The Last Act Spoilers
Jax failing to deal with her trauma, along with internalized transphobia and misogyny, which lead her to pushing everyone away before ultimately ending herself is sadly not uncommon for a lot of trans women, especially for us older folk, born in the 1900s.
I'm Gen X and so many of my generation are missing, buried deep in the closet or even the ground from the hell we were raised through.
So while what happened to her isn't "good" representation in the fact it's not positive, it's good representation in that for many, it's all too accurate. It's good that we can now talk about these things out loud, instead of hiding in shame in the shadows as we did in the past.
For pride month, we not only celebrate the living, but remember how many are lost to the bigotry of the past (and still today), and how we are fighting to ensure no more are lost in the future.
