the thing about ofmd is that now queer people are going to hold all media to a much higher standard in terms of representation. like after literal decades worth of queerbait, david jenkins just dropped this beautiful show that healed us all so perfectly and said “what, like it’s hard?” and you know… it isn’t. it isn’t hard. and i’m not saying we were just laying down and taking the abuse from queerbaiters before, but i think now it’s gonna be so much harder for creators to do that to us again. and i don’t know about the rest of y’all, but i think that’s a really really good thing.
