another thing to note is that as the earth warms, not just will evaporation increase, but the warmer atmosphere will also be able to hold much more water, which will make these wet bulb events even more common and intense as time goes on. I will stress here that these events are incredibly dangerous, and certainly past that 35°C threshold, it would be impossible to exist in these conditions without some form of air conditioning or other form of active cooling that doesn't rely on water evaporating from your skin. past this point, sweating stops cooling you, and even just existing will eventually cause you to slowly cook in your own sweat.
with that fact aside though, the global south always seem to be baring the brunt of the effects of the climate crisis, and it is infuriating (although not surprising) that not enough is being done. these events happening anywhere should be treated with equal concern, especially as the threshold for something which is completely unsurvivable is now dangerously close to being breached.
