"wait!" jaehyun yelled, making you turn from the door. you stopped there, waiting patiently about what he wants to say.

"can.. can i get your number?" jaehyun mumbled quietly, his ears turning red. you froze, hearing what he just said.

well he is a bit cute and puppy like.. i suppose i can give him a try. you thought, walking over. "my number is xxx-xxx-xxxx..cutie." you whispered in his ears, making the last word teasing towards him.

jaehyun's face flushed red, making him hide under his hands. you smiled smugly, leaving the coffee shop. you started walking to your company, imagining how cooked you are. you dashed up to the 5th floor, running to your cubicle before your supervisor appears.

"y/n, why are you late? you're late as a manager!" your supervisor soobin sighed, standing and shaking his head in disappointment.

"i had to-" you tried to cough out what happened but your lungs weren't cooperating with you.

"she had to go grab her wallet from the coffee shop that she left it at!!" chaewon interrupted, winking at you.

"ugh, i'll let you off this time," soobin said before leaning in, "if you buy our group drinks tonight."

you scoffed, laughing at what he just said. "fine, i'll do it." you replied, opening up your laptop.

"what happened? spill." chaewon said, yanking your arm. you started explaining about what happened, the mix-up, number exchange, and what you said.

"you're GOING to pull him, trust." chaewon spun her chair back to her desk. you nodded, going back to working. you stared at your screen, looking at the masterpiece you created with your photos.

"wow, that's so pretty!!" your other best friend, haum said. "chaewon told me everything about what happened.. and i think that they want a photoshoot done with us!!"

you paused, turning to haum. "what???" you exclaimed. you walked to the window, watching boynextdoor's managers and them walking in.

"y/n! you are needed downstairs!" martin yelled through the office. you turned your head back, nodding and walking towards the elevator. you went downstairs, walking to the front desk.

"hi, are you the manager from the photoshoot department?" one of the managers asked. "i'm one of the managers of boynextdoor, kim minjun." he added on.

"yes, i am l/n y/n, the manager. nice to meet you!" you shook his hand and started talking about what kind of photoshoot will happen. after the conversation ended, you went back upstairs, saying bye to the front desk lady. you walked to soobin's office, walking in and telling him what they wanted.

"okay, i'll put this through and i want you to be the photographer for this." soobin stated to you. "also, a reporter business wants you to take photos for them at the airport and stuff. boss put this through and wants you to do since he thinks you're suitable for this. but he also wants them to collab on our company." he blabbed.

"too much to take in but okay." you replied, leaving the room. you walked to your desk and sat down.

"here's a coffee." james set down a cup of hot coffee.

"thanks. it's so chaotic today, i don't think i'll survive bro." you chuckled, taking a sip of your coffee. you guys had a little chat before martin starting laughing out of nowhere. i'm so done with this place.

after a couple weeks, the photoshoot and airport pictures started.

"i'm nervous." you told martin, genuinely worried about how bad the photos will turn out.

"you're finee." martin waved it off, patting your shoulder. "your photos are worse than mine."

"SHUT UP YOU SLENDERMAN ASS MAN." you shouted while running after him, your number 1 desire to throw a shoe and smack him. after chasing and getting yelled at by james, jaehyun and his members came in, walking nonchalantly.

"so.. he looks.." haum judged, sighing. "he's okay looking.." you smacked her head, shushing her so jaehyun won't hear. haum yelped in pain, rubbing the back of her head. you laughed, walking away from haum.

"hi." jaehyun walked up to you, smiling widely. you chuckled, ruffling his hair. you guys texted during the duration of a couple weeks. you have been talking about him a lot, falling head over heels over jaehyun.

"hi, jae." you replied, hugging him. you guys went on a couple dates but it was in the middle of the night since sasaengs were everywhere.

"wanna go on a date tonight?" jaehyun whispered, fidgeting his fingers, nervous for your response.

"no shit, sherlock." you laughed, nodding. jaehyun sighed in relief, holding in a breath that he didn't even know it was held for so long.

"Y/N! STOP FLIRTING WITH YOUR MAN." martin yelled through the megaphone. everyone laughed, including the members. the photoshoot lasted for an hour or so, and it finally finished.

"thank you!!" boynextdoor bowed.

"no problem!" our staff responsed. after boynextdoor left, everyone surrounded you. questions were piling up like coats getting stacked up in the middle of a table.

"are you guys dating??" vernon asked. you thought about it for a bit, slowly nodding.

"not yet." you replied. just then, jaehyun's message popped up on your screen, lighting up the wallpaper. chaewon snatched the phone, looking at the wallpaper.

"yah, YOUR WALLPAPER IS A DATE PHOTO OF YOU TWO?!" haum exclaimed loudly, making everyone glance at your phone screen. you snatched your phone back, opening up the message. meet me at my dorm, xxxxx dorms. you widened your eyes, surprised. work finally ended after a lot of meetings and results.

you went back home, dressed up for the date. you drove to jaehyun's place, finding his dorm. you opened the door, revealing roses laid on the ground with candles, while playing one of your favorite boynextdoor songs, dear. my darling. there was a sign straight ahead asking, will you be my girlfriend?

"YES!!!" you exclaimed, tearing up. jaehyun came forward, smiling like a little kid. you gave him a big hug, him twirling you around.

"i love you, l/n y/n." jaehyun said, kissing your cheek. you smiled, turning red immediately. "i love you too, myung jaehyun." you yanked his tie into a kiss, deepening the kiss. you instantly pulled back, looking around and laughing.

"you did all of this?" you chuckled. jaehyun nodded, pulling you to the couch. you guys sat down, looking at the black tv.

"well, i never knew you would say yes so quickly. so let's just turn on a movie." jaehyun turned on a classic love movie, princess and the frog.

"and that's it." you ended the story, laying back into jaehyun.

"so that's why it was a mess in his dorm." leehan clicked in his brain.

"yeah, and he talked about you a lot. we never knew how he asked you out." sungho said, laughing. everyone laughed, talking about old memories of you and jaehyun.

"i'm glad i met you, yeobo." jaehyun whispered in your ear.

"me too." you answered back, pecking his lips.

morning spilled through the curtains, shining the bed directly towards you and jaehyun. you slowly got up, carefully peeling off jaehyun's arm that was slung around you. you tiptoed to the bathroom, quickly washing up and leaving the room.

walking towards the kitchen, you slipped on an apron. you started cooking some breakfast, humming a song to yourself. the door creaked open, revealing a half-awake jaehyun. he waddled towards you, hugging your back and snuggling into your neck.

"...morning." jaehyun murmured.

"morning, baby." you replied, still cooking up eggs. "go wash up first, and then you can eat."

"ughhh, i don't want to leaveee." he whined and pouted. you turned around, pressing a kiss on his lips. he slowly grinned, ears turning red.

jaehyun giggled, walking to the bathroom. after he washed up, you and jaehyun started eating breakfast. the door rang and knocked urgently, annoying you.

"it's 9 am in the morning, who the fuck is here-" you cursed to yourself, opening the door.

"YO YO YO!" woonhak yelled, barging in.

"woonhak, don't you have proper manners?" sungho scolded, smacking the back of his head. woonhak yelped in pain, rubbing the red mark on his head.

"why are you guys hereee?" jaehyun groaned. you laughed, wrapping your arms around jaehyun.

"stop being lovey-dovey in front of us, jeez." taesan covered his eyes jokingly.

"okay, why are you here anyway?" you asked, grabbing the dishes.

"jaehyun said that he's gonna tell us on how you met!!" riwoo excitedly answered. you stopped washing the dishes and turned around.

"jae..." you sighed, glancing at the eager members. "i thought you told them??" you exclaimed.

"so... i didn't because i was busy and stuff." jaehyun replied, looking away.

"so you didn't tell them about the dates.. or how we started talking." you clarified while the rest of the members started playing games. you turned to the sink, sighing.

"fine. we will tell them how we met." you told him. "but you are saying the first half."

"okay!!" jaehyun jumped in excitement, going to the couch. you eventually went there too, finishing up the dishes.

"y/n, you start first!!" leehan said while the members were agreeing.

"okay, fine. so what happened was..." you started.

you were walking to work, stopping by a cafe for a coffee.

"can i get an iced americano please?" you asked the cashier.

while grabbing your wallet, you heard screams and gasps behind you. you ignored it, paying the cashier and waiting for your coffee.

once the coffee was out, you snatched it, leaving the coffee shop as quickly as you can.

"shit, i'm going to be late." you cursed to yourself. you ran to the office, dashing to the elevator.

"well, good morning to you, i guess." chaewon sighed, pressing the button.

"did i miss anything?" you panted, leaning on the elevator's wall.

"no, not really." chaewon replied, scrolling through social media.

"holy shit. HOLY SHIT!" chaewon yelled. i flinched by her yelling. i look over her phone, seeing what it said.

Myung Jaehyun and the BOYNEXTDOOR members are in Busan! They just attended a coffee shop nearby a famous business, Haru Studio!

"wait, hold on." you looked at your coffee, looking at the name. Myung Jaehyun. the name was written in careful but messy handwriting.

"uhm... chaewon.." you showed her the cup. chaewon went through three different emotions.

"okay, that cafè doesn't do redos." you sighed, handing your work stuff over to chaewon. "tell manager-nim that i'm going to be late." the elevator just stopped at the floor you worked on. you dashed out, running down the endless staircase. once you made it outside, you ran to the cafè, yanking the door opening and walking in.

"hi, uh i have the wrong coffee and i just noticed. i haven't touched the drink." you said, out of breath. the barista chuckled, giving you a cup of water.

"it's okay, the person that has your drink is that guy." the barista pointed out. you nodded, appreciating what she said. you straighten your hair and shirt, slowly walking over.

"hello, are you myung jaehyun?" you tapped his shoulder.

"hi! yes, this is he!" jaehyun replied happily. "you are y/n right?" he asked, making sure he's not getting it wrong.

"yeah, sorry about that." you nervously replied. jaehyun laughed a little, smiling widely. you froze for a minute, admiring his smile and face.

"i have to go to work right now, sorry again." you bowed, walking away until..
