Indulge in the rich and smoky flavors of this Traeger-smoked pumpkin pie. Perfect for autumn gatherings or holiday feasts, this recipe combines the classic taste of pumpkin with the unique touch of wood-fired cooking.
Ingredients: 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust. 2 cups canned pumpkin puree. 1 cup brown sugar. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 3 large eggs. 1 cup evaporated milk. 1/2 cup water. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Whipped cream for topping.
Instructions: Set the Traeger smoker to a temperature of 375F 190C. Pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt should all be combined in a sizable mixing bowl. One egg at a time, beat in, and then thoroughly mix in water, vanilla extract, and evaporated milk. Fill the pie crust that hasn't baked with the pumpkin mixture. After positioning the pie on the Traeger smoker grate, shut the lid. For about 60 to 70 minutes, or until the center sets, smoke the pumpkin pie. After taking the pie out of the smoker, allow it to come to room temperature. Before serving, place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight. Before serving, place whipped cream on top. Cut into a pie and savor the flavor of your Traeger-smoked pumpkin!
