Oh you got me messed up 😭 I need to hear more about the snupin teen pregnancy or I’ll implode
Alright anon, I hear you >:D
(This is part two of this)
So, it’s summer, Severus is just laying around at home, trying to cope with the fact that he’ll be giving birth. He thinks about what to do, if he can still become a death eater like this- if he even still wants become one, endanger his child like this. He doesn’t know why he’s thinking this way. Of course he does! He’s sacrificed so much for this, hasn’t he? The thought of Lily doesn’t help his morning sickness, instead he’s throwing up again.
He thinks about Lucius, the man has been so nice to him, they send each other letters every now and then and Severus thinks he might truly care about him, even if all the topics always shift back to the Dark lord and when Severus will properly join and stuff like that. He thinks about him and whether he should tell him.
Maybe? I mean Severus doesn’t know how he’ll react. He definitely can’t tell him the father…while thinking about all this, Severus suddenly feels a sharp pain in his lower abandonment, he feels like he can’t stand on his feet right now and-
And there’s water running down his thighs. Oh Merlin.
Severus crawls over to the couch and tries to get at least a little comfortable, he’s suddenly terrified and feels like sobbing. The pain is unbearable and Severus just does his best to push. He pushes and pushes and pushes and the pain is just excruciating and-
This goes on for multiple hours, Severus isn’t sure how many. More than 4? Less than 8? He feels tired and everything hurts. But he keeps on pushing and finally finally the screams of a baby girl fill the room.
Severus…joins in, tears roll down his cheeks and he just cradles this little bundle of joy in his hands. He hadn’t even realized how relieved he was that she’s healthy and breathing. Warmth floods his chest and Severus just keeps on crying.
He names her Eileen-Jane Snape. Eileen has beautiful black hair like her father and grandmother but her eyes are her other fathers.
The month passes and before Severus knows it, it’s almost September. School starts in 7 days and he’s yet to have written a letter to either Dumbledore or Lucius.
He’s been lucky too thought. Tobias hadn’t noticed Eileen at all. Well, there was a close call a few days ago, she’d started crying just as the old drunk came in. Severus was able to calm her down thought and thankfully Tobias hadn’t noticed.
Severus eventually sits down after Eileen is asleep and starts writing his letter.
Dear Professor Dumbledore,
I am writing to you with a matter of the utomst gravity and personal difficulty. I have recently given birth to a daughter, and I am now faced with an impossible situation. My deepest desire is to continue my education at Hogwarts, but I cannot do so without my child.
I understand that this request is extraordinary and likely unprecedented. I am not asking for special treatment, but for a chance to prove that I can fulfill my duties as a student while caring for my daughter. I am prepared to make any sacrifice, follow any rule, and accept any condition you deem necessary to make this possible.
I ask that my daughter be allowed to stay with me, since she is my responsibility and my world, I also beg for her presence at Hogwarts to be a secret and for it to be unknown to the other students. I will ensure her presence does not disrupt the school, and I will take full responsibility for her well-being. I beg you, Professor, to consider my plea. My education at Hogwarts means everything to me, and with your guidance, I believe I can succeed as both a student and a parent.
The response came back a day later
I shall say that your letter has greatly surprised and perhaps even shocked me. Firstly, congratulations on the birth, secondly; I will be honest, I am a curious man and while I would like to hear the details of the story behind your daughter, I fear that I know that you wouldn’t answer my questions.
The idea of your daughter staying with you at Hogwarts— for a newborn to stay here at this castle— is a very thought provoking one. And I have thought about it.
Usually such a request would automatically be denied, but since you are in your last year your letter has convinced me. You obviously are a very talented student, and you care about your grades too. So you shall be allowed to take your daughter with you under the condition that, like you’ve promised, you’ll take full responsibility for her and that her presence won’t disturb the school. The staff will be informed of your situation and you shall get a single person dormitory with a nursery. Keeping her a secret will be your responsibility as well, the staff will act like she doesn’t exist but that will be it.
I wish you a good seventh Year,
Severus is satisfied, honestly, he hadn’t fully expected to be allowed to take Eileen with him. But he can. He’s allowed to. She’ll be with him, every step of the way.
So the days pass and September arrives. Severus had bought a cheap pacifier a week before Eileen’s birth and currently that’s whats keeping her quiet. He’s holding her under his robe, trying his best to hide her.
He quickly gets on the train and tries to hide from Potter and his idiotic friends (and most importantly from Remus.) The world is a cruel place thought, because, like the mutt he is, Sirius Black stares Severus directly in the eyes the moment he gets on the train.
Severus tries to turn around and go to a different cabin, away from Black, but the guy is simply too fast. Just as he pulls out his wand, about to hex Severus, Lily Evans and James Potter appear. It seems Potter and Black share a look and Black stops.
Apparently the look means ‘not in front of Lily’. Tch. Assholes.
Severus quickly finds himself an empty compartment, before he has to look at Lily (or before Remus appears as well) and spells it shut. He pulls out his baby and cradles her.
Eileen looks at Severus with big eyes, spits out her pacifier and looks like she’s about to cry.
“Oh, no, Eileen, please baby, please don’t cry, not now…I’m sorry, were you hot under my robes? Don’t cry, please…”
Severus eventually manages to calm her down when he realizes what she wants- milk.
Right, that part of pregnancy and giving birth. Since the pregnancy he’s developed a small chest. It’s really small, barely an A-cup maybe, all so he can nurse Eileen. It’s strange and Severus hates thinking about what his body has developed for this tiny life.
A few hours later, after Eileen’s fallen asleep, Severus put a silencing charm on the cabin and leaves (he locks it thought). Eileen’ll be fine for a few minutes…he’s just gonna use the loo. And of course on the way to the toilet he comes face to face with the person he really doesn’t want to be face to face with right now.
Remus stares at Severus, he seems uncomfortable but also there’s something else as well. Severus begs him in his head to just stay quiet and go away, but of course he does the exact opposite and starts talking to him.
It’s awkward and Severus just wants to use the loo. He asks him if he’s alright and how his summer was and Severus almost tells him that he spent the summer GIVING BIRTH TO REMUS’ DAUGHTER. But he doesn’t.
Instead he tells him that it’s none of his business and tries to leave. But Remus holds onto his wrist.
“Severus- wait, please. I-,” He looks away, like his eyes search for something behind Severus, before they find their way back to his eyes. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, really, I’m sorry for failing that test, but please, it wasn’t real. After all you aren’t pregnant. That’s what matters!”
Severus just stares at Remus before a small disbelieved laugh escapes him, “Yeah,” he broke the grip, “I’m not pregnant.”
“Exactly, so please…can’t we just go back to how it was…?
“Remus. You’re telling me you’re gonna leave me if I get pregnant, but you still want to be back to…whatever the hell we were? Is that right?”
They kept arguing for a few more, but eventually Severus got sick of him and pushes him out of the way to use the toilet (not that Severus is fully in right either. He also said some really hurtful shit.)
Severus uses the toilet and goes back to his compartment. Eileen is still sleeping, he’s glad, he wouldn’t want her to be scared and waking up all alone.
