wanted me to take you? Why are you stepping back?"
Whumpee stands frozen, unable to move out of sheer terror. "I..."
"Okay, guess I'll have to go with my original plan then."
"No!" Whumpee screams, "no take me, please I do want you take me."
This time whumper doesn't move. They just cross their arms in front of them.
"Well," they sneer, "Come here then."
Everything in whumpee is screaming not to move. Having to walk over to whumper willingly is somehow worse then whumper coming to him. His eyes dart around looking for a solution that doesn't exist
"I'm waitinggg," whumper taunts.
Whumpee takes a deep breath and takes a shaky steps forward. And another one. And other one. Until he stands right in front of whumper, shaking like a leaf.
He doesn't dare look up from the ground. It feels like he can't breathe, like there is no air in the room anymore. Even being in whumpers aura is terrifying.
"Good boy," whumper whispered. "Now look up for me, will you?"
Whumpee doesn’t want to. He does so anyway.
Two terrified eyes look into the the cold merciless ones of whumper. A hand reaches up to whumpees face and gently brushes a lock of hair to the side. Soft fingers, but to whumpee they might as well be burning. It takes everything inside of him to keep standing, to let this happen, to not step back.
"We're gonna have so much fun," whumper says without breaking eye contact.
The first slap lands hard on whumpees cheek without a warning.
Yeah, I'm the guy that all those fuckass writing prompts are addressing in the 2nd person. Yeah, all of them. It's fucking exhausting. Time and gravity and all sorts of other constants are always cutting in and out for unclear reasons and there are all these numbers over everyone's head, and any time I figure out what they correspond to there's some bizarre horrifying outlier number implying whoever I'm looking at is some kind of incredibly dangerous freak, and by the time I resolve whatever shitshow comes of that there's a whole new set of numbers over everyone's head that means something else. I tried to get an entry level job on a long-haul space freighter last week and every other member of the crew was from a different dumbass brain-dead alien species that treated every single behavior of mine as some worldview shattering paradigm upending signifier of human uniqueness, I couldn't tie my shoes or wipe my ass without them oohing and ahhing. Frankly the only thing stopping me from killing myself is that every time I do that I end up navigating some zany kafkaesque afterlife or playing some idiosyncratic game like Chutes and Ladders against Death for my soul. And if I throw it on purpose I usually just end up meeting the Author. The first time I had a really good speech taking them to task for their godly failures but after the second or third time it was just. I don't know what it was. I'm tired. I'm really tired. But if I go to sleep I'll die instantly or wake up in another life or something so coffee and uppers it is
“Okay, so to start off: the vampirism isn't a sex thing for me. No judgement for people who are into… that, but I literally just want to have dinner.”
“Alright.”
“You sure? Cause if you're about to leave the room and come back in with a white nightie and drape yourself romantically across my fainting couch with your neck and half your bosom exposed, then I'm going to ask you to leave.”
“It's fine.”
"Really. Cause again, it just isn't a thing for me. This is the way in which I eat, it would be like if every time you had a sandwich the sandwich awkwardly tried to have sex with you. Which, again, no judgement on the sandwich! Full respect for the sandwich! But I. don’t. Want. To fuck. The sandwich.”
“… I solemnly swear that both slices of bread will stay on at all times, and I won't even try to show you my mayonnaise.”
“Phew. Okay. Can I ask why you're doing this then?”
“You live in a giant fuck off mansion with like a bajillion rooms and servants. During the cost of living crisis. Give me some rooms rent free and a stipend for food and entertainment and you can drain me fuckin' dry for all I care.”
“Sure, I can work with that. You want the East Wing?”
The thing is that sex scenes actually are incredible ways to explore character. People are at their most vulnerable during sex! The way they have sex says a lot of very interesting things about their desires, obviously, but also their psychology, their vulnerabilities, their hopes and fears, etc. It is completely insane to me to think that sex scenes have no value other than to sexually excite the audience. And even if their only value is to sexual excite the audience - SO WHAT?? A movie is supposed to excite and entertain you! Grow up!!!
If Eshani was to write a journal (she doesn't, because she would worry of someone coming upon it), this would approximately be what it looks like:

The Day the Allaitri Chalice Got Stolen, 1734
This will be remembered as a day of history, one over three thousand years in the making.
All this time the Chalice was locked away, and for what? Bragging rights? A bargaining chip? A pawn in some agreement I never heard of?
The burden falls on me to find it. By sunset tomorrow a meeting will be called and I will face the questioning of my fellows.
How many of them knew? Did any?
I have much to answer for.
Both sides of the border now contend with this moment of history.
Arobyre reels of the skeleton’s damage, while we reckon with the Chalice’s theft.
I suspect Cl Lady Emar seeks the thieves to be put on trial, and thus I ought to seek information to prepare the case.
There are more immediate matters for my attention. But as to how I balance my heart’s desire with the new landscape, I will be figuring that out too.
I was but a hand’s length away. Twice.
To think I could have prevented the start of this cycle had I just got a hand to it —
There is no point in ruminating on an outcome that did not happen.
Tomorrow is another day.
I want more chronic pain whump. Give me a cocky, independent character who suddenly can’t walk because a sudden rain storm aggravated their old leg wounds and now they have to lean on a friend to get home. Give me a usually stoic character shaking with pain during a flare up. Give me a character who’s finally healed having their first bad pain day and abruptly feeling like they’re back at square one.
Something nobody prepares you for is that the better you get at writing the harder it becomes. beginners write freely because they don't know enough to know what's wrong. then you learn. and suddenly you can see every single flaw in real time as you're making it and you have to write anyway while your own brain is in the corner going "that's a weak verb. that transition is lazy. you've used that word three times." getting good at this is mostly just getting better at ignoring yourself.

Lots of writing advice on tumblr. It's been years since I've written fiction in a serious way, but I did write a couple of (bad) novels in my early 20's, a bunch of short stories, and also a few hundred thousand words of LARP writing, and I do have a bacherlor's of science in creative writing (lol).
From what I can tell, there are only three universally applicable pieces of writing advice:
Read a lot (mandatory)
Show your writing to people (mandatory)
Have something wrong with you in a way that is impossible to articulate except by writing a novel (optional)
This post is a huge PSA for anyone writing X Reader content
You may not think this post applies to you, but it does.
There is a massive issue with inclusivity and assuming the audience. I have seen and personally experienced, time and time again, that me and many others feel as if we have no place in fandom. This specific part of it has to do with the majority of "x reader" content out there. It is all written for a cisgender (mostly heterosexual) white woman audience.
Now, cis white women getting content made for them is OBVIOUSLY not the issue here. People write for their personal interests, and there is nothing wrong with that. We all know this, and we all enjoy a fun story with our favorite characters centering around us.
The main issue here is the mentioned women not tagging their content properly, refusing to tag their content properly, straight up lying in the tags or not tagging things at all.
Trans men, nonbinary people, trans women, gay men, disabled people, fat people, intersex people and many people of color or non-american readers are constantly left out of fandom space and forgotten entirely. I've seen hundreds of complaints about it, and it needs to be spoken about more. While I'm on specifically talking about the fanfiction part of it, it is a VISIBLE issue in every fandom space you could possibly partake in. I don't even need to explain to you the rampant racism and transphobia in the cosplay community.
And the fix is extremely easy! TAG YOUR THINGS PROPERLY. It is the easiest, simplest form of allyship one could do for the community, and it goes miles. However, a lot of you seem to not understand how to, even if your heart is in the right place.
How to tag your fanfiction for the general audience:
- Specify the gender of the reader. This goes MUCH farther than just what pronouns are used. I've read WAY too many fanfics that tell me it is gender neutral, only to be hit with nicknames like "princess", or to be told the intended reader loves dresses and wears a bra.
- In tags or a prior description, mention every nickname used for the reader and every possibly gendered descriptor. It's really not difficult, and doesn't take too long.
- If necessary, mention what style of clothes the reader is specified to wear. And if this applies as well, specify any highlighted personality traits you gave the reader.
- Specify the body of the reader. This also goes much farther than gender. "Afab" and "amab" don't exactly cut it. Many people are triggered by certain words connected to genitals, so specify what words are used for those as well! Also, if you are trying to write a gender neutral body, PLEASE specify whether it is entirely gender neutral or something is implied. Many say it is gender neutral, and then explain how the reader's body self lubricates, or even has a clitoris. Please do better than that.
- For the love of God, do not automatically feminize the "GN afab" reader you wrote without a warning, and PLEASE MENTION if breasts are even spoken of, let alone used for smut reasons. And do NOT refer to someone's body as having "fem" or "male" genitalia. just say vagina or penis, please.
- Specify what body type you had in mind. Many fat or even slightly chubby individuals need to look for fanfiction that specifically caters to them, because "neutral body reader" writers, tend to not make it neutral. If you have any specifics on whatever you have written for the body mentioned, do tag it!
- Specify what sort of skin tone or hair texture is mentioned, if at all. Many POC complain that they read neutral fiction just to find straight hair, pale skin, light eyes, and blushing faces to be mentioned. If any color of the body is mentioned at all, or anything is implied, do say so! This also can go for specific things you may not think about, like how long it takes hair to dry, how easy it is to brush, hairstyles and other things of the sort.
It may seem like a bit of a list, but this is really the LEAST you can do for your community. We are consistently forgotten and ignored anywhere we go, and the simple things like this truly mean a lot.
- If there is an implied location, or anything to imply a place of origin, it's best to be on the safe side and mention that if it feels important.
- Please tag if you put the reader through, or mention a past traumatic event. Casually putting the reader character through things like an abusive ex, abusive parents, bad home or work life, or something like a car accident can be highly triggering. tag your scenes thoroughly! This also applies to putting the reader insert through something like sexist comments, unwanted touching of any kind, and similarly negative situations.
I cannot tell you the amount of times I've turned to fanfiction as an outlet and an escape, as many others have, just to be jumpscared by my favorite characters misgendering me. It's truly a miserable experience knowing no place is actually welcoming to me, or in the very least accommodating for people who aren't like them. This post is NOT meant to shame or send harassment to those who are forgetful, but ignorance is never a good thing to uphold. No one is asking you to write for an audience you don't want to, we just want to KNOW who you are writing for. Assuming an entire space is all one demographic is never, ever a good thing.
If you need help writing for a demographic you don't fully understand, just ask people who are a part of it how they would! Look at how other writers write and tag their content, and listen to anyone if they have necessary critiques. I wish you all happy writing! :]
Reblogs are highly appreciated, as this message needs to be spread as far as possible!
All of this, to be honest. And not just with X Reader, just fandom in general. It's why I stopped writing for Victor Gideon.
The amount of asks I got where people were just being bigots cos I didn't adhere to their requests to the T. 'Why didn't you write the reader like this you idiot?' Because you didn't specify a gender and so I made it as inclusive as possible. I make them all as inclusive as possible unless a specific set of traits is requested, cos as a man who isn't feminine and isn't overtly masculine, I know the feeling of having no place to be, both in general spaces and fandom spaces.
Don't get me wrong, I got a lot of love for my writing, which I still treasure to this day, but the amount of asks that had backhanded compliments baked in were so insane. The most common one I got was 'I know you're a man so you won't understand some things' which is like, yeah, I get that, but do you need to put that? Second most common was getting anons egg posting in my inbox whenever I said I had no attachment to gender. Third were ones that would take aim at my issues. But that one serves me right, haha, I'm always transparent about my surface issues cos I don't want the stigma around scars (any type of scars) to keep being a thing, for any gender.
And since I stopped writing, I just simply realised that general fandom spaces aren't really that nice for me to be in, to be honest.

Bianca’s daily existence is fundamentally shaped by a complex interplay of Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD) and Obsessive Devotional Attachment, which function as invisible yet pervasive filters for her perception of reality. Her HPD manifests as an insatiable, structural need for the universe to mirror her internal intensity. She does not merely live her life, she performs it as a tragedy where every interaction must carry the weight of a definitive, dramatic turning point.
In her day-to-day life, this creates a constant state of high-alert hyper-vigilance. She is chronically unable to exist in a neutral emotional state, leading to sudden, jarring shifts between predator-like stillness and explosive, performative displays of grief or fury that leave her physically and magically drained.
Furthermore, her Obsessive Devotional Attachment to Sephiroth operates as a profound cognitive disorder that effectively erases her autonomy. Her day-to-day functioning is entirely tethered to his proximity or his perceived will, creating a debilitating separation anxiety that borders on the metaphysical. This obsession drives her as a compulsive defensive mechanism to ensure her emotional reality is the only one that exists for those around her.
When she is not in Sephiroth’s presence, she suffers from a sensory-deprivation-like state where her focus becomes fractured, leading to her staring into space and stars as she communicates telepathically with him.
On a physical level, Bianca struggles with a severe, invisible Neuro-Sensory Disorder caused by the violent integration of Jenova and S-cells during her time in Project N. The most prominent daily symptom is a chronic, debilitating Mako-Induced Migraine.
Because her celestial-demonic blood is fundamentally alien to the Planet, the ambient Mako radiation in Gaia—particularly in Mako-rich environments like the Northern Crater—acts as a persistent toxin to her nervous system. These migraines are not merely painful. They are hallucinogenic and static-heavy, causing her internal Red Thread connection to Sephiroth to spike with agonizing feedback.
On a day-to-day basis, she must utilize her reality magic simply to dampen her own senses, creating a permanent cognitive load that limits her ability to use her more expansive cosmic powers without risking a total catatonic collapse.
Beyond the neurological pain, Bianca exhibits a body dysmorphic rooted in her history of vivisection. The permanent surgical scar running from her flank to her breast serves as a focal point for a sensory disorder where she feels unstable or leaking unless she is actively wearing her Battle Regalia or utilizing her reality magic to mimic a human aesthetic. Her deep-seated fear of needles and medical equipment often triggers sudden, violent Abyssal leaks, where her shadow manipulation reacts instinctively to any perceived clinical environment.
