“bits to use in everyday conversations”
My very first tiger drawing and my latest
Your skill level is unquestionable but listen.
I love him.
me also. as well.
This is the COOLEST thing I’ve seen in AGES. You both completely made my entire week.
Every time a knight outgrows their armor, all of the knights line up to swap armor down a row. Like hermit crabs.
the more you listen to it, the funnier it gets
Audio: dramatic piano. The husky screams along, vaguely keeping the rhythm but not the tune
That last ROO always gets me
i can’t stop thinking about the time my roommate and i asked our insanely ripped neighbor brian who wore flip flops year round and sunglasses on the back of his head for help with carrying a solid wood dresser up to our apartment. he wanted to get his son who was home from college to come help too so he takes out his phone and goes, “siri, call christian christianson” and turns speaker phone on while we stand there sort of stunned by the name and after a few rings cc answers, “what the hell do you want” and brian just hangs up without responding and is all, “kids, am i right” then carries the dresser up four flights of stairs pretty much by himself. we offered him a six pack of rainier as thanks which he immediately opened in our kitchen and downed 2/6 beers in 10 mins while telling us about his 1989 dodge ram 1500 he was trying to get his son to restore with him to no avail. really nice guy. we never saw his son before he went back to school but any time i ask my roommate for help with lifting stuff or reaching something he says, “siri, call christian christianson” and we reminisce about brian and his truck.
i told my dad the joke “dad jokes are just mom jokes that a man repeated louder” and he thought it was hilarious. he turned to my mother, intending to relay the joke to her, and a bare second after he opened his mouth i watched it dawn on his face that he was about to become the subject of the joke. when i tell you that man was slackjawed as he turned back to me, like he had an entire life altering realization in the span of about 20 seconds.
lukewarm vampires
no listen to me vampires are only "cold" compared to living humans who have a pulse built-in heating unit. but it's not like they have built in refrigeration. the undead aren't actually "cold" per se at best they're room temperature. lukewarm vampires
a vampire's temperature should vary based entirely on their surrounding temperature. they're only described as “cold” bc they spend so much time in dank dark dwellings, when actually they're the temperature of a water balloon that's been sitting around for awhile
(incidentally that's also why too much direct sunlight kills them, they expand so fast they explode)
Anyone at the sauna/hot spring is a potential vampire
saying something you know will make people laugh. And they do laugh.
making a collection
Wait I have more
"can you explain this large gap in your resume?"
yeah I tried to move an image in Word
AMD GOD GAVE THE BEAST-KINGS GIFTS THAT THEY MIGHT SHARE WITH THEIR PEOPLE:
To the Wolf, god gave ripping teeth, and the Law of the Pack.
To the Bear, god gave crushing jaws, and terrible strength
To the Falcon, god gave slicing talons, and great sight
And to the Shrimp, god gave the concussive plasma cannon.
this is one of my favourite posts; finally got around to finishing this
the consequences of my actions seem concerningly obsessed with me

Lord, grant me the strength to throw away this box that i'll never use, the courage to throw away this box that i'll never use, and the wisdom to throw away this box that i'll never use
spotify is Pissing me off so im just gonna locally download all my (2.7k......) songs. Cant give me ads if theyre local mp3s. bitch.
soooooo does anyone know of any good programs for yoinking music from spotify with metadata included (one way or another idc if it matches it to youtube videos or not) or am i gonna hgave to manually go through all 2.7k songs myself
this might have metadata
Download songs, albums and playlists from Spotify instantly.
it seems to only do up to 100? which, i have. like 2.7k songs i wanna download
i will always shill for spotdl. it's a primarily command line tool which is an obvious turnoff for many but it's a phenomenal lil program
Download your Spotify playlists and songs along with album art and metadata
highly rec pairing it with mediamonkey so you can quickly sync your music to a phone or ipod
my tags:
Heres all the things I mentioned!
Should mention you may want to learn port forwarding for using soulseek/nicotine+ to share your own files, some people wont share their files to people that aren't sharing themselves.
Soulseek
Graphical client for the Soulseek peer-to-peer network
And for editing tags in bulk:
Mp3tag is a powerful and easy-to-use tool to edit metadata of audio files.
Official website for MusicBrainz Picard, a cross-platform music tagger written in Python.
Finding album covers in high res:
Search for high quality album covers from various online streaming services, music stores and databases.
Also gonna include some music players I like:
https://getmusicbee.com/
Install via EXE, Flatpak or the Arch User Repository.
So far as iOS goes, this is the only one that supports replaygain and doesn't have in-app purchases, no lastfm support tho:
foobar2000 mobile is an advanced audio player for mobile devices. Main features: * Supported audio formats: MP3, MP4, AAC, Vorbis, Opus, F
I'm not too familiar with android but the best one I found during a time I was planning to swap to android (still am eventually) is this:
Musicolet is a small yet powerful offline Music Player for Android, which organizes and plays local audio-files stored on your device.
Lucida.to is for downloading everything except Spotify (Qobuz, Tidal, Soundcloud, Deezer, Amazon Music, and Yandex Music). Tidal, Deezer and Qobuz tracks are FLAC (lossless, not compressed, best quality and biggest file size), and if you like you can convert them to mp3, at a bitrate of your choice, directly from lucida. Or you can run an audio converter.
To support the artists, the absolute BEST thing you can do is buy a ticket* and go to a concert. The NEXT best thing is buying merch, or donating via Patreon or similar. And the THIRD best thing is Bandcamp. All other legal streaming sites give a tragically tiny income to most artists. Spotfiy, among its other sins, gives zero income to those who aren't popular enough.
* actually this may not apply when the ticket seller is a giant monopoly that arbitrarily fixes prices. refer to local information for your local needs.
I also highly recommend Deemix, which downloads music straight from Deezer (a competitor of Spotify). The program isn't being worked on anymore, but it still works perfectly for me and most people. You can download the last release here:
This is the last update of deemix, a Deezer downloader library and application. Includes binaries of the server and GUI for Windows, Mac and
