Because of this, majority of the funds raised have been used to stave off starvation as famine sweeps through beseiged Gaza. There is a glimmer of hope on the horizon: there is a possibility of the Rafah crossing reopening, meaning people can evacuate once more. It is Mahmoud's greatest wish to evacuate his family, especially his parents as soon possible, and because of this, we've increased the goal amount in hopes of collecting enough money to evacuate the Balousha family.
