Exhibit A: Catra gets frustrated that Shadow Weaver is back to telling Adora what to do

Exhibit B: Catra leaves out of frustration and Adora attempts to get Catra to come with her by convincing her she needs her and that saving the world is more important than the damage Shadow Weaver has done to them - and succeeds.

Exhibit C: Noticing that Shadow Weaver isn’t taking the failsafe herself, Catra quickly grabs Adora before she can get to the failsafe. *notice Shadow Weaver’s annoyance*

Exhibit D: Catra takes Adora’s hand like the crushing gay she is and demands Shadow Weaver to tell everyone the truth about the failsafe and the potential disasters that could occur *also notice how their hands interlock at the end 🥺*

Exhibit E: Adora tells Catra that she must take the failsafe even if her life is in danger. And what’s sad is that I don’t think Adora realizes how much Catra cares in that moment bc the only thing her heart is focusing on is the sole pressure she has to save the entire world.

Exhibit F: Catra realizes that even if Adora could lose her life, she would still take the failsafe and follow Shadow Weaver’s orders. In Catra’s perspective, she believes that Adora only truly will listen to Shadow Weaver and not her.

Exhibit G: Adora realizes that Catra left and chases after her. After losing her for a good 4.3ish seasons, she can’t let Catra go again.

Exhibit H: CATRA CANT DO THIS SHIT ANYMORE. After seeing Adora sacrifice herself for the failsafe and luckily surviving, Catra has no choice but to accept that Adora will never choose what she wants for herself. “What do you want, Adora?”

Exhibit I: Catra leaves Adora bc she thinks she’s making the right decision for herself. Why love someone when they won’t love themself first? I like how the screen pans out once Catra is out of the picture bc all you see is this empty space around Adora. It’s as if without Catra, Adora will always have this feeling of loneliness.

Exhibit J: I decided to put the whole clip instead of a gif bc this truly captures Adora’s anger/sadness. She realizes that Shadow Weaver has manipulated her yet again, with Catra leaving her in the process. AGAIN.

So basically I had to make a post about this because (mostly) kitty evolution? Like how she goes from this in the first season

to this in season 4 when she went full evil

to this in season 5 at the beginning when she’s in the middle of Horde Prime’s clones

and finally to this when she was heart eyes at Adora? Like I literally screamed when she finally got on the good side and yeah she’s still “fighting” Adora but it’s playful this time. I mean come on she’s a cat she’s bound to be an asshole with this xD.

like you can tell from the credits that she got more important and also that she is having some serious thoughts about her being evil?

And also the princesses where the change isn’t that obvious, but still:

First season and first princesses that were recruited and Spintossa are also there even though they weren’t so proeminent in the first season

Then in season 4 you have Mara and that shithead Flutterina we don’t talk about them

And then season 5 Scorpia is finally a princess AND CATRA IS THERE ON THE GOOD SIDE LIKE GAH

And the final one in which Netflix just went like ‘fuck it we’re gay let’s make it official’ and got Spintossa kissing on the motherfucking opening credits

… See this is why they don’t do a season 6 because they’d have to have Catradora together on the credits and that’s just a level of gay the universe can’t handle
