Crows normally walk. This one seems to have both legs working, so he’s not hopping out of necessity, he’s doing it for fun. Corvids can sometimes be seen doing things like this for no evident reason other than enjoyment.

I feel like this is also really stimulating for the hamster and a good way to keep it both entertained and happy in a home so its not just in a cage all day.  It looks like its having fun.

Yes!! Unfortunately hamster balls are used for hamster stimulation many times and they can be quite dangerous and scary for the hamster. Letting them run free and have fun and stimulate their minds like this is so awesome!! Goals for sure!

Once you get them feeling safe and loved, it’s easy to train them with reward systems (like sunflower seeds) I trained my hamster/s to climb lego stairs and mazes using treats and they enjoyed doing it (even without rewards or given the option to just rest and chill)
