and he smiled, but in his eyes lingered the sorrow of the Targaryen line
how am I supposed to do a quick drawing in these conditions.
As a little girl, Elodie never dreamed of being a mermaid like so many of her peers. She was afraid of deep water and sharks, always sticking to the shallows or the beach itself. How could she have known her eventual fate? On vacation swimming over a reef she wasnāt comfortable around, with coworkers she didnāt even really like, sheās bitten by something she canāt describe. What follows is a more hellish week of her life than she could have ever anticipated even in her worst nightmares. Itching, scale like rashes. Strange developments of webbed flesh. Slowly drying out, no matter how much she drank or bathed. The dreams of so many others became her horrible reality in a harrowing fight for her life. The loss of her job, her apartment, her legs.
Thereās more to her story⦠I may tell it later š

i would love to know about your warden's story and their relationship with loghain, if you feel like sharing!! š
Oh, thank you for asking, I really appreciate it!
My Hero of Ferelden is named Solona Amell, and her biography is essentially the same as the game's canon.
Perhaps the only thing that distinguishes her story from the game is her visions. She's not a somniari, but her dreams have always been more vivid and realistic. Over the years, they will worsen, greatly affecting her mental state.
Amell entered the Circle quite late, at the age of 16 or 17, because her family hid her magical abilities for a long time, employing hired apostate mages to try to contain her gift. But eventually, the truth was revealed, and she found herself in the Circle of Magi.
She takes great care in her appearance, often using illusion spells to appear flawless. In the events of DATV, she uses a magical artifact to maintain her appearance.
And the most important thing is her relationship with Loghain. Oh, it's all very complicated here too. For Amell, leaving Loghain alive was a logical, albeit difficult, decision. Alistair's departure from the Grey Wardens was a very heavy blow for her; she took his action as a betrayal. The way he praised the order, and how easily he abandoned it, outraged her. I think that, in-game, this can be compared to Alistair's hardening: I think that was also a turning point in Amell's life. What happened forced her to conclude that no matter how much she tried to adapt to others and make herself comfortable, she would never please everyone.
I'm sure that during their brief journey through Ferelden after the Landsmeet, Loghain and Solona developed a deep respect for each other. Loghain wrote to her while he was serving in Orlais, but despite this, their communication was still full of sarcasm and toxicity, and this kind of interaction is more a consequence of loneliness. One day, fate brings them together again when Solona comes to Orlais for political reasons, where they are forced to collaborate again, and well... Loghain develops a liking for her and hates himself for it. Despite this, he leaves with her for Amaranthine afterward.
Hawke: Carry on. I love to eavesdrop.
Varric: "Hawke said sarcastically."
Hawke: You know I hate it when you do that.
Varric: "Hawke muttered in an angry aside to the dwarf..."
....I just really love this dialogue and I laugh a lot at how Hawke gets irritated by Varric's writing.

What is your response to the idea that "Jaime in A Feast For Crows is deflecting all responsibility by blaming his failings on Cersei"?
that ppl should read the books bc then they will see that he is not doing that :) like jaime trying to hold his own trial by regularly having Ilyn Payne beating him w a sword is not about Jaime blaming Cersei lol. Jaime saying that he almost did the worst thing he ever might have done (maim or kill Arya) just because Cersei told him to in the throes of passion is not Jaime blaming Cersei. itās āthe things I do for loveā not āthe things you make me do for your loveā
I do find it generally ridiculous that so many pplās takeaway from Jaimeās chapters is that heās a man avoiding accountability when imo itās clear that he almost craves it lmao. thatās why he denies literally nothing when Cat demands the truth of what he did to Bran, and thatās why he confesses absolutely everything to Ilyn Payne besides. he is always sat there looking at his best deeds in one hand and his worst in the other and wondering if itās even possible they could be balanced and coming up w nothing and almost demanding ppl like Ilyn Payne and the blackfish just put him out of his fucking misery lol. when he wonders how he became the smiling knight, it is because he knows he is responsible for the man he became. thereās no helping the fact that some ppl will blame Cersei, but the point is that Jaime does not
BAELOR I THE BLESSED
"āBut Baelor the Blessed was a great king. He walked barefoot along the Bone Road to make peace with Dorne, and rescued a Dragon Knight from a snake pit. The vipers refused to bite him because he was so pure and holyā¦ā
Ā© Sansa Stark about Baelor I
Some consider him a great, even holy king, who did much for his country, while others consider him a madman, an irresponsible fool, and prone to hallucinations and religious fanaticism.
