A Day In Bed With You

I want to spend the day in bed with you — only breathe between kisses. Blinded by sunbeams leaking through the curtains,

hiding under the duvet, giggling like teenagers when noses collide, and time forgets itself in love that feels endless.

Stay in bed with me — no hunger, no thirst. I’m surviving on the air you breathe. Let the world just be, let hours spill into love, just you and me.

Legs knot together under the covers, our thoughts intertwine as we talk for hours. You love me softly, tenderly. Your forehead against mine, our eyes holding each other, and love floods me when the tears come. I’ve never been so happy.

Let’s stay right here until the sun and moon change shifts again — and we sleep.

my body hurts, my troubled soul — tears come up I can’t control, even though it’s decades ago

I hate you with every bone and even my memories refuse to soften

wonder why I once loved you so would have done everything for you it meant nothing

and still tears come up after all this time

when you chose the dark side of love I crumbled inside — the only thing you left behind is the trauma no one can see

Early morning, while the night’s still yawning, between silence and dawning.

Sleepy eyes waking up — just smile at me. No need to talk; we love the quiet air.

Rearranging last night’s thoughts, a fresh start — a quiet house filled with coffee in the air.

You and me, getting ready for the world — so loud, so noisy.

Until we come back, together, in the evening, to say good night.

You’re my place where stars shine through cloudy nights. We glow as one, even when you’re far from home.

I want to go through cloudy skies with you, always searching for the sun to keep us warm.

Miss your touch, so cold outside. Breathe in the scent of your shirt on my skin, I know you’ll always come back to me.

Garden Of Eden

Garden of Eden they told us the fruit is forbidden want to taste it — why is it wrong?

they say it’s our fault, they want to put us down

why do they want to control us, keep us low and enslaved, fulfill all their dreams — then betray us

violence is their choice to keep us small, make us dependent, so that we don’t leave them

their greatest threat is independent-thinking women — that’s why they declare us crazy witches, abnormal and dangerous, and want to burn us

they behave like children from whom something is taken away, when all we want is to be equal
