From an evolutionary perspective, are there any prominent theories as to why the average IQ of 90-92 amongst Arctic-dwelling Native Americans is still the same as the equatorial-dwelling Mesoamericans, despite the nomadic populations of Siberians moving from the Bering Strait to Argentina over 14,000-10,000 years ago?

I would have assumed that due to the harsher climate of northern Alaska and Canada, the Natives there would have retained the Asiatic propensity for higher IQ due to their freezing environment selecting for long term planning as it did for East Asians and Indo-Aryan Europeans.
