You know what gets me about these fanboys clutching their pearls about Rey’s parentage? Jedi–you know, the big prominent Force users in the series–didn’t routinely go out and have kids. Most of the old Masters weren’t from anywhere special. Anakin and Obi Wan didn’t come from powerful families of Force users.

They came from nowhere, just like Rey, and they were powerful. So why can’t she be no one too?
