two essential skills for artists

“good enough” and “fuck it”

“good enough” is when you are working on something and are happy with most of it but can live with a few imperfections, useful when needing to move on from sketch to inking/coloring or what have you.

“fuck it” is when you absolutely hate what you’re doing every step of the way but you post it anyways, very useful during art blocks.

both are useful to help you move on and not obsess over making it perfect, because art is anything but perfect, even photo realistic artists probably see imperfections that someone else might not catch 

these can also be applied to other things in life

Well... thank you! <3 I am editing videos for - officially this year - ten years now so I would like to think that I get better and better with each video I make since I still always learn something new. The video you mentioned I wouldn’t be able to make it back in 2010 when I first started like I did it in 2017. And I am not always 100% happy with the results I get on my videos and there are many times that videos I started making never got completed. But I always try for the best possible result and more often than not it works. So yeah, I think that I do have some talent in editing. And thank you so much for saying it so too! <3

Are you staying home from work or school?

Neither. I don’t have a job and I was through with school for several years now. I’m staying home from the gym, does that count? :P

Are you a homebody?

Well... I was used being to the gym most days of the week at least but other than that I didn’t go out as much as I would like tbh so yes, I guess...

An event that you were looking forward to that got cancelled.

The event that I was looking forward to happened a few days ago before the quarantine begun so I didn’t miss it. Small blessings.

What movies have you watched recently? What shows are you watching?

I rewatched the third season of La Casa De Papel with my mother, I finally finished season 2 of Peaky Blinders, I binge-watched 911: Lone Star...  The latest movie I watched was Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears. And I’m sure I’ll have more to watch during the quarantine.

What music are you listening to?

Anything really, I don’t care.

What are you doing for self care?

A lot of sleeping and coating my hands in hand cream because my hands are dry with all the handwashing... Also, a bit of exercising when I have the time.
