crudely drawn in yellow ink on rumpled pages i drew someone who looked like me but like her curling hair like the clouds that formed my only company eyes as bright as the sun and a smile that could outshine stars with 5 appendages to match me and 9 orifices to match her his skin was hers but he bled like me

i made you and i couldnt stop repeating you your face drawn on countless pages then she let me create you she saw my vision as significant as her own and smiled down upon me she brought me to harvest clay to pluck out the most sturdy of evening clouds and to bring down stars that would decorate him i molded your body with the help of a wheel she spun i brought you up and then i cut you from it

i shaped you with my two hands made impressions for 10 phalanges pushed down where your eyes would be and brought out your nose i scraped your lips together and pulled out your ears i sew golden clouds into the wet clay as eyebrows hair and fur i pushed stars into your skin anywhere that wasnt quite right i then dug out your insides and i fired you

our separation during that time broke me enough she promised me life and your life in turn she swore and she instructed me to make more two halves of your stone womb an egg for your gestation and birth and when it was all ready she kissed you and told me to kiss your womb to seal it she set you down lent over the celestial realm to set you where she decided suit you best

when you broke out she gave me to you too she formed my egg the same two halves and she set me on your mountain and let you crack me open a new brother for you a lover yours until the end just as you are mine
