My whole entire life I tried to find why I didn't care for sex. Went to a psychiatrist, did bloodwork to see if my hormones were okay, and even though nothing seems wrong physically a doctor even offered me testosterone in gel to try and increase my libido, even though I did not have a hormone imbalance.

I always thought sex when dating an Allo person should be a compromise. Yeah, once a week or every two weeks idk. It's like going to the movies to watch something you don't really want to, but you go because your partner wants your company, you know?

I'm going out with this precious person. Fucking amazing. He was horrified I even tried to take hormones for something I don't even want to feel. I told him my idea of "it's not THAT bad, I can handle sex once or twice a month"

and he's all like "what the fuck, no? I've got hands? And I can watch something and get off myself? You don't owe sex anytime ever, if you never want it that's so fucking okay."

So, for all you asexual people who think the only way you may be able to find love is with another asexual person, sure that's an option, but it's not required. You just gotta find someone who's not shitty.

"Oh but my partner is amazing I just have to deal with sex once in a while when they need" NO. That's not amazing. If they ARE amazing they will not try to push sex on you.

Like genuinely imagine being Penelope having the love of your life stripped away from you and your newborn baby boy all because of a stupid oath made years ago, having to raise said baby ALONE for 10 years and praying to the gods above he makes it out alive and returns home safely and in one piece, then another 10 go by and you’re now bombarded by these men who only see you as a tool to become king, try to convince you to believe that your husband is dead and picking a fight with your son (this next bit is strictly odyssey version only) on top of that your own son barely even respects you just essentially going “go back to your weaving” despite you worrying nonstop about him and his safety just for him to disrespect you, ON TOP of these men who again only see you as a key to be king try to plot your sons murder and want to do unsavory things to you just for ppl and historians to characterize you as “odysseus wife there only for his trauma and comfort" when Penelope is so much more than just his wife shes a woman who had to do whatever it took to survive in a palace filled with men who only cared about the crown.

I know it's been a while since I logged on here, so I apologise for the absence.

Hello everyone, I hope all of you are having a good day.

The reason why I came here is to admit something I should've done a few years ago. I'm only turning 19 this year. I lied to everybody about being in college and having a job when I was just a kid in high school. Eventually the guilt was too much and I quit Tumblr as we all know it.

If any portion of the people seeing this cares enough, I want to say I'm sorry for lying. I figured this is the time to say it, as this time is as good as any other time. I haven't been feeling super hot but I hope everyone here has an amazing one, and I hope we all see better days.

This blog has been a really precious part of my life and I always come back here from time to time to see the little messages, replies, or anything you've sent me. It all made me feel so loved that my works were significant enough to you. I'm truly thankful.
