Thinking about Robby, who sheds his romantic partners deciduously, but comes back to Abbot over and over again. He gravitates towards him every time life gets hard. Maybe he hibernates with Abbot, sleeping in his bed while he works the night shift, eating his food, watching his tv shows. And Abbot can't even complain because it's just proof that Robby is there and wants to stay there.

I don’t think people really appreciate how quickly Robby snaps out of his bad moods in season 1. He gets into it with McKay about her calling the cops, she shuts him down, 15 minutes later he tells her he’s sorry and he was wrong. He screams at Langdon over how he’s speaking to santos and then pretty quickly tries to make amends (it’s Langdon who ruins that with his paranoia). He has his break and cries and sobs on the floor and really imo pulls himself together remarkably quickly after that.

Idk just something I’m noticing. He doesn’t really sink into his bad moods until season 2. That’s how you know he’s really really bad.

You know my absolute favourite detail about Emma? She shows up PREPARED. She has pockets full of pens and notepads and equipment. And it's a bit of a visual gag that Dana takes them all off her without saying anything, the implication being this ain't nursing school, kid

But like. Emma doesn't show up clueless. She's taken time to think about and plan for her first day. She wants to make a good first impression. She really really wants to learn and she takes every opportunity to do so. She asks really insightful questions, but she also listens to the answer and then puts what she learns into practice on her first day.

That's not a naive kid. That's a well-qualified and talented woman in a really high-stress work environment. Show her some respect!
