Fates Week 2026 | Day 1 - Favorite (Azura & Nyx) look, we all know i'm going to be drawing aqua the entire week - i'm not even gonna pretend to be subtle about it

it goes without saying that aqua is my absolute #1 uncontested favorite, but as previously noted, i also love nyx a lot, and if aqua did not exist, nyx would be my favorite. so obviously i drew both. except i started this too late in the afternoon and didnt have the spoons to finish it, rip.

i always build them the same way (galewarp nonsense), so i feel like they ought to at least be well acquainted in my playthroughs, as they play similar roles. but also i feel like nyx and aqua would be kindred spirits and really wish they got to interact at all. i hc them as friends or at least comfortable companions, and that nyx is something of a very loose mentor figure for aqua when it comes to magic. i dont think i would ship them romantically, but they would be fantastic platonic partners if i ever went down that route.
