Whatever resolutions you’ve made for 2019, take a moment to re-evaluate them. So many resolutions are so unhealthy and negative. Let 2019 be the year you improve yourself without being mean to yourself. Start the year off positively, focusing on growth, not guilt.
Some good healthy resolutions for 2019:
-Appreciate the beauty of something impractical every day. Look at how lovely little things in your life are!
-Be soft to your body. It does so much for you! It’s squishy and warm and doing it’s best just for you!
-Say out loud every good thought, silently process your bad ones. Throw compliments around like confetti. And any negative thoughts you have are okay- don’t feel guilty, just work through it yourself or with a therapist.
-Pick something realistic you’ve wanted to do but told yourself it was too frivolous and do it. You deserve happy shit in your life, okay?
-Pick a skill you picture your future self having. Google it first thing tomorrow. Begin the first steps to acquiring it. Learn that language, play that instrument, pick up watercolors or tap dance or whatever you want! You got this!
-Finish that thing. That thing you started and told yourself no one will like. Finish it. Enjoy finishing it, and enjoy it once it’s finished.
Remember changing is about loving future you, not hating past you. 2019 is your opportunity to grow yourself! Take it! You deserve it!!!
