||I was listening to 'We don't Talk Anymore' a little while ago... So, that reset theory.... Spoilers, of course. Please enjoy.|| I burned that image of her into his head. Her long brown locks cascading down her back. Her bangs falling before curious, hazel orbs and lightly brushing against her rosy cheeks. Her soft lips pressed together firmly, the corners of her mouth tugging down. We stood there for a long time, staring at one another. Questions zipped and zoomed around my head, but I couldn't choke out a single word. A sad smile graced her face and she began to shake with laughter, throwing her head back and showing the tears growing in the corners of her eyes. Her laugh grew quieter after a moment, reduced to small giggles, but still managed to bounce of... The walls? I took the moment to glance around and analyze my surroundings. There were no walls, just an endless darkness, topped of with tiled floors, black and a yellow-orange color that lit up. When I looked back at her, she went silent. "Luciel, you shouldn't be here...." She spoke in one soft breath. I gulped, anxiety crashing down on me. I opened my mouth, trying to think of anything to get rid of that miserable look on her face. ".... Is it bad for me to accompany you, milady?" She snickered and I forced a smile. "Moreover, what are you doing here? Scratch that, where is here?" "This," She paused for a minute, turning her back to me. "This is where we part ways." "Saeyoung, aren't you running out of options?" As if planned, a transparent screen suddenly appeared before me and begun spewing codes in words, with variables, and ending with a few bold words. 'Error. Error. Error. No script executable.' My eyes widened and I opened my mouth to call you to her, yet my words fell on deaf ears. My feet were rooted to the ground. I couldn't even reach out to her. "I'm sorry." She turned her head back to face me, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I wanted to stay beside you forever." My arms were forced down to my sides and I could feel the tears pouring out my eyes as well. 'I need to stop her. I don't know what's going to happen but I have to stop it.' "Saeyoung, did you know, I'll always love you? Did you know, that even if I'm pried away from you, you'd still have my heart?" She sighed, leaning over and wiping the tears from my eyes, but they kept coming. "You'll forget me soon.... But I want you to know that... That.." 'No, stop what are you-' "I died... So, so many times to just be so close to you.." 'Don't leave me! Please-' "But even so, I just wanted to thank you." 'God, please! Don't take her she's all I have!' "I love you so much, Luciel!" She smiled, kissing me gently, as if I would break otherwise. 'Oh my god, no! I'll do anything!' She pulled away and beamed at me, extending her hand, and on the tips of her fingers, a yellow box appeared that read 'RESET'. The space began to glow white, the room began to break apart into little cubes, she disappeared, and I blacked out. ----------------------------- "We're dating!" "Ah, congratulations!" My tears never stopped coming. I just got better at hiding them away. I saw as the albino threw his arms around her. The pain in my chest was unbearable. ----------------------------- "Seven, how do you feel about it?" I think... "Loving people..." I never stopped thinking of it. I never forgot that final kiss, that last smile, those last words. 'I love you so much, Luciel!' Sometimes I want to be alone. All those words become a thick mist that blind me. 'I wanted to stay beside you forever.' Sometimes I wish I could open my eyes and our legs would be tangled together, and she'd whisper a plea for more sleep. 'Did you know, I'll always love you?' I wish I could take her away, hold her in my arms, introduced her lips to mine again, and lay beside her. 'We're dating!' Then, those thoughts become static, the fog clears up, and I realize once again that even in that mist of memories, I'm alone. "Loving someone is selfish." 'I'm so sorry.... Was I not good enough? Did I fail you? Did I scare you away?' 'I'll do anything...' 'Please....' 'Don't reset...' 'I love you.'
