Hello Friends!

I got myself into a bit of a bind! I quit a very toxic work environment a couple months ago, and was working DoorDash while I searched for another job. Good news! I have orientation on June 9th! Bad news is, I hit a really bad pothole with my car and ended up bending the inner wheel well pretty badly. 

My tire is very temporarily patched, but I need to take my car to the mechanic, which is at the soonest going to be the 30th of May, due to it being Memorial Day in the US and the Mechanics will be closed! I have a replacement wheel, fortunately, but I still need to pay to get it installed.

My newest crafting project: embroidering Dorian’s tarot portrait. Extremely time consuming to do by hand, as I have to do a LOT of long-and-short stitching, but it’s really enjoyable. Methodically stabbing fabric is nice evening activity to do while watching TV. I’m also timing the process (for once) and as of the last photo I’m 25 hours and 43 minutes in.

i adore this guy. he’s got such chill energy, and gives clear information on multiple levels of an exercise. i’m disabled and largely bedridden, and having someone that tells you where to start without being condescending in ANY way is…much harder to find than it should be.
