Mikey coming to your house after a meeting with Toman
----
I am coming over!
Text from Mikey.
It was not uncommon for Mikey to text you late at night when you were already in bed, but normally it would just be a goodnight text or him telling you about some weird stuff he did with his gang that day. His telling you that he was coming over was uncommon. But it was Mikey after all. He was full of surprises.
Crawling out of bed you tried your best to get your hair untangled. Still, in PJs you made it to the kitchen to drink a glass of water, trying to at least wake up a bit before your boyfriend would raid your house. Speaking of raiding, almost out of reflex you looked into the fridge to see if there was anything edible. Not for you, for him.
Again a typical move from Mikey, steal all your food and then complain that there was nothing left. One time he then had the great idea to call poor Draken at midnight to complain about the food situation and how he should bring him something to eat. That day however Kenny was smart and just ended the call.
Smiling at those memories, you took out some food that you then put into the microwave to heat up. As if he could have smelled the food, as soon as the time was up, the doorbell rang.
Tried you opened the door to see the blond all messy and smiling brightly. Too tired to ask any question you just let him in. You would ask about that tomorrow.
Directing him to the kitchen, he looked surprised to see the food that you placed on a plate for him.
Sitting at the kitchen counter, he enthusiastically talked about the fight that took place today and how he and Kenny beat up so many guys. You on the other hand had a hard time staying awake, trying your best to listen to your boyfriend talking.
He noticed that and giggled to himself as he saw how hard you were trying for him. Finishing his food, he put the plate away and saw that the sleep finally got the better of him.
Not thinking about it twice he took you in his arms and carried you into your bedroom, where he placed you on top of the bed. Looking into your closet he found his clothes that he had left there before and put on something comfortable enough to sleep in.
Moving you a bit to the side he made his way into your bed and cuddled up next to you. Letting out a big sigh, he felt all the stress that he tried to hide leave his body. Somehow he felt so at home whenever he was near you, in your arms, or even just simply in your presence.
He felt at home, your home is his home by now.

-----
It was that time of the year again.
A person was walking through a small village with a raven on their shoulder. By now, the village people knew who it was, a kind person on their way to a remote lying boulder that was placed a bit further away. The person would sometimes speak with the people, getting their last supplies there, before continuing their journey.
"Visiting your rock again?" "Not quite but sure. Call it that."
They did not want to tell the people what was going on. Of a sort, they were scared to get attached to those people. Whenever they get attached to anyone they either leave or die.
On the way to the boulder their raven was talking about the new Slayers and that again many have died during the last test. After years of hearing about that test, you soon don't feel anything anymore. When they were younger Y/n would get panic attacks whenever they heard about the many new deaths. Now it has become normality, sadly.
It was symbolic when they reached the boulder. Now cut in half. Y/n heard about it, the new Slayer that was finally able to cut the stone in half, after so many before him tried without success. Y/N smiled at that. Maybe, just maybe, they are finally free because of him. And maybe he is the one that can finally finish all of the other demons. Wishful thinking, but at least better than constantly looking at the future with nothing positive in sight.
Standing before the broken stone, they put down the food they got the other day, together with other things that he may have liked if he was still alive.
Sabito. A long time ago, he, Giyuu, and y/n were friends, all training together trying to become great players and maybe even Hashira. Only one, in the end, became one. The other is stuck in the past, not able to move on, still being a good Demon Slayer, and the other one is dead. Died too young, during the last test. Too young to dream about his future living with his best friends.
Y/N did not know if Giyuu ever came here to remember the past, to mourn. But they had the feeling that the now Hashira was not over his death, same as them.
After a prayer, y/n took their stuff and looked one last time towards the rock. Smiling in hopes that maybe the boy saw them, saying goodbye, and making their way back to their house. Preparing for the big fight that was about to happen in a few months.

short; Ran hiding his family from Bonten;
-----
It was weird to see his brother be all so quiet. That's what Rindou was thinking when he watched his older brother sitting at his table working hard.
It has been months since he and Ran went out to go partying or get women around. It had also been months since any of Bonten saw Ran with any woman at all.
Sanzu was the first to joke around saying, that the older Haitani probably figured out that he was not into women, and that was why he did not want to get out with them anymore.
But they were wrong.
While sitting in his office, Ran had other things on his mind. Like you.
It was quite upsetting for him to think about the fact that you were all alone at home waiting for him while he had to work. You and the kids were probably waiting for him to come home soon, and here he was sitting and waiting for his boss to allow him to leave.
Ran had been working overtime again that day, and Rindou watching him made it not any better. It was irritating.
"You need something?"
It came out angrier than he wanted, but Ran couldn't hold it in at that moment. Luckily for this, his little brother did not take it hard.
The other only smirked at the older and sat down in front of him.
"Tell me," he started while putting his arms on the table and his face in his hands, "who got you so riled up that you want to leave so badly? I mean not alone leave so badly but also work so hard. Don't get me wrong but are you working hard? That's not like you."
There was no concern in his voice. Only mocking.
Growling at his brother, Ran got back to work, which made the younger laugh.
"Oh, come on tell me! I wouldn't snitch on you."
"Yeah right, don't tell me you wouldn't immediately go to your boyfriend and tell him."
"He is not my boyfriend!"
Don't get Ran wrong, he was not trying to hide his new family from Rindou, mostly just from the others at Bonten. And knowing how close Rin and Sanzu have become after those years together at the gang, he was just not sure if he should invite his brother over.
Now it was Rans's time to laugh and Rindous to look pissed.
As the mocking stopped Ran was finally released when Mikey gave him the okay to leave. Without second thought Ran packed everything and left the room with Rindou shortly after him. Like a little duckling following his brother to try and figure out his secret.
He told Rindou that today was simply not the day for family meetings to which the younger one frowned. Ran hated seeing his younger brother like that and almost gave in but composed himself.
It was late after all, and y/n and the kids were probably already in bed. So Ran pinky promised his brother that the next weekend, he would meet his partner and kids.
A happy Rindou acknowledged the promise and left the car.
Only a short drive later, Ran stopped at his own home. When he went inside he was greeted with silence and darkness. Smiling to himself he went to the bedroom only to see his partner and kids lying in it and cuddling together.
A quiet house. Perfect after a long day of work.
Quickly he put down everything and changed his clothes.
Finally, he was in bed holding his partner in his arms moving closer to them and getting their scent.

----
It had been a while since I last saw him. And I wish I never saw him again.
It had been a few minutes ago when I was quietly sitting in the guild, drinking and listening to the others talk, all while I sometimes answered or commented.
Great times, those few minutes before that big jerk decided to step in, and everyone fucking greeted him like he never did shit wrong. Like, everyone besides me forgot what he did months before to the guild, to the master, and to me.
Laxus Dreyar. To think that I ever felt anything for that guy is disgusting. Now he was all of the sudden in head over heels for Mirajane. Once a good friend, but always had a sort of crush on him. Even when I was with him.
And with him coming, my happiness went. I quickly finished my drink and tried my best to get out of the guild as quickly as possible. But once I got up a strong hand grabbed my arm calling out my name.
I was quick enough to rip my arm free from the blond's grip and only glared at him in response. I needed time alone, was the only thing I was able to say before finally leaving him standing in the middle of the guild hall.
After a short walk, I ended up near a river with no other person in sight. Sitting down, quietly listening to the nature around me. It was weird to see Fairy Tail opening its arms to almost everyone by now. Maybe something happened while I was gone that made Laxus part of the guild again, but just because people accept him again, does not mean that I have to do so as well. Right?
No. I shouldn't accept him. After all, this is why I ended up like this anyway. This constant replay, this game of love and breaking up. I mean we were young when we first fell in love. I only went to the guild because I had no other way to go and needed to get away from my remaining family. They were not the nicest people to say. So when I meet a person that was nice to me, I almost immediately fell in love. And I finally had a home.
But all good things need a bad ending when it came to my life. We were too young, and fighting too much about every possible thing. The others thought at first that it was hilarious and that we were perfect for each other since we both were known to be hot-headed. But soon those people also noticed that this was not a little hot-headedness, but something more serious.
Soon Laxus was yelling more often than I would respond. And the blue eyes and bruises were becoming more noticeable as well. But we came back together after a break. It was probably the third one. However, it was no use. It all ended after one mission with the Thunder Legion. Most of us got injured, and I was unable to walk. Instead of helping, he left, got the money, and went home. Bix had to carry me home the entire way, while ever tried her best to fix up all our wounds. It was a mess.
And of course, as soon as we stepped into the guild, he was the one asking where we were and what took us so long. So I snapped. I yelled at him, letting out all the anger and hatred I felt at that moment, and cried my eyes out. Luckily he was stunned and smart enough to not snap back at me. He was shocked, looking at me in pity as if he only then noticed what he did to us, and me.
Even though my legs were screaming, and I almost fell with each step, I was determined to get out of that hall all by myself. And I did. I went home and did not come back for a while, which made multiple members come to check on me.
Only after he was kicked out did I come back. I expected some petty or whatever kind of looks and questions, but nothing. Instead of weird looks, I got that pitty looks again. As if they wanted to say sorry for not stepping in months ago.
And now he is back. All those sad looks were long forgotten. But I did not forget. And now I am questioning what to do next. Little did I know that the person I have been thinking about the whole time was standing behind a tree, watching me the entire time.
Your beauty never scared me.

Gyutaro x gn! reader
Notes: fluff Words: 796
kids being brats; siblings being siblings; Gyutaro being cute; Daki and Gyutaro have known the reader for a while;
------
It was night. But even in darkness, places like Yoshiwara were lit. Bright buildings were lighting the way, leading one from one to the other. Entertainment District.
Normally, innocent people like me would not be out during times like this. The others called me insane when I volunteered to go out and grab the things Warabihime asked for. But by now I knew the area like the back of my hand.
I knew where to go and where not to go during the night and day. Unlike the other people in the house, I did not have any sort of rank. Which confuses newcomers, but lucky me, our Oiran would quickly shut them up.
I was lucky enough to be able to withstand the Oiran's temper tantrums and anger, which made her like me even more. Like a little maid, I would grab the things she needs, and help her get dressed when the others were too stupid to do it right. And I was also able to scold her. Nothing big, but I needed to remind her, that she needs to act human. And humans eat. Most of the time it would just be us two or three in a room alone. The others think that during that time the Oiran is eating when most of the time it's just me eating and the other two talking about plans or what is going on.
By now when Daki ended up telling people she was hungry, it either meant, she was hungry in her demon ways, or there was something she needed to talk with me about.
But I had no clue what it was about this time. I only went out this time to mentally prepare for her childish needs and grabbed myself some food on the go.
When I came back, I did not think that I would be greeted by the siblings fighting. Luckily for them, the others had left.
I pushed the door open and went inside the room, where I was greeted by the two siblings being head-to-head yelling at each other. Something about a human escaping and Daki blaming her brother for it. It was not the first time things went down like this. That was the reason why I just stood there waiting after I closed the door.
"Can you both just be quiet for one second?" I asked. Not screaming at them like I normally would, too tired after the long day. Sometimes I had the feeling those two forgot that I am still human and needed sleep. When the siblings noticed me standing there, they stopped. Daki stuck out her tongue to her brother and left the room via another door, slamming that behind her.
I let out a sigh and sat down in the middle of the room, placing my food down and waiting for Gyutaro to do anything. The demon looked puzzled at the door his sister left a second ago, before also sitting down without a word.
"So," I started as I put food into my mouth," what happened this time?" "She is blaming me again for something she did." I looked at the boy in front of me who was avoiding my eyes. I stared at him which in return made him blush.
"And?" I asked trying to get out more information. But he only murmured something in return. Annoyed I put down the food and let out yet another sigh. For being demons as old as them, they were both still acting like children.
"Gyutaro, I can't hear you-" "They just called me an ugly freak again." "Who did?" "They."
Sometimes I wish I could ask for even more patience than I already hold when it comes to those two. But then it hit me. By now Daki had a small group of girls that knew about Gyutaro. She hoped that something good would come out of Gyutaro interacting with more humans, but instead those humans just bullied him.
I stood up from where I was sitting and went over to him. "Y/N!" he stuttered out as I sat down on his lap, making the poor boy blush even more if that was even possible. I took his face and made him look into my eyes.
One red and a lime green orb with yellow sclera looking at me in shock. "Don't you dare listen to those brats, do you hear me?" I said as I squished his face in my hands and kissed his forehead to which he let out a grunt. He mumbled out my name as I giggled.
I patted his head and kissed him even more to which an annoyed sound came out of him. No one is allowed to call my boy ugly. Not even his sister.

----
I was running away. Just a second ago I was working on a generator like every round before I heard footsteps. I had a feeling that those were not from one of the other survivors, as we were called.
Killers hunting survivors. And just like prey running away from a predator. This was a game for them, while it was always a pain for us. Even if we die one round, we would be back the next if we were chosen. Chosen by the thing that dragged us here in the first place. It was noticing but fog for us. A terrifying fog. The one thing that both sides of this game feared.
Running away from the Killer, mind blank. There was no other thought in my head than survive. I did not want to go through that pain again. Not today.
But soon I noticed that no one was following me. I hid behind a tree and stopped, trying to breathe normally. Knowing that there was a new killer around was not any better at that moment. That meant that even though I did not hear anyone at that time, it does not mean, that the Killer was not close by. Maybe this one was quiet.
"Y/N! Y/N RUN!" Jake. Running away from something. A cloaked figure with the infamous mask. Ghostface.
A new killer her. But not a new killer in my books. I have heard too much from that thing around my time. And I knew what it was capable of in the past, and I did not want to find out what it was able to do now. So I ran. Fast. Not fast enough. Jake was gone. I heard that loud and clear. What I also heard was the Killers footsteps now after me. And they were getting closer, and closer. I tried to go even faster, but Ghostface was faster.
He threw me on the floor, turned me around on my back, and lifted his knife. I tried to react by covering my face, but nothing came. He stopped. He just looked at me, with his knife still lifted, slowly putting it down. "Y/N?" What?
I slowly opened my eyes again, while I put my arms away, looking at the person on top of me.
The mask was still on. At that moment I had no clue who the person behind it was. And it was terrifying. To lie on the floor, with a killer on top who seems to know you. Either the killer knew you from the past, maybe when the mask was off, or they were the killer's next victim. A victim he was unable to get because of his disappearance. Y/N was shaking in fear, tears forming, and unable to utter a word. Ghostface sat up and put down the knife next to the two of them. Slowly his gloved hands went to his mask and he took it off.
"Danny?" Danny Johnson and Y/N L/N. High school sweethearts that broke apart after Danny left one day without saying a word. It took y/n a long time to get over the fact that their boyfriend would just leave without a word, breaking every piece of hope they had of forming a future with him. They gave up searching for him after a few years, thinking that Danny died or had an accident, only to then see a familiar face in the news. A journalist that gained attention after continuously writing about the Ghostface Killer. Jed Olsen knew almost everything about him. And now it all made sense why.
Y/N was on her way to Roseville before she was sucked into this mess of a sick game. And now the entity has to spit out the person they were looking for. Danny Johnson aka Jed Olsen, also known as Ghostface. They felt sick. They had a weird feeling that this may be the case, that Jed was Ghostface, and that Jed was Danny. But now that they knew, that all those thoughts were true, y/n felt sick
"Get off me," they mumbled, all while trying to push away the thing that they were once in love with. In love with a killer. Y/N wanted to puke. "Love, wait-"
"DO NOT CALL ME THAT"
The scream was loud enough that the people in the survivor camp probably heard it. It was also loud enough to make a grown man flinch. Both people had tears in their eyes. But what did he expect? For y/n to close their eyes and just accept the fact, that their partner, did not only disappear one day without a goodbye, then changed his name only to become a sick killer all while writing articles about himself? "You disgust me, Danny Johnson."
Those were their last words before they started running towards the open gate. And he let them. Shaken up by the whole situation, Danny stayed, still sitting at the place. Yeah, what was he thinking? He should have killed them without a second thought, or let them run without letting them see him.
Once y/n was out of there, they prayed to the entity to not let them ever see each other again. And Danny was aware, that that time was most likely the last that those two will ever see each other again.

!Short Story with open end! ( Maybe second part?)
----
She was beautiful. As she walked through the school halls, always followed her best friend. People said that Susie was a naive girl, easy to manipulate, and followed Julie like a loyal but stupid puppy. But still, her pink hair was mesmerizing.
It was not a simple crush they had on the naive girl, it was an obsession. Y/N would do anything for the girl anything to get her to notice them. It was another party where y/n finally got Susie's attention. She was there with her new "friends". The group slowly got known around the school, always skipping class, bullying others, and trashing places. But it was no use to kick them out. Since Frank was older than most of the kids around, he was easily in control over everyone. So the kid that threw the party was only there and saw how Frank, Joey, Julie, and Susie came in and trashed the place. Going crazy.
And y/n loved that. Seeing the girl go wild, seeing her in her new element. If Frank only knew how obsessed y/n was with Susie, oh he would have them easily in the group. If Susie was the naive one, they would be even more naive, and gullible.
Somehow the mess got to the other people, and they also started to go wild. Dancing like maniacs, throwing shit around, and drinking like there was no tomorrow.
Y/N was also there, in the middle of the chaos. In some way trying to impress the pink-haired girl. But they did not get her attention. Julie was watching. Seeing how they were staring at her best friend. And oh, this was going to get interesting. By no means is Julie stupid, way smarter than her little naive friend. So putting two and two together, she had a plan.
Sending Susie over to you, and then Frank would have another innocent soul he could use.
Walking to her friend Julie told Susie that someone was looking at her the entire time. Seemingly in love with her. And poor innocent Susie. Is someone in love with her? Made the smaller one blush madly. And oh pure innocent love. It was almost immediately when the girl saw y/n that she fell in love as well.
Julie saw how the two blushing people exchanged words and numbers. An arm was thrown around her shoulders, while an evil smile formed on her face.
"The fuck you looking at," Frank asked his girlfriend, looking confused into the direction she was looking at. When he saw Susie and Y/N, he slowly got it. A laugh escaped his lips as he kissed his girlfriend's head, applauding her for her genius. Oh, how sad that those two were so innocent and had no clue what the couple had planned for you two.
People like them were easy to manipulate.

Page 107, only two or three more to go. I need to finish it in about an hour. Then read a chapter of the other book and be prepared for school tomorrow.
That was daily work for me. Overworking, as some may call it, was the daily business for me. My parents want a good life for me and I do not want to disappoint them.
I was too young when their divorce happened, and now they push me to get good grades. Probably because they want to get rid of me as soon as possible, after all, my father did once tell me that I was the cause of the divorce. I never planned. My mum wanted to keep me, and my dad didn't. They were quite young when they had me. He said that he ruined their grand plan, becoming rich and later in life having a son.
So maybe he is right. Me being a big problem, now working to be less of a burden.
-
Friends are overrated. Boyfriends are also overrated.
Who could have known that friends steal your partner whom you only have been with for two months? A boyfriend you met via that "friend" that then he cheated on you with.
They expected some great reaction from me, all standing in front of me in the middle of the school hallway. Their shit-eating grins and teasing voices. And all they got from me was okay. Oh, their disappointed faces made my day. I didn't need them. Why would I need them, if I can continue to work towards my dreams? I will get friends eventually. For now, I only need to keep my head up high and do my work.
My mum did not know about my boyfriend anyway. And dad would have my head if he found out. I never told them because of that. I never told them about anything, when I knew that that thing would upset them. Not full points in a test? I never told them. Having a boyfriend and "friends" that bully me and push me into a mental hole that was too deep to crawl out by myself? I never told them.
-
Senju Kawaragi was a weird being. She came in into my class one day telling me she was looking for me. She wasn't even in my class. Senju was a mystery for me since day one. A random girl came up to me one day and asked to be friends. I thought she was joking. If I didn't know better, she came off like she was one of those bullies in school. I laughed right into her face. A surprised look formed on hers, while she frowned.
"I am serious!" She said out loud which made me stop laughing. And I could tell from her facial expressions that she was for real. "Okay, but why?"
"Why? Because you look like an awesome person. And I want to be friends with you!"
I knew that she would leave me alone until I agreed to be friends with her. So I nodded and said okay. Like I always did. Always saying okay to anything and everyone.
With a smile on her face, Senju left, waving me goodbye and telling me to meet her after school.
-
Because of my past experiences with "friends", I didn't think that my friendship with Senju would last. But to my surprise, the girl was very much clinging to me. I don't know what she saw in me that made her want to be friends with me, but I at least now had an actual friend that would not leave me.
And with her as a friend, I also had a bodyguard of a sort. As the nerd, I was an easy target when it came to bullies targeting. But with her around, I felt like the teasing got less. And one day it fully stopped. I was now able to just live my life in school and study hard. Harder. Harder than usual. And Senju noticed.
She was not only the person that stopped other people from pulling me down but also the person who saved me from myself. And soon I felt like I was a burden to her.
I wanted to tell her about how I felt, but she declined that I would be ever a burden. And because I never spoke out against a superior person, I kept quiet. Not only about that, but also about what my parents did at home.
But she wasn't stupid. Senju noticed quickly how my behavior changed over the days she was around me. The dark circles under my eye, me falling asleep not only in class but also after when we met. Something was wrong, and she would figure out what it was.
Days have passed since it began. My father was home more often. My mum and mine. He found the old tests I tried to hide. The beating was terrible. I tried my best to hide the scars and discoloration with the makeup my mum gave me. I also tried my best to stay away from Senju. I wasn't able to tell her what was going on, I was not able to look her in the eyes and break down crying.
But as stated before, Senju is smarter. You can't get away from a person like her. Once a person like her falls for someone like me, there is no turning back. And thankfully that was the case.
"Y/N! Y/, wait!" she screamed after me. It was after class and I had just left my classroom. By now the people around us were used to Senju yelling after me as soon as class was over, so they didn't flinch, unlike me. I couldn't turn around, I was too scared that she would see me like this. So I started to walk faster.
But not fast enough.
"Hey just wait for one second!" Her hand gripped my arm and made me stop. It hurt quite a bit. I felt like if I didn't move my arm, she would unintentionally give it a bruise. She let go as soon as I spun around, facing her.
Her face was pure shock. I could have only guessed that the make-up must have been gone by now or was not good enough to cover up my buries. I looked away shyly, feeling tears form in my eyes.
Exactly that was what I feared. She would leave me now. Leave me alone with my parents. Alone, with no more friends because I betrayed her- "Who did this?"
Senju's voice was calm. But not calm enough to not make me flinch. It was a similar tone my father would have right before he hit me. Because of that, I couldn't hold it back anymore. Right then and there I broke down to my knees and let out painful sobs.
My throat was burning as I let out the tears that I have been holding back for way too long. My face was covered in them as I tried to remove them with my hands, only to be able to hide my face in them. I wished that moment that I could disappear.
I never wanted to let Senju see me like this. She was always so strong around everyone. And now she will have realized how weak I was. But I was wrong. Suddenly I felt arms around me, and my face being pushed against her chest. Senju was shushing me like the baby I was all while petting my head. "It's okay," she whispered in my ear. This all let me cry even more. All the pain I was in, getting out in one go. All while being in her arms.
"Why? Why would you stay with me? Why with some like me, who are all weak and can't do shit on their own?" I tried to say as loud as I could, between sobs and cries.
"I-" The patting stopped. She was thinking, I could tell. So was there no reason why? "Senju?"
I moved away from her grip to look her in the eyes and to my surprise, her face was beet red. Oh-
" I- you see when I saw you I- It's hard to explain," she laughed at herself in embarrassment.
"I kinda had a crush on you since the day we met so I wanted to be around you at all times in the hopes you would love me back-" What she was saying was too quick for me. What-? Now it was my time to turn red. If it was even possible to turn red in my situation.
"What?" "I love you, y/n. That's what I am saying. But I guess I can't force you and since you are clearly in a bad situation right now I should just-" I was way too aggressive in what I was doing next. I quickly shut her up with a kiss. It was rushed and not very good, but it did the job. Who could have thought that all this time we felt the same for each other? As soon as she got in control of herself again, Senju took over the kiss and it was way better than my attempt.
And fuck it was great. In the end, we were both panting for air. "Promise you won't leave me, Senju?" "Never, my love."

They/Them; the main character dies; mention of sickness;
Do not read if you are sensitive to topics mentioned above
Michael never was one to understand what love was. The whole concept was weird to him, to feel weak around another being. No, thank you. Those were his thoughts, at least until he met them.
Normally, people that saw him knew what he did and that they wouldn't make it long once they got in his way. They, on the other hand, never flinched. Not one movement came from them when they looked the great Boogyman into his masked eyes. In general, there was not much emotion left in them.
They were sick, after all. Close to death no matter what. So what harm would it do if they died earlier than the doctors predicted, at the hands of a lost serial killer? Weirdly, they welcomed that thought with open arms.
But even though people called Michael a monster, he couldn't kill you. For some reason, he was unable to even touch them. Scared, he would break the already broken. So they continued to live, but now being stalked by a giant man everyone feared.
Walking hurt, and because of that, they sat in a chair most of their days, staring outside their window. It was spring. When they were younger, they always liked running around in the garden catching butterflies. Now seeing the butterflies only made them sadder. Such beautiful creatures, freer than they would ever be ever again.
Not only free but also in a group. Group of friends and family. Not alone like them. They had no one anymore. Only a stalker came into their house at night. It didn't scare them only made them hope that he would be a saint and speed things up for them. But instead, he just stayed. Sometimes sitting down on their bed and watch them "sleep". Just sometimes, Michael would love to know how to cook them something, but instead, he made that up and stole food from your neighbors and left it for them.
They got used to the giant in the house. Even though they never spoke to each other, they communicated differently. Via eye contact and hand gestures, they invited him to eat with you or at least sit with them, not thinking about the fact that he may feel uncomfortable with taking his mask off.
From sitting together and watching them sleep, they grew closer after the months they had been together. But with those two growing closer, the body began to worsen.
Their sickness was getting the better of them and soon they were unable to get out of bed alone. Michael, who now kinda lived at their place, was kind enough to help them out. Not afraid to touch them anymore, he helped them get out of bed and carried them to the couch. On the table in front of the couch he placed the food he got from the fridge only to then sit down and stare at them.
They didn't move. Every movement hurt. Michael tried his best and grabbed the fork picking up the food with it and moving it towards their mouth. At least some of the food they were able to eat and swallow, but it was for sure not enough for the day. They felt like crying as they felt the food go down their throat. It would be only days until this would all be over.
And Michael continued to stay. Pain consumed them whenever and wherever. Even in bed. So now Michael even slept in the same bed as them, trying to give them at least a few hours of rest. His presence should be scaring them, but with him in bed, they calmed down at least a bit. He had his arms around their body, holding them close to him. Most of the nights he hears them cry into his chest, even if they tried their best to suppress the sounds. And it hurt him. Although he thought he does not feel anything for anyone, hearing them cry upset him.
So the next day, he tried to make them happy. At least once before they leave him. They were sat down in front of the window by Michael, who in his way, told them to wait there. They looked outside the window facing their garden which started to get more and more overgrown by the day. Another sight hurt them, knowing that they can't take care of the flowers. Michael tried his best. Glass in one hand and the lid in the other. He tried to catch the beautiful insect that he saw you watch days before. But getting a butterfly into a glass was harder than he imagined. Especially when one tries to get them in alive.
If they could only laugh at that sight, they would have. But their emotions were drained. They were tried. But they tried their best to stay awake a bit longer. After a few more minutes, Michael succeeded. He had one in the glass. Alive.
Quickly he brought the winged insect inside to show them. With tired eyes, they looked at the masked man, who proudly showed his companion what he caught, and handed them the glass. They took it and looked at the butterfly for a while. Free like a butterfly. "Thank you."
It was a quiet, yet accomplishing sound that came out of their mouth. A sound that made the big man smile under his mask. A smile that quickly faded when he noticed their smile that was directed to him. They only had the power to put the glass down. Leaning back into their chair, holding out their hand and waiting. Michael took the hand, ever so

Mention of make out session but I can't right stuff like this lol; fake friends; old childhood friends; again ideas from the song: Tell it to my heart by Taylor Dayne;
The day was already not great. Work sucked, and my "friends" had the great idea to go partying with me as the driver! Congratulations. I was unable to drink and had to take care of giant crybabies. I didn't even know why I was still friends with people like this since that was not the first time shit like this has happened. And most of the time, they made me pay for the shit they purchased, as well.
Your history with Wakasa was rough. They were once childhood friends that after years broke apart. It all started when he joined Shinichiro's gang. Wakasa slowly didn't have any time left to meet me. We fully broke contact when Shinichiro sadly passed.
So to say that I was close, to just running out of this mess, was an understatement. It smelled, I was pissed and knew for sure the next time one of those bitches came up to me to ask for a drink, I
was going to throw hands.
The day couldn't get any worse. Or so you thought. That was until he walked in. The one person that you hoped not to see that day. Wakasa Imaushi.
To see him now in a club like this, was uncanny. Now my urge to run just got bigger. But instead of that, I walked right to the bar. Right past him.
By his surprised look, I could tell he noticed me, but I was too quick and was already at my destination, breaking my promise of not drinking and grabbing myself a beer.
I kinda hoped that the now blond-purple-haired male would come up to me and talk. But I waited for nothing. He disappeared somewhere in the cup section of the club.
So I broke another of the rules that I had created for myself. I drank the beer and then went straight to the middle of the club, where all the people were dancing.
I never thought of myself as a dancer, but I couldn't care less. Most of the people around me were busy with themselves anyway, and because of that, I was able to dance like no one was watching me. And it felt so refreshing.
I froze. Like, many fellows touched mine today, but this was different. And as soon as I noticed who the person behind me was, I understood why I felt so weird. Wakasa.
Just dance like there was no tomorrow. Here and there some strangers came up to me, and some body contact was made, but for some reason, they all came and quickly left.
I didn't care until I felt a pair of hands around my waist, pulling me towards whoever was holding me. I stopped to dance momentarily, while the person behind me continued swaying, and pushing their face on top of mine.
His eyes were closed, and I had the slight hinge that he may be drunk and not know what he was doing. But as soon as he opened them and look right into mine, that thought left me. He was very much aware of what he was doing. And now looking back probably also the one that made the other people back off.
At that time, I didn't know how to feel. Truth is, I had a crush on him ever since childhood. I just overplayed it and tried my best to forget about it when we lost connection.
Now that I was with him again, a rush came through me and I was overflowing with emotions that I once tried to push away.
It was sweaty. We didn't utter a word but continued to dance. It felt so right at the moment, how our body's rubbed together. Just being in his arms made me feel so safe.
Gods I felt like I was on cloud 9 again. Heads pressed together, and him leaning in for a kiss which I immediately returned.
A soft kiss quickly turned into a full-on make-out session in the middle of the dancefloor. The way his hands were all over my body, and the way I tried my best to not moan right into his mouth. I wish this night never ended.
With all the pleasure I was feeling, fear was coming up inside me.
Why?
Why was he doing this? Why after so many years and why in the middle of a club?
"Waka'," I practically moaned out to which he smirked. "Why now?"
I don't know if he didn't hear me or ignored my question, just leaning straight back into another kiss. I felt helpless at that moment. Maybe it was a game for him. Wakasa was always the playboy in our friend group after all. Being the pretty guy had its perks. He got girl after girl, while poor Shin had trouble even getting his first kiss.
He kept holding on to me, holding me tightly and looking into my eyes. If you didn't know Wakasa you would think he held no emotion in his eyes. But I knew those pretty droopy eyes that looked down on me. They held so much emotion, so much love, and longing.
Because of that I quickly tried to push away the crush that formed when I was younger, not wanting to end like the people before me. So being in this situation, only made me remember how he was years ago.
To even think he would love me- Gods I felt stupid.
"Because I never forgot you, y/n. I missed you."
What-
The next day my body was extremely sore, and I was having a hard time getting out of bed, still in my birthday suit. I woke up alone. My mind already wanted to start twirling into bad though that he left me, only for the male to walk in with a tablet and food.
I slowly broke the longing stare by me putting my head against his chest, not letting go as my arms crept into his body. A sigh of relief came out.
It turned out that the gang Waka' was in now owned the club. As soon as he saw me he ran into the VIP section to hide at first. After a while, he went to me and didn't know what to say so he thought it was a great idea to "hug" me. We ended up outside the bar moments later and drove to his apartment where we stayed the night.
A good morning kiss on the head and breakfast in bed. Fuck me. He came back into bed helping me sit up on his lap while we ate and talked. The morning after all the stress was amazing.
"I love you," he whispered in my ear while kissing my neck, " stay with me?"
And how could I say no to that?

Brush stroke after brush stroke, you focused on the project in front of you. Ideas were lacking when you started the painting, so by now, it was just a canvas covered in vibrant colors you were still unhappy with. Putting the brush into water and cleaning it, you then took the damp brush to blend the colors the best you could. Exchanging the brush for a spatula, you tried to save the painting with a thick coat of paint, forming a landscape, some hills, trees, and water.
And you were still unhappy with the result. Stepping back from where you were working the whole time, you look at the mess from afar. Leaning your head to the side, trying to find any angle that it may look good in. But you couldn't.
A big sigh left your mouth, and you fell into your chair, thinking about how you could fix the catastrophe you had created.
But your thinking break was quickly interrupted by the front door slamming close. Huffing and feet shuffling were heard.
Whiteout moving from your seat, you tried to look towards the door, putting your head on the stools back. Very uncomfortable, but you couldn't care less.
The door opened shortly after, and in came the blue-haired boy you were waiting for. You tried your best to smile at him, but your smile quickly faded when you saw his upset face.
"What's wrong?"
No words. You quickly turned around and got up, walking towards your boyfriend and catching him in a tight hug. Souya immediately returned the hug, letting yet another sigh. His face was pressed into your neck while he moved it around a bit to get comfortable.
It turned out that a fight in Toman broke out again, and Souya was unhappy about it. The baby is trying his hardest to stay in his pacifist way. Even though he gets called Angry by the members and his brother, he tried not to be aggressive towards anyone. Especially not towards the people he loved. And with his pacifist way, he does not like fights. He only really punches someone when it's necessary or that specific side of him comes out.
The cuddling continued with him sitting on your chair while you sat on his lap and continued to paint. Still trying to fix your mess, you complained about how ugly it was to your boyfriend, who could only nod about not understanding why you would hate it. Especially hate something you created.
Souya did not listen to what you were saying. He was just happy to be around you. Hugging you tightly and snuggling his head against you. Of a sort, you were his outlet, the reason to be happy and able to calm down the anger.
"Souya, are listening?" You asked him after some time, noticing that he was not answering any of your questions. But instead of lying, he answered with a "No" while still snuggling.
" Oi, rude!" You scoffed, faking your upsetness. You looked down at your hands while hearing a giggle from the boy. Paint. You had paint on your hands.
An evil grin formed on your face, and you put your hands on his cheek playing with it. Souya was whining, not noticing yet what you just did. He only noticed that something was wrong when he noticed your grin.
Quickly he turned the chair to get a look into the mirror that was placed on one side of your room. There he was that his cheeks now had paint on them.
"You little shit," he muttered, which made you laugh out loud. "That's what you get for not listening to me!"
What you did not expect,t was him holding you tight to make sure you couldn't escape, only to then rub his cheeks against yours. And sadly for you, the paint was still wet enough to be spread on both your faces.
Now it was your time to look shocked and his time to laugh.
After Souya stopped laughing, he again pulled you close after you somehow nearly escaped him. He closed his eyes as his forehead touched yours. " I love you so much," he whispered between kissing you. Your hands slowly crept into his curls, depending on the kiss, while his hands were still around your back, holding you. Even though he just told you that he loved you, you felt even more loved after those kisses.

Red, White, Blue. So many colors and so many variations.
The lights were flickering in the club, with many people dancing around. Sweaty, drunk, and high.
It was nothing special that they were there. It was, after all, another of Bontans clubs so they could visit whenever.
Bonten executives came in and went whenever their heart desired or when Mikey didn't need or want them around.
Often, those clubs were used for Business. One of does "businesses" being drugs. Selling and buying.
It was a no-brainer that you would find Hard here. You did not have much contact with Haruchiyos coworkers, but you met Mikey and the Haitani brothers before. They were surprisingly nice to you, even though they all asked you why you would be together with a person like Sanzu.
And it was weird. You don't remember how you got into this relationship, but it was by no means toxic in any way. Yet there was a part that always scared you when it came to your boyfriend. And that was his drug abuse.
Sanzu wasn't open when it came to his childhood or his family. Whenever you asked him about it, he would quickly change the topic and tried to avoid answering. So you didn't push it further but guessed that something in his childhood or teenage years must have been the trigger for him to turn out this way.
You didn't know what drove you to this place. Maybe the fact that your boyfriend was late again, even though you asked him to come home after the meeting and him agreeing to that. Who knows, maybe, the meeting didn't go well, and he needed time alone. In a club-
Haru does not like clingy people, and luckily for him, you tried your best to give him space whenever he needed it. He came to love you so dearly that he accepted your clinginess a bit at the time. He may or may not even start to like you more than Mikey, but don't Quote him on that.
Unlike Sanzu, big parties and full clubs were not your things. So the fact that Ran and Rindou saw you walk in was confusing, to say the least. The brothers looked at each other as of asking the other if they should talk to you and ask why you were there. Luckily for you, those two men had a brain, and we're smart enough, to not flirt with you, knowing how dear you were to Sanzu. But there was sadly more man than them around the club.
While looking around the room all of a sudden a big hand grabbed your shoulder.
"Haven't seen you around here, pretty thing. Are you new?" an older man spoke to you. He did not seem like he was part of Bonten and was way too fucking drunk for your liking. The situation only got worse, when you tried to get away from the man without saying a word.
You turned away from the man, seeing the brothers, trying your best to get to them, and away from the guy.
"Na, come on. Don't fucking run away from me and do your job you-"
A hard slab was heard. One that not only made you flinch but also the people around you.
"Don't. Fucking. Touch."
Yea, don't touch what Haru sees as his. The man learned that the hard way. Knowing Haruchiyo, if you did not step in quickly, things would get out of hand. And his slurred speech gave it away that he was most likely drunk or high. Or both.
Normally, drugs would turn Sanzu into a mindless killer. Other days it's just a bit different.
The pink-haired male turned around to look at you and fell right into your arms. Snuggling his head into your neck and mumblings incoherent things. He was holding you tightly as if scared to lose you.
"Mine. Mine."
Your confusion slowly faded, and with that, you noticed that the man left, and the club went back to being loud.
"How about we go home, Haru? I think you need some sleep-" and that question he answered quickly with being asleep on your shoulder and not moving.
It was a pain in the ass the get this giant into your car and drive home. Luckily he woke up momentarily to get inside your home on his own, only to fall asleep on the couch.
You did not even try to move him at that point, and just fell on top of him and sleep there.
---++
The next morning was painful. For him, not for you. A giant hangover was to be expected but still painful.
You woke up earlier than him to prepare for a winy grown-up man. And a cry you got. Haru woke up in a fully lit room. How. Dare. You.
"Babe-?"
"Yea, love? What's wrong?"
"The lights its what's wrong"
Like a winy baby, he pushed his head into the couch, trying to block the light. So for your baby, you covered the windows, trying to lessen the light that came into the room.
"Yea fuck that. I will stay here until all the light fucks off."
You only laughed at that and sat down on the couch to give him a drink that was supposed to help with hangovers. It tasted like shit but worked wonders.
Reluctantly Haru took it and swallowed the whole thing, making a face after. Combing through his hair he placed his head on your shoulder, immediately calming down.
" I am sorry about yesterday," he quietly spoke out after a while of silence. "What do you mean, love?"
It was quiet again. He starred ahead.
"You know I love you right?"
Now it was my time to stare at him.
"I was stressed out yesterday after the meeting, so I went to the club with- the brothers," he started, moving away from your shoulder. He sat up straight and let his head fall on top of the back pillow of the couch, letting out a big sigh.
"You know I am not mad about that, Haru. I mean, I was worried, but at least you were somewhere remotely safe." You smiled at him, hoping that it would calm him down. But he did not look any less worried.
" I want to stop with the pills. Guess- the smartest move I made was to go to alcohol-" he laughed at himself.
"Haru-"
" I want a better life for both of us, mostly you. But I can't do this alone." He took your hands in his and looked into your eyes. " I need your help to get away for them. I would never forgive myself if I ever hurt you because of them."
Tears formed in both your and his eyes. It came as a surprise that he was so open about it to you. A smile was on your face, and you hugged him tightly, which he returned.
" I love you, Haru," you whispered between giving him little kisses. " I promise I will help you out."
More kisses and cuddles followed with you telling him how proud you were of him for trying his best.
You both knew it would be a hard time coming, but your love was strong, and you were willing to help your boyfriend out no matter what.

Our relationship wasn't the best when it started. It was true. I was not the best partner to have and had a hard time doing things for my boyfriend. But I still loved him.
He did everything for me. Got me the food I liked, went on many dates, or canceled them when I got sick. He even got over to my house whenever I texted or called him. In the end, he even moved into my home to see me daily.
The best part for me also was that he never complained. As often as his friends called out to him and said that he needed to talk to me about my behavior or even better, run away, he stayed with me.
Hakkai even stood up to me when they called me a crybaby, which was not wrong. Whenever I asked for something, and he did not bring it to me immediately, I was crying like a pathetic baby.
In short, he bent himself in every possible way for me. Just to make me happy. He never complained.
That was until one day.
It was late in the evening. I was sitting on my couch, and waiting for Hakkai to come back from a Toman meeting.
I was pissed that day since it was the first time he disagreed to go on a date with me, saying that the meeting was important. So he just left the house without a goodbye.
Like the crybaby I was, I sat down, pouting on the couch, and waited.
He came home late. A tired look on his face, as if he was ready to fall right into bed. Yet I had other ideas. I got up from the couch and yelled.
It was not common for me to yell at him, but it had happened before. It, however, never got physical. But looking back, the verbal abuse I put him through should have been reason enough for him to leave me.
I yelled why he left me like this today? Why he could not just ask to reschedule the date-
"Shut. Up. For fucks sake."
I don't know what it was that made me frize. Maybe it was the words alone or the way he spoke them out, almost grinding his teeth together, trying to compose himself. But after that, I was unable to say anything else.
The unbroken eye contact we held only made the situation more uncomfortable. It was so weird and new to me, that scary feeling, that tears formed in my eyes.
By no means was Hakkai a weak man. He would have been able to hurt me or defend himself no matter what. But simple words struck me in a way I never expected. They were a wake-up call. No. Not a call. A punch right into my face made me realize what shit I was pulling the last months.
So I stayed quiet. It took a lot of strength to even break the eye contact, but as soon as it was broken, he left and went into the bathroom. We did not sleep in the same bed that night.
The days after were not any better. I was quiet and only nodded or shook my head when he spoke to me. Because of that, he often gave me a weird look to which I only looked away from him.
The day came when he went to another Toman meeting and came home later. But instead of using his keys, he rang the bell and waited. When I opened the door he did not move. He stood there like he was waiting for something. Even after trying to move a bit to the side to let him in, he did not budge.
" 'Kai, is everything okay?" I asked in a quiet voice.
He then stepped inside the house. I closed the door behind him and was about to turn around when he gripped my hands. Pulling me towards him he again stared into my eyes, waiting for something.
" 'Kai," I whispered, loud enough for him to hear, "let go, please. You are hurting me."
As soon as he let go of my hands, I noticed a red hint on them and carefully rubbed them all while looking down at my feed.
Again, silence.
"You -"
"I fucked up, I know. I did some incredible shity things, and you have all the right to leave me. I mean, your friends even told you to leave me before. But you stayed. Why?"
Now he was the one that looked away. "I love you. Even if you controlled me the entirety of this relationship."
"But, can we work this out? Can we- No, can I- I will make it up to you. If you want to stay here or need time. But I truly love you too, 'Kai. And I don't want to lose you. But I will need your help to change."
The hug was unexpected but perfect. Hakkai placed his head on mine while my face was softly pushed into his chest. "We can work this out," he whispered.
We sat down on the couch in each other's arms. Talking a lot about what did go wrong and what we needed to change. It was hard since most of the problems came from me, and changing my behavior will cost time.
Only time will tell how this will work out. But now our dates, which have become fewer, are most intimate. More sincere. I learned more about his likes and dislikes, which I should have known about way earlier.
As I said, it will be hard. But I am willing to do anything for the boy that I love.

The ringing of a bell, a door opening, the sound of a coffee machine, people talking, next order.
There was no time for a break right now since it was rush hour for my shop, at the moment. People from all over the area came to get their coffee. Some just woke up, while others had been working for hours. Not to forget students, who tried to calm down during their break here or continued their work. A place for everyone to calm down. Just like how I imagined it in high school. My coffee shop.
My life now was way different than, how it was 12 years ago.No more gangs and violence. Just me and my friends working and doing what we dreamed about.
Yet I always had the weird feeling that I was being watched. I have told my therapist about it as well but they were unable to help me out. They tried to stop me from freaking out and told me to stay calm.
As much as I tried to stay calm, the feeling never left. And then that feeling made all too much sense.
It all made sense when he walked in, and the shop became quiet at once. It was like everyone got too scared to talk or even make a sound. Five men.
Bonten.
Mikey.
I haven't seen him in years. We were once good friends, especially when I was still part of Toman. Yet we fell apart. It was too much for me when all of my friends fell like flies and died. I still was not over their deaths. One of the reasons I went to therapy in the first place.
For one second, I turned my back on executives to put away a mug I was cleaning. "You," a familiar voice spoke, and I knew directly, who he was talking to. I turned around to see him standing at the counter, waiting to order as it seemed.
"Yea," I started, totally not stuttering and scared shitless, "how can I help you?"
"Coffee. Black," he said, much to not only my surprise but also his executives, who looked almost shocked by his order. Since when does he drink coffee? But I did not question it further and made his order while the five men took a seat in the back of the room. As soon as they sat down, life came back into the room, and people started to talk again.
I gripped the coffee and brought it to their place, hoping that it would be it and I could leave them be. But of course not. When I wanted to turn around and leave them be, I felt a hand on my wrist holding me tight.
"Meet us behind the cafe after your shift. Don't even think about running away."
Besides the fact that I was then contemplating if I should call the police on the biggest gang in Tokyo, my shift went well. Bonten left after their boss finished his coffee and paid.
It quickly became dark outside, and my coworkers and I were now finishing cleaning the place before closing up.
Was running away even an option? Yea, because running away from a gang, known to kill people and everyone they love, is very smart. So I did not run away. Luckily.
Walking behind the building, I saw an expensive car standing there with an oh-so-familiar pink-haired man waiting outside, looking like he was way too high, to be allowed outside the house.
When he saw me, however, a giant grin formed on his face," Ey seems like you have a brain. Good job not trying to run away. You know Mikey would have been quite upset if you tried that, right?"
Guilt trip. Thanks, Sanzu.
I just nodded. He opened the car door in the back, and I went inside. Surprisingly it was only Sanzu and me in the car. Mikey must trust him a lot to leave him alone with me and also fucking high.
"You know you're quite lucky," he started while driving the car like a normal, not high human, "Some of us wanted to kidnap you for Mikey, yet he was strictly against that."
He must have seen the surprise and fear in my eyes as he started to laugh like a maniac right after. But why now? Why was Mikey so keen on getting me to their place? And how did he know when I stopped working-?
Before I could ask Sanzu any of the too many questions in my head, we arrived. Again he opened the door for me and got a bag from the trunk.
As we went inside, we were greeted by stares and loud music. A few familiar faces from earlier in the day, some other men and women. But was unable to talk to any of the people, since Sanzu just reminded me that Mikey was waiting in his office.
The building was giant, and we probably walked a good few minutes before we stopped at what I presumed was Mikey's office. Sanzu knocked carefully but loud enough. He only opened the door after hearing a quiet "come in" from the other side.
Sanzu opened the door for me, pushed the bag into my arms, and closed the door right after I went a few steps into the room.
And again, I was greeted by luxury and a giant office that seemed to be connected to a bedroom and bathroom. Right in front of me, parallel to the door was a desk where paper was scattered. Mikey looked down, reading one of the pages before looking up. He put the paper down and smiled at me.
"Y/N," he said with a happy voice, which I probably have not heard coming out of him forever. Alone hearing him say my name made me smile as well, even though I should have been terrified. I was in the presence of a new Mikey. He was no longer the sweet young boy he once was, and I once loved him.
"Manjiro," I spoke out, which made his smile disappear, " as happy I am to see you again after years, what is going on?"
He got up from his chair, moved toward me, and sat down on his desk, pulling me closer to him and catching me in a hug. "I missed you so much y/n," he whispered into my ear. A shiver went down my spine, which made him laugh out loud.
Snuggling his face into my neck, Mikey mumbled stuff that I was unable to understand. We stood like this for a few more minutes before he let go and looked into my eyes.
If we were younger, I would have been head over heels for him at that moment. But time has passed. I was the one that left, but he did not stop me. So why now?
"'Jiro, I am serious. Why now? Why would you come and get me now and did not come like 12 years ago when I still loved you?" I asked him. Mikey only scoffed at that, looked away from me, went to a tiny bar, and grabbed himself a drink.
"You know I never forgot you. I was always making sure you were safe. I just never had the time to get you. Now that I have all of this, I can finally get you home."
Okay. Excuse me?
Did this man just seriously confess that he stalked me for the last few years only to then think, he could take me away from the life I have created for myself? After years of mourning my friend's deaths, years of being alone, and having to work out everything on my own, he has the balls to just come to me and say that he never forgot me.
"I am leaving, " I spoke out before trying to get out of the room. I was done with him. To even think that there may be a bit left of the boy I loved was a joke. "Y/N, you don't want to do this," he called out, which made me stop. What?
"You know, Bonton. You know my people. And you are very much aware of my mental instability, as you may call it."
And he was not wrong. I knew what his gang was able to do, as well did I knew about how psychotic he had become over the years.
"So what," I spoke quietly, stopped right in front of the door, and slowly turned back to look at him, "What am I supposed to do now? Be all of a sudden your perfect partner that never leaves your side? Love you unconditionally while you are out there killing people and won't allow me to do what I love?"
I did not intend to scream at him, but it just came out. I started to cry as well but did not realize it until he moved closer and wiped the tears away, kissing me on my cheek. I was too stunned to do anything, my emotions taking over me, and also terrified that he may hurt me. After all, everything could happen with Mikey.
But he did not hurt me. He just stood there and waited for me to calm down and moved me onto the couch, that was placed on the right side of the room.
He pushed my back against his chest, all while petting my hair and hushing me.
Maybe looking back, I should not have given in so quickly, but I moved closer to him, turning around to push my face into his chest.
We stayed like this for what felt like hours. Just us, like old times. But yet the feeling that this was just one moment and will not be forever never left. Guess I never stopped loving Manjiro, but I was too scared to get into his life.
For the time being, it was just us. But I knew that things could get out of hand quickly.
