My problem with behaving like people in public is that I'm willing to put up with any rancid conduct from other people unless I get actually angry enough to physically fight somebody. After that it's a game of chicken on which one of us is willing to escalate this situation further, and guess what I've already made my choice, either you step back first or we're both getting arrested.

If you think that the person who actually throws the first punch and escalates the conflict to physical violence is the only one who's getting arrested when two adults start brawling in public, you've got some rosy and sheltered ideas of how cops and the legal system works. No part of what I said involves me being the one to punch first, or having any assumptions that I would win that fight.

I have no plans to successfully beat the shit out of a stranger for loudly playing TikToks in public. My plan is being the final straw to be the reason they lose custody of their damn kids in court for beating the shit out of me for telling them to stop playing loud TikToks in public.
