The Vees... but as humans! I loved seeing Vox's human past this season, and now I really want to see the other Vees' history! So, naturally I drew my interpretation.

It was a fun challenge to try matching a different art style, which is not something I'm very good at typically. Also, outfits are hard.

Shout out to my friends for finally talking me into watching this show, because now the hyperfixation has me. (I choose to blame Christian Borle, give that man more villain songs!!! also give valentino a solo he can really sing)

Introducing Quinn Austen, the protagonist of the story! A seemingly ordinary Long Island teen with an ordinary life, who, on her 18th birthday discovers that there is much more to her world than expected. As she races to protect those she loves from the eldritch doomsday cult her mother once belonged to, she uncovers a world of magical conflict, allies, and enemies from unexpected places!

Sooo... the webcomic is happening! I don't have a timeline yet, especially with EMT school ramping up next semester, but actually semi-finalizing a design for Quinn is a strong step!

After my Freya drawing, I've gone back to a more simple/cartoony style, like how I used to draw, and I actually really like how it's turning out! Now the name of the game is simplify, simplify, simplify. All her old designs were wearing a flannel, but plaid is super annoying to draw over and over again. So, a graphic tee of her favorite show (starring these two pictured here!) is the compromise. I might still change a thing or two, but here she is!!

Also the colors look sooo much more ashy on my computer monitor than they did on my ipad when I was drawing, so like... is she ashy?? lmk!

Edit: Apparently tumblr just compresses images and reduces the color quality, so that's fun.

One day I will properly start the webcomic about these guys (and the rest of their team!) but for now, figuring out designs for fake magazine covers will have to do.
