I remember reading Persepolis way back in the 2000s - it was my first introduction to the Islamist revolution in Iran, and Marjane Satrapi instantly became one of my heroines. Her untimely passing is a dagger to the heart. May her memory be a blessing, and may all her loved ones find comfort in this time of grief 🖤

I don't know if anyone else agrees with me, but writing interesting male characters in a fantasy world is MUCH easier than writing interesting male characters in realistic fiction (like one set in a school or something). Strangely, the complete opposite happens with female characters for me.

Is this normal, or am I just weird?
