If you have a problem with the fact that we, a great deal of authors and content creators who are LGBT+, exist on earth in general,
then we don’t want you on the site or reading our shit because you think we shouldn’t be allowed to exist as humans in the first place and then you turn around and claim to enjoy the content we make. No one’s saying you can’t like an SCP and hate its author, but a) what the fuck is wrong with you if you hate someone because their identity is different than yours and b) creators have every right to be uncomfortable with bigots consuming their media so don’t flip your shit when they tell you to get away from their stuff

OP is a site administrator and while he cannot literally make a site rule excluding bigots, he can enforce site rules that kick them off as soon as they reveal that they’re bigots. He is telling you to watch what you fucking say, because this is our space in the fiction we created and he moderates the place in which it is discussed. If you spout bigoted bullshit on the wiki, you will get banned. No one is telling you that you can’t be a bigot internally or elsewhere on the ‘net or in your socially conservative echochambers, but you better keep it on the down-low around SCP content creators, because having a problem with people based on unchangeable aspects of who they are and how they exist on a planet shared with you is objectively shitty whether you are on the internet or in a cafe eating lunch and no one wants objectively shitty people around in a positive creative environment
So if you are homophobic, transphobic, commit bi erasure, believe that ace people are not part of the community, or any of that other bullshit…
So if you’re going to consume content made near-entirely by authors who are either queer or allies, and then claim you’re a fan of the content they made while simultaneously saying that the author of the content should be in the closet, dead, behaviorally reconditioned to not be queer anymore, or any of that shit,
then we don’t want your disgusting presence in our community, because our community is a space friendly toward people who are treated like shit for being who they need to be, and we do not want people who are fundamentally opposed to our existence anywhere near our shit.

We fucking made it, and we do NOT have to put up with bullshit from people who contribute nothing to the community except shitty politicization of the creators’ identities. We are not TV producers. We do not have to pander to your demands. This is a private noncommercial wiki where we do what we want and if you don’t like it you leave. (Typically, the type of people who are against OP’s post are also ~supposedly~ supporters of free speech and expression, as well as the rights of private groups to control their environment regardless of what people say about it, so maybe rethink your own philosophy if you meet those criteria.) We are more than allowed to tell you to fuck off with that shit, and if you think “queer people feel safe here because it’s one of the few places on the Internet where they aren’t harassed endlessly, so go away if you’re one of the people who harasses them or thinks standing up for the victims is meaningless” is some sort of edgy or controversial statement in the slightest, you are the special snowflake in this picture and you need to get over yourself.
Ducky is more than welcome to correct me if I conveyed any of this wrong, but the concepts at play here are pretty simple. And it’s honestly cringeworthy that some of you are looking at this post on the same Internet you use to read about queer people getting shot up in nightclubs and Trump trying to kick trans people out of the military and then wondering why OP thought this post was necessary in 2018. Read the fucking news and ask yourself why safe spaces are needed for these people in this day and age.

TL;DR: If you have a problem with me existing, and if you have a problem perceiving me as a human being with rights, and if you have a problem recognizing that there are people who want me dead or worse because of uncontrollable aspects of who I am, you can get your nasty hands off of my art.
