One correction:

The old lady is not in her home. She is at work. She's meant to be what in Italian is called "la portinaia", aka a cross between a doorwoman and cleaner of a residential building. She's in her small "office" space, at the entrance of the building, from where she can survey the coming and goings of the inhabitants. It's a job that has mostly disappeared, but is culturally very clear to us as having the connotation of "potentially gossipy, one-million-percent judgmental woman who sees everything that goes on in the apartment complex, knows everyone and their secrets, and has Strong Opinions™️".

In this case, thankfully, the Strong Opinion™️ is that those two men are ridiculous with their teeny tiny flag for ants.

⚠️ TUMBLR SCAM WARNING!!! ⚠️

Just a heads up in case anyone else receives a similar message.

I was recently contacted by someone claiming they had mistakenly reported my account because they believed I was involved in a scam. They later shared a screenshot of what appeared to be a Tumblr support email featuring my username and profile picture.

After looking into it and contacting Tumblr Support, this appears to be a known phishing scam that Tumblr is already aware of.

The scam may involve:

Someone claiming they accidentally reported your account

Screenshots of fake Tumblr emails showing your username/blog

Claims that your account is under investigation, at risk of deletion, or needs to be "verified"

Requests to contact a supposed Tumblr support agent, often on Discord or another platform

If you receive a message like this, please be cautious and do not provide your login information or contact unofficial support accounts.

In my case, another mutual received the exact same message from the same user, which suggests the account may have been compromised and is being used to spread the scam.

If you're unsure whether a message is legitimate, contact Tumblr Support directly through official channels.

Please reblog even if this hasn't happened to you. A mutual and I encountered the same scam account, so there are likely more people receiving these messages.

About DRAGONS in my world.

Dragons are reptilian, fire breathing creatures that come in different shapes and sizes. They are all inherently magical and intelligent, but animalistic and dangerous.

Dragons are greedy and known for keeping hoards of treasure. Most commonly this is minerals and metals or some form of currency, but some will gather other items, or even people, if they see any worth in them.

Most dragons are omnivores and carnivores. Very few are herbivores.

They are spread out all over the world. Different species living in every type of habitat, in every type of climate. Most commonly in forests, mountains, caves and deserts. They always make their nests far away from people, in secluded areas.

There’s seven types of dragons:

Dragon, Wyvern, Amphithere, Wyrm, Lindwurm, Lung dragon, and Drake. 

These are all considered dragons, just different types. There are many species of dragon that can be sorted into the different types. Most common ones are red, green, blue, yellow, black, and white. Rarer ones are bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. (Bigger pic)

For example: Norael is a species of Blue Mountain Drake, which is a type of Drake. There are also a couple of sub-types, listed here below. Sub-types are unique types of dragons, usually mixed in with some other creature or the result of a mutation.

Some drawings of my Shepard sisters. While my main of the three is Calypso 'Cal' Shepard, she's the twin sister to Penelope 'Penny' Shepard and older sister to Elizabeth 'Liz' Shepard. In this I have done hair progressions from the beginning of the current series to the end (ME1-Me3). I've also added different dresses for the Citadel DLC because I don't really like the dress

Cal gets together with Kaidan in Mass Effect 1, though they are separated due to events in Mass Effect 2, they become an item again in Mass Effect 3. After the events of the end of the game, the pair wind up having one daughter; Nora and identical twin boys; Alexander and David. Cal jokes that his Canadian genetics beat the living shit out of hers as all their children look nearly identical to their father.

Penny initially starts a relationship with Liara in Mass Effect 1, though it fizzles out by the time the events of Mass Effect 2 start. She then begins a relationship with Garrus shortly before the events of Mass Effect 2 (she was in Omega during his time as Archangel). In Mass Effect 3, they start a relationship with Tali as well and become a throple. They eventually adopt two children, a human girl; Lilith and an asari; Selane, and have three children later on a quarian; Han'Samma, a turian hybrid; Metius, and a human boy; Gabriele. They do not explain how that happens as they feel it really isn't anyone's business.

Liz eventually becomes involved with Liara, though it isn't until Mass Effect 2. Initially working in the embassies in Mass Effect 1, she leaves the Citadel and by Mass Effect 2 is on Illium working for Liara. The two start their relationship then, though for a long while Liz feels that Liara is settling for her because she couldn't get with Cal or Penny. The two eventually work their problems out. They eventually have two daughters Falis and Asha. Some people wonder if Feron is involved with the pair, but the two neither deny or agree with that observation.

Y'all, Please Do Not Do This To Your Cats Because Of Tik Tok Advice.

Don’t Do This Period.

Turmeric powder isn’t healthy for cats. When dosed incorrectly it can cause clotting dysfunction, especially in cats.

They will lick it off their fur and ingest it.

Please don’t do shit to your animals because you think it’d be aesthetically cool. They’re animals, they’re not dolls, they’re not your accessories. They’re living beings and you’re supposed to be taking care of them.

This post on Twitter got over 121k likes and only a fraction of people are bothering to mention the safety and health of the animal. It’s not funny, it’s not a “bumblebee”. It’s cruel and it’s giving out false, harmful information.

If you can’t afford treatment for fleas and are looking for a cheaper option, get a flea comb.

Put your animal on a counter near the sink, or on a container next to it. Fill up your sink, slowly, you can add a bit of soap, and brush the fleas out and flick them off into the water to drown.

Watch out for em trying to get up the sides, but you can use the water that’s still flowing to knock them back down and drown them. The soap makes it harder for them to get into the water itself and get near the edge of the sink.

It’s time consuming and you’ve gotten do it multiple times every couple of days, but it’s worth it.

My kitty, Tuffy, is allergic to flea spit and I use a comb on him a lot when we’re broke and unable to afford the treatment at that time. That’s the process I use.

And if your cat likes being brushed, they’ll likely enjoy it and realize it’s a reoccurring thing you’re doing after a while and it’ll be a bonding experience for y'all.

Just please, do research and don’t just do random home remedies that you get recommended on Tik Tok. There’s a lot of false information out there and it’ll hurt your babies. And if you’re really unsure about the safety of something, please call the vet and get the opinions of the license professionals who know more about this. ❤️
