Counter argument to Saiki k swimming arc post:

Akechi wouldn't pee in the pool. (on purpose) He has the pool rules memorised, knows the chemistry that makes chlorine work, and knows how urine uses up the disinfectants in the water making outbreaks of bacteria more likely.

If his classmates tried to stop him, he would sneak in when they weren't looking. Then he would explain everything he knows about pools to whoever he could, including an explanation of why he never pees in the pool any more, unlike the shower.

Nendo would pee in the pool.

We stood around, looking at each other, not quite knowing what to do with ourselves at first.

After many moments of silence, one by one, and slowly at first, we all put down our weapons, solemnly nodded to the rest, and went our separate ways. None of us knew if we'd ever see each other again after that one wild day, but we knew we'd never forget the friendships we made. No matter how life changed us, we'd always have the day we booped.

head-canon: after moving away, kusuke goes everywhere with a notepad and pen and everyone from his professors to his peers just attribute it to him being a total genius needing scratch paper on hand 24/7. (though he never writes anything on the pages anyway. probably a weird genius quirk or something, they assume.)

on a completely unrelated note, every other week since kusuo’s older brother moved away, he’s received a letter in the mail from kusuke! his friends and parents are always a little confused at the letter’s contents and WHY kusuo’s always quick to open it, going “knowing him he has a LOT to say which is annoying.”

the letters are just blank pages torn out of a notepad, after all.

was randomly thinking about Big Hero 6 the other day and how it’s just. a phenomenal movie. i can’t speak to the superhero movie genre because marvel has tainted it so much for me so i haven’t seen many others but. i’m just so in love with it. the story was good. each character’s design and gimmick was so good. plus it overall being a story about grief was something that kinda flew over my head when i was little but appeals to me so much more now.

it came out when i was like. in elementary school and it’s had a place in my heart since. i think i might love it a little more now that i’m older. i need to watch it again.
