When a large group of kids are on the run there's only so much that they can do. Forging identities for all of them was going to be extremely difficult since there were 10 of them.

Danny, Tucker, Sam, Valerie, Jazz, Dash, Star, Paulina, Kwan and Dani who they grabbed on the way while running away from Amity Park. They were lucky since they got up before the GIW closed the rest of the town.

They could hide away in a sketchy town for a while but they weren't going to be able to go back home. On top of the fact that their existence is technically illegal because of the ecto contamination of Amity Park. But if anyone was to ask they could just use the excuse of having meta powers.

The number one thing they had to do was trust each other and that included Danny telling the others of his secret. Which turned out not to be much of a secret because they figured as much.

So back to the problem at hand, the oldest person and their group was Jazz who's 16 and the youngest being Dani who was 12. They needed shelter and some form of way of getting money so they had to come up with an idea.

It wasn't Danny's idea nor was it even Valerie's, if they really thought about it they weren't exactly sure who came up with the idea but they ran with it. The one type of organization that gets donations on top of not getting taxed by the government. And they do say that you only need three people to start a religion.

And like that somehow without even realizing it they created a church. They found an abandoned church on the outskirts of a city that was nearby. They cleared it out and made repairs as best as they could with the abilities they did have.

They decided to lean into it so no one would get suspicious they even made uniforms for everyone. It was simple and didn't have much to it and they weren't following any particular God. Aside from the fact that Dash and Paulina did have major crushes on Phantom and they joked about making Danny God. It was an inside joke for them and them alone, it wasn't supposed to get far.

Think about writing a story where Venti is the reincarnation of Venti. In Greek mythology, I'm thinking of having him when Cronus was torn into pieces, one of those pieces became Venti.

If this is Ghost King Danny, or even judt friend of most of the Ancients Danny then you can have it become harassing a foreign diplomat or royal.

Let the Justice League have to actual tamp down on the Bats bad behaviors, he calls them out on theirs often enough.

Batman is protective to the point of paranoia. Worst part is, he almost always has reason to be. He's so used to being proven right by his paranoia, I don't think he can function without it.

Even with this, I can think of a few potential stories in which his insistence in hounding Danny, somehow ends up being exactly what saves the day later on.

It's just things like that. Batman is a member of the Justice League, but he was also the leader of the Justice Lords.

It's not even just him. Wonder Woman has a bad habit of enabling violence in all of those Else-Worlds story-lines. Superman... well, I'm not a fan of Injustice, but it's there. Aquaman has invaded or declared war on the land multiple times.

As much as everyone (in and out of universe) hates to admit it, Batman's paranoia has a purpose and has saved their asses many times.

Doesn't mean it doesn't suck to be on the receiving end.

Most of Gotham's population is descended from Danny and Sam.

Batman was looking at Jason Todd's DNA test, which showed they shared a common ancestor.

This wouldn't be a problem if he'd been the only one to test for Tim Drake, Stephenie Brown, and Barbara Gordon.

The strangest thing about all of this was Richard Grayson, but when he researched it, he found that his grandfather was a Gothamite, so he most likely shared this ancestor.

To further confirm this, he randomly tested the DNA of 100 Gotham residents.

The percentage was 72%.So he began researching and discovered who Gotham's ancestor was: Danny Nightingale and Sam Nightingale, a married couple who lived in the area that would become Gotham in the mid-17th century and had 37 sons and daughters.

Imagine if it was Batman genuinely trying to do good, like he found this random teen (adoption bait) that was just wandering around Gotham and pickpocketing people for money for things, even having attempted to pickpocket him, so he did what he always does when it comes to these sort of teens and adopted her like he dud Jason.

But, after just a week of being stuck in the mansion her personality has almost completely changed and no one in the Batfan can figure out why (her core wants out, her obsession isn't being filled, let her go, let her out of this cage), they can tell that she's suddenly jumpy, desperate to get out, but since she's only getting sicker they don't want her to leave.

Things don't come to a head until an Arkam break out that calls for all hands on deck, and I mean ALL hands on deck. Since this leaves Ellie completely alone in the manor she's able to break out, to run and be free, only to get caught by Joker. Ellie gets thrown into one of his schemes and threatened on live television, Joker calling for the bats to save her. The bats are scared for multiple reasons, but no matter what they do they can't get there in time.

Just as they think they're about to watch the newest member of their family die John Fucking Constantine comes from bloody nowhere and body slams the Joker away from her and do some magic shit that kills the Joker. He then immediately got Ellie free saying "We need to get you back to your dad asap" and "The Infinite Realms can only hold him back for so long" before taking her back to who knows where.

The next time either of them are seen was a month later on the other side of the US with Ellie talking to some sort of giant and absolutely terrifying man who was wearing strange roses on his body. (After Danny's freak out where the Infinite Realms itself had to hold him back from going on a rampage he decided to take a year off and travel with his daughter in his Ghost King form, and yes he is wearing blood blossoms, the previous king went mad with power and he didn't want to go mad so because blood blossoms weaken ghosts he decided to wear them to keep himself sane. Yes everyone told him this was a stupid and dangerous idea but because Clockwork didn't vetto it and only sent a cryptic sticky note that boiled down to "do what you think is best" he decided to wear blood blossoms.)

"Why would a being from another plane of existence raise a kidnapping case against you, Mr. Wayne?"

"It was a misunderstanding, and my team of lawyers is trying to reach out to the Phantom King's visitors to find a solution."

"Haha, a misunderstanding. The Phantom King's daughter was transformed into a human and wanted to explore the planet, but because she wasn't used to her human form, she encountered health problems. Dani was destabilizing. Kon, as a fellow clone, offered to get her help which she agreed to and flew off to the Watchtower before Phantom could get to her. John calls the watchtower like “any of you dipshits kidnap a ghost in the past 24 hours?” And Kon is like “…well I didn’t kidnap her but I did save a ghostly clone from destabilizing if that’s what you mean?”

And both John and Phantom sigh in relief and John teleports them to the Watchtower where Phantom beelines for her and tries his best not to rip Kon’s head off for stealing his kid. Dani sees this and reassures Phantom she’s ok and promises to call him first next time, and Kon apologizes for not informing Phantom that he was trying to save her.

The creature walked away and didn't give him another look.

Danny didn't understand why he'd become the Ghost King.Yes, he'd defeated the previous king, but wasn't it as if the Infinite Realms needed a king?

He went to see Frostbite to ask him why he had a crown of stars on his head,

telling him he was the Infinite King.He reached the Frozen Lands and called out to Frostbite.

"Frostbite, my friend, I need your help quickly."

"My Lord, how can I help you?"

"My friend, can you explain to me why I have this crown?"

Frostbite looked at him as if telling him the Ice Age was over and the heat crisis was upon him.

"My Lord, do you know why Pariah Dark became the Ghost King?"

"Didn't he just appear one day with a ring and a crown and declare himself Ghost King?"

Frostbite laughed as if he'd just heard the funniest joke of his life.

After ten minutes, Frostbite stopped laughing and told him:

"Pariah became Dark because he defeated Ancient Ghosts."

"I mean, I still don't understand who Ancient Ghosts are, and are you one of them?"

"Ancient Ghosts are the pinnacle of every type of Ghost. For example, Undergrowth is the pinnacle of Plant Ghosts. Pandora is the pinnacle of Protection Ghosts. Prince Aragon is the pinnacle of Dragon Ghosts, but after losing to his sister, Prince Aragon became the Dragon Ancient instead."

"Wait, all we need to do to become Ancient is defeat the Ancient himself?"

"You must defeat him in an official challenge, and in his own domain, and why Pariah Dark."

"Okay, we talked a lot, but you still haven't explained why I'm the goddamn Ghost King?"

"Because to become the Phantom King, you must defeat all the Ancients, or they must believe you are qualified to be the Phantom King."

I LOVE IT and the idea is fun and all.

But The Phantom King thing confuses me badly, as Phantom is Danny's name. While it sounds more cooler The Ghost King would be far recognizable.

And the conditions are said to be "defeat all Ancients OR get their appoval", which Pariah defeat them did but did not get their approval. So does that mean it IS necessary or...what?

Also, "Pariah became Dark" means he got his name by BECOMING the Ghost King?

"You must defeat him in an official challenge, and in his own domain, and why Pariah Dark" is what? And why Pariah IS Dark? IS the Ghost King?

The idea of the Ancients representing a type of ghosts was such a cool idea!

Yes, Pariah Dark had a name before he was the Ghost King.

Your name as a Ghost King expresses your existence. He was an Ancient of Darkness and Shadow, possessing an essence like Johnny 13.

Pariah Dark defeated some of the Ancients, not all of them, and he didn't gain recognition, but he defeated most of them, which is why the Infinite Realms recognized him as the Ghost King.

The official challenge is what Danny did in the trailer, challenging Pariah Dark in his castle. In the story I intend to write, the Ghosts are stronger in their own land.

Diana never knew what happened to her child.

She and Clark were in a relationship, got pregnant, and started dating seriously.

Many of those who survived died from the inability to find food, as most living things on Earth were affected.

Jazz was one of those who survived the radiation, but she developed cancer, and he watched her slowly die.

Tucker died instantly.

Sam spent a year fighting cancer until she died.

He tried to spend more time with the survivors.

Danny sat alone on a planet where only he was alive. Because of the radiation, the door to the Infinite Realms was closed.

Tears began to stream down his face.

"I wish things were different."

"Sam, I don't understand why so many of my children say I don't care and that I'm the main reason they turned evil."
