The conversation between Cleo and Drift means so much to me, and is something I wasn't expecting at all when the Silly Vampire Social Deduction Game smp started. It works as a metaphor on so many levels. Queerness, neurodivergence, disability. Cleo being forced to take on the role of the elder and pass down knowledge and support even though she herself has only been a vampire for a short time.

From holding garlic as a masking strategy to advice about coming out to safe people, plus information about safe foods and a medical support network in Legundo, all delivered without question or comment by a Cleo who immediately jumped to fill a role she didn't have,,,, it is so good. And it pairs so well with the post about vampirism as disability that has been going around, alongside the countless other ways vampire smp has been exploring it as discrimination and queerness.

All while still having plenty of the vampiric staples of campy gaslighting from Scott and classical anger-angst from Owen.
