Project #6: Open Work For my final open work project, I decided to take an approach that best suited my personality. This fine piece is named "Anthony in Disguise(s)" and I had a lot of fun with this one. As it may have become apparent through the semester, I am not an art major. But what I do consider myself to be is creative. And since I haven't used myself in my art, I thought I'd start right at the end of the semester. For this work, I took aspects from the collage project and performance art project. When I started this, Andy Warhol's "Monroe" prints came to mind, and I thought I'd take an "Anthony" stance to his work. So I did. This open work represents what I feel my personality displays. A whole bunch of awesomeness crammed into one photo, basically. And while my face remains in the center of the photo with my signature, my face is replaced with even more awesome versions surrounding it. I thoroughly enjoyed this class this semester, and felt as if my creativity got a boost because of this class. Cheers!
