I didn't want to talk about this yet, but I'm behind on commissions and pending posts on Patreon and social media, so I'm just posting to let you know that my sibling has been in the hospital for several days due to what appears to be a hereditary illness. They're doing better now, but I'll be their caregiver until we can go home. That’s why I’m leaving my Patreon link here. If you’d like to buy a One Piece BL comic or commission some art, you’d be helping me a lot to cover transportation and food costs (the hospital covers the rest, but I don’t know how many more days we’ll be here).
The concept of Zoro focusing on love only after achieving his and the crew's dreams
Luffy was king, he was the world greatest swordman, Robin knew everything about the Void century (without this, there's no One Piece), Usopp had become a great warrior of the sea, so he basically did what he wanted. Yes, they still had to sail the world together. The Sunny still hasn't sailed on every seas, thousands maps were still to be drawn, hundreds of illiness waiting for a cure, Laboon was still waiting, and the All Blue was still a legend.
The swordman had played his part, and he was there to support his friends. But he did was he wanted. He was the strongest, no one with a blade could pretend to be above him anymore, and his captain was wearing the crown. So he could focus on the third thing he wanted the most: the cook. He was going to marry this man, no matter the time it would take.
Now that he wasn't busy training all the time, he didn't feel the need to nap as much, and so he had waaayyyyyy more time to go and try to woo this blond idiot. It was a surprise to everyone how much time Zoro was now spending in the kitchen, despite their cook's numerous tentatives to kick him out. They would still argue and bicker, but nopw the swordman would always side a flirty edge to his tone or a suggestive remarks in between insults that make Sanji's brain stop and go HUH???? It really was like the mosshead had noting better to d- oh. Right.
Of course that's not where their adventures stops, the Strawhats still fought absolutly huge battles and went off to live semblants of normal days in the rare calm islands they could find. Life goes on, the wings of the pirate's king still fight side by side. The existed with the rest of crew when they were at sea, Zoro's eye didn't narrow to see only Sanji, it would never. And again, he does his best to pull the pervy cook in his direction.
Sanji as first is...confused. What game was this stupid swordman playing? Why did he seem so needy out of a sudden? Why was he looking at him with those eyes? He told the fucker to fuck off more than once, but the man was stubborn, that wasn't a secret. And he actually started to...like it?
The two had fallen into a strange but comfortable routine, they'd spend the days together, hum the same songs when they were alone in the kitchen, stargaze together during Sanji's watches, Zoro would ruffle his hair and Sanji would get mad, at least until the swordman actually learns how to take care and style his blond hair. Zoro would actually learn so hygiene as well, the cook figured after finding most his laundry done and folded out of laundry days without asking anyone beforehand. Anytime he entered his room, he's find a glass of water next to his bed, and the swordman was always around when he was tired, for some reasons.
"Some reasons" that everyone else figured out. The longing and the love in Zoro's eye shine so bright, it's a mystery how Sanji still hasn't been blinded by it. His gaze was always soft when he looked at the cook, even when they were butting heads over something stupid or fighting back to back during a battle. After the Sabaody fiasco, expression rarely looked so relaxed, now it was his default state when he was turned toward the cook.
Not only that, but there are other signs. Fingers brushing against each others as they walk by each others, them both now being attached by the hip, Zoro carrying a lighter in his haramaki at all times, them stitting together at every meals, Zoro teasing him at every given occasions, mocking him because "it's such a shame a pretty boy like you can't even get a girl"...Oh, the swordman's intents where clear.
But what about the cook??? At first he was surprised by all the steps Zoro was taking toward him, blaming it on boredom now that the man has reached his greatest goal. But no. He was only like this with him, and he wasn't being that annoying??? Oh he wasn't blind, and he mostly wasn't insensitive to Zoro's advances. It felt good to have someone look at him like nothing else matters, like spending time with him was a blessing.
He fell slowly, so slowly he didn't even notice. Or maybe he was already on the edge before, and this pushed him down the right amount. Soon enough he was looking forward to whatever praise the swordman was going to give him next, to their alone time under the stars, to getting the next island to buy Zoro some good sake. His heart races when their eyes meet, his knees become weak when he catches the swordman staring or smiling at him. What was this feeling?
He knew soon enough. It was late at night, they were both out on deck and he was smoking, the mosshead lit his cigarett. They were talking about all ans nothing, unusually calm, until the All Blue was brought up. Sanji couldn't shup up. He looked so happy, Zoro vowed to not die before they took him to this legendary sea. After he was down, his smile was already carved on his face, wide and bright, Zoro was still silent. He drank his words but said nothing, and without a sound took the cook's hand and to his confusion, brought it to his face.
His single eye was staring into Sanji's visible one and-oh, red looked so pretty on him. He pressed his lips to the back of his hand, the contact sealing a promise yet to be made. "I'll take you there". Oh, they could both tell this meant well more. After finding the All Blue, they'll get together, it was cristal clear.

The day they found it, was the best day in Sanji's life. The cook was bent over the railing, so was the rest of the crew, in tears. They were all cheering for him, all as amazed by the shine of the water, transparent and filled with spieces of creatures they never saw before. In a blink the cook was out his vest and jumping in head first. He was soon followed by Usopp, Luffy, Chopper, Brook...wait.
Franky was crying about all super this all was, while Robin caught the skeleton before he hit the water. Nami was yelling at how stupid their captain and doctor were- right before they emerged again, carried by the two others. Usopp laid Luffy back on the deck, a second later Sanji was also coming back with Chopper on his shoulders. As the two were recovering from their little trip in the water, the blond snapped his head toward the swordman. God, he is more radiant than the sun.
In a few swift steps he was in front of him, and before he could even process what was happening two lips came crashing into his. This eye widened, even more so when he felt two arms wrapping around his neck. He instinticvely passes his around the cook's waist, one hand slowly sinking on this hip he spent so many nights dreaming about.
Hey! I’m the age of some of your moms and aunts and the OG version of this post helped me catch my cancer in 2023. I had a hysterectomy at the beginning of 2024 and I’ve been cancer-free since then. If I hadn’t read this information, I wouldn’t have reported bleeding to the next doctor I saw. I might have died, and I probably would have had to undergo chemo and/or radiation, both of which I avoided.
genuinely one of the saddest parts of this new era of the internet is how hard it is to rick roll someone now. with people's attention spans shortening so much, they wouldn't even get through the first few bait seconds before clicking off the video. like i saw a comment that ended with "btw i made all of this up" and the replies kept treating it so seriously because none of them finished the entire 4 sentence comment. and We're no strangers to love You know the rules and so do I (do I) A full commitment's what I'm thinking of You wouldn't get this from any other guy I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling Gotta make you understand Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry Never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Remember that Zoro has canonically a blood kink? He enjoys not only licking his own blood but also the blood of his enemies that stain his sword. And who often gets nosebleeds? Sanji!
So imagine those two fighting and suddenly Sanji gets one of his nosebleeds - which lately happen around Zoro auspiciously. Some of his blood lands on Zoro's face and Zoro licks it without thinking much of it. Then the Sanji.exe. stops working.
jkjkkj i can’t sleep & i guess this crawled somewhere in my brain & went off on its own journeyyy 🩸

Zoro comes in hard, Wado sheathed but still deadly, not testing distance so much as decimating it. Sanji meets him step for step, shin cracking the flat of the sword as sheer momentum pretends to be grace. He twists for the follow through - too fast, too close - and the snap at the bridge of his nose lands bright and mean. Heat floods and blood jumps his lip, an arc of it painting Zoro’s cheek.
Zoro freezes like he’s been cut short mid-race, a hitch of attention like a predator sighting a new toy in the dark. He runs his knuckles through the streak and drags it across his tongue, jaw working like he’s cataloguing the weight of it and - Sanji goes cold and hot in the same second, horror flooding his guts, before the want slams into it and makes something new, something sharp. A laugh climbs his throat and dies, strangled by the way Zoro’s eyes hold him like one of his hilts.
“You done?” He manages. The line between what the fuck and do it again is a hair’s breadth and god, he doesn’t want to know where he’d fall.
Zoro breathes, ragged. He smiles without teeth, red shine at the corner of his mouth that refuses to read as a joke. “Never.”
They move again, faster, meaner, Sanji throwing kicks that should be warnings but end up being dares, Zoro’s strength taking no prisoners. They collide chest-to-chest, separate, orbit, collide again. Wado hisses past Sanji’s cheek and the kiss of wind after it feels like a threat.
A sharp backhand opens Sanji’s nose again and Zoro’s thumb is there absurdly fast, smearing the fresh flow under Sanji’s nostril, pressing deliberately at the dip of his jaw where pain makes people pliant. “Call it,” he hisses.
“Not a chance,” Sanji spits and then he does the stupidest possible thing: he bites Zoro’s thumb, just hard enough to take skin.
Zoro’s inhale is obscene. He doesn’t yank away, just watches Sanji hold him there with a look on his face that says he’s found a cliff he wants to jump from. When Sanji rears backward Zoro lifts his hand and sucks his own blood from the bite like he’s been waiting years to be given permission.
Sanji laughs once, sharp and shocked, and jerks high to drive a knee into the other man’s ribs. Zoro cops it and steps into him anyway, shoulder cutting across Sanji’s collarbones, weight a controlled avalanche. Wado pins Sanji’s wrist to the rail and Sanji’s heel plants on Zoro’s thigh like a dare. Somewhere, a bird yells. Somewhere, their crew would be horrified.
There isn’t a somewhere here.
Zoro angles Wado with just enough edge to bite. “You ready to quit or do I need to make you?”
Sanji bares his teeth. “Try it.” He palms Zoro’s jaw and shoves, a rude kiss of heel to bone that makes the other man’s head tilt until Zoro’s grin shows, feral quick.
They break in the same breath, like two hands letting go of the same rope, and fling themselves back into motion. The rhythm turns to ritual: Zoro’s hand at Sanji’s hip to pivot him where he’ll kick best. Sanji’s foot on Zoro’s thigh to vault past only to be dragged back by the grip at his belt. Wado across knuckles. Elbow to ribs. Zoro’s eyes, quick and intent, making a map out of Sanji’s mouth.
They go ugly: elbows, forearms, knuckles. Zoro hooks behind Sanji’s knee - Sanji takes the fall and rolls, palm skidding on deck floorboards and back up with a roundhouse before the lantern light catches up. Zoro follows with predator focus, eating space until Sanji has to choose between yielding or giving something else entirely, and finds himself driven to the floor instead.
Zoro’s hand catches Sanji’s wrist and pins it to the deck while the other clamps at Sanji’s jaw, thumb tracking his face with bruising restraint, picking up the last smear of blood. The lantern cuts Zoro into planes as he licks his thumb clean, highlighting his cheekbone, throat. The hard line of attention that means he’s already decided and is done waiting to see if the world agrees with him.
Sanji stares up at him and thinks yes and no and please all at once. His free hand drags the back of Zoro’s neck down until their foreheads hit and it feels like sharpening a knife. He turns his head and earns a line of split-second friction - Zoro’s bloodied mouth almost at his - before he speaks against the corner of Zoro’s jaw.
“You’re insane,” he manages, breath hot. Every measurable part of him wants to recoil in disgust and the rest wants to step in and see what happens to the shape of Zoro’s mouth when it’s his blood there. Fear and heat spike together so hard they feel like the same thing, braided so tightly he might never peel them free.
The growl Zoro swallows is a living animal, rumbling against Sanji’s teeth through bone. “Call it.”
“Fuck you,” Sanji snaps and surges, knee to hip, teeth bared close enough that the heat of it is it’s own weapon. Zoro laughs in his throat, short and wrecked, and the sound lands so low in Sanji’s spine he nearly staggers with it.
Zoro plants himself a blade’s width away. His mouth is a mess. He hasn’t wiped it; Sanji knows he isn’t going to.
Sanji lifts his chin because dignity is a habit he refuses to break, even now. “Finished?” he forces, aiming for disdain and hitting somewhere that sounds like he’s short one lung.
“No.” He leans in, not touching, voice dropping to the back of Sanji’s neck all the same. “But deck’s public.”
Sanji smiles, mean and small because anything larger would be some kind of surrender. “Then take it somewhere private,” he says and means if you dare.
Zoro’s mouth curves, hungry and disciplined. “One more round?”
“One more round,” Sanji agrees, breathless, and then they’re moving again, the kind of fight that narrows the world to angles and timing and whatever will live under their skin when they stop pretending.

hmmm maybe one day i’ll manage something soft & cute but! i guess not today!
odysseus absolutely does present a threat to penelope if he perceives her as at all unfaithful, and i feel the unfairness of this, and i think people tend to undersell how much tension at least potentially exists between odysseus and penelope. but i'm also like. his reaction, all speculation aside, his actual reaction in the odyssey to her flirting with the suitors is delight, because he immediately ascertains that she is running a con. sorry that they're so in-sync in spite of the forces that try to drive a wedge between them, including their own misgiving hearts. sorry that they invented homophrosyne ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
King of the Hill is back! Don't forget Jonathan Joss (John Redcorn) didn't just die he was murdered for being gay and married to a trans man.
The next hearing for his murderer is August 18th I think. They asshole is more offended that he's being called a homophobe (he has a gay brother gasp!) than murderer (which isn't even in question he confessed immediatly and there were at minimum 5 witnesses)
The media tried to blame it on Joss’ past mental health and addiction issues. He's somehow also supernaturally strong and big and scary and that's not racist at all says white cops.
Please don't forget him. He was so proud and excited for king of the hill. You don't deserve to be murdered because a white dude says u need to die
A Two Spirit Indigenous Man was brutally murdered. And mainstream media has already forgotten about it.
I haven't seen a lot of people outside Native circles posting about Jonathan Joss since Pride month, and I really hope that changes.
Because his murderer Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez and Alvarez's friends and lawyer are already trying to spin this. Suddenly he's the "alleged" and "accused" murderer, despite the fact that the murder was witnessed by multiple people and also he confessed. But he's out on bond, ON MURDER CHARGES, and suddenly the news has all sorts of stories from anonymous sources about how Joss was dangerous and unstable, that he had a history of substance abuse and mental health issues that apparently make him an acceptable target for—and I really cannot emphasize this enough—MURDER. He used to go outside and scream sometimes so it was self-defense to shoot him (and burn down his house, and kill his dogs, and rifle through the ashes for the bones of his dogs to taunt him with them).
The pressure that people put on the police when the story first broke was enough to make them walk back their initial insistence that it wasn't a hate crime. Non-natives need to keep that pressure up. The cops, who never followed up on the many, many, many complaints made against Alvarez (not just by Joss, but other neighbors as well) have a vested interest in burying this, giving this man a slap on the wrist, and shrugging their shoulders at another dead Indian. And I would like to believe that the queer people who pushed back against the not-a-hate-crime narrative care enough about Natives to not let that happen. I'd really love to believe that.
