“this fic was written by AI”
it’s unfortunate that (some) people in fandom spaces are starting to get too comfortable complaining and being rude to writers and artists who create contents they personally don’t like (“why are you making this character a top when he’s obviously a bottom? omg do you even understand his character?” “I’m so sick of seeing fan art and fanfic where this character is portrayed as a sadist when he’s actually misunderstood in my opinions, therefore anyone who disagrees with me is wrong and should be shamed” just to name a few I’ve seen) instead of curating their own fandom experiences by engaging only with contents they do like.
you want more fics where (x) is written in this specific way? either write one yourself or politely expressing your opinion about how you hope there will be more fics where (x) is written in this specific way instead of making fandom a toxic place by being rude to writers and artists who dare make contents that are not to your Personal Liking.
if the universe does not revolve around you, strangers and fandom spaces don’t have to cater exclusively to your personal preferences either.
to all my beloved writers and artists, write whatever you want, draw whatever you want. portray that character in whichever way you want to portray. I hope you have fun doing what you love. don’t let anybody tell you what you can or can’t do with the blorbo. go wild. I will always support you
it may take me a month to put out a chapter but at least im not using ai to write it.

Hi! I know it's been a while and this post is sadly not related to any fics I'm working on.
This post is simply to let you guys know that the fanfics I posted on AO3 will from now on only be available to registered users. If any of you need an invite, let me know.
I appreciate a lot every single guest who has read, liked, and/or commented on my fics, but after AO3 was scrapped for AI I no longer feel comfortable with my work being public.
I also want to state my position regarding AI-generated material. While it is true that the archive allows such things, I do not appreciate it. As many people before me have already said, if you don't care enough to write it I don't care enough to read it. However, it's not only a matter of writing or reading, it's a matter of stealing the work of other people to train AI + the resources that it needs to generate something that has literally 0 value: no soul, no care, no fun invested; there is no joy in anything AI-generated. Therefore, not only will I NEVER use AI to create any form of art, I will actively mute and block users (both here and on AO3) that post AI-generated """works""".
I'll be stating the obvious now, but I do not authorise the use of my writing to train AI in any way, shape, or form. Please keep that shit away from me.
there’s absolutely nothing better than reading a 100k word fanfic, that is until you remember you have a body that is starving, thirsty and incredibly sleep deprived and hasn’t used the bathroom since the sun set 8 hours ago

I am a he/him in the same way Aziraphale is
The longer I live the less binary I feel
reblog if you’ve read fanfictions that are more professional, better written than some actual novels. I’m trying to see something
I write for myself
*checks AO3 every few hours to see if I got any new kudos, comments or subscriptions*

something drawn realistically to show an emotion
something drawn poorly to show an emotion
As we begin the month of October and many of the prompt fest such as Inktober, Kinktober, Whumptober, Flufftober, Podfic Fest, and all the others that will bring new content, a friendly hint:
Do. Not. Do. This.
Reposting artwork, fic, podfics, whatever without permission or credit is stealing. It’s also just a shitty thing to do at all times but especially right now in today’s climate with AI. I know it’s sad to lose content you get comfort from but this is not the answer. All it’s going to do is drive creators away.
We share our creations with love. Please don’t be an entitled asshole in return.
Kinda feel like there's some untapped meme/reaction image potential from old horror movie trailers...
I actually really like the thing when you're starting to get the hang of a new language, enough to understand and say simple sentences but you gotta get creative to get more complex thoughts across, like a puzzle. I remember a time in the restortation school when a classmate who wasn't natively finnish and did her best anyway dropped something and sighed, telling me "every day is monday this week. I have had four mondays this week." And I understood.
I don't think I speak much of spanish anymore, but in the nursing school training period I did there, I did manage to get by with making weird Tarzan sentences. I got a nosebleed at some point and startled another nurse. Not knowing the words "humidity" or "stress", I managed to string together: "This is ok. It is hot, it is cold, I have a bad day, I am sad, I have blood. This is normal for me." And she understood.
And sometimes you just say things weird, but it's better than not saying it. One time, I was stuck in a narrow hallway behind someone walking really slowly with a walker, and he apologised for being in the way. I was not in any hurry, but didn't know the spanish word for "hurry", but I did know enough words to try to circumvent it by borrowing the english "I have all the time in the world."
The man burst into one of those cackling old man laughters that they do when something in this world still manages to surprise them. He had to be somewhere between 70 and a 100 years old, and I guess if there was one thing he wasn't expecting to hear today, it would be a random blond vaguely baltic-looking fuck casually announce that he is the sole owner and keeper of the very concept of time.
I’ve mostly learned Chinese in school, so I know a lot of academic vocabulary while having the language skills of a toddler in some basic areas. Once, I forgot the word for sad, which is a really dumb thing to forget. A bunch of the ways to say sad in Chinese are literally just “not happy”, but I also momentarily forgot how to say happy. So instead I said “there is an economic downturn inside my brain”.
